Had a similar hotel experience a while back, chick was looking at a paper notepad where they had hand written the bookings, I showed her my confirmation on my phone and she was still saying she didn’t have my booking, looking in her freakin paper notepad 🤣🤣
I wouldn't worry too much about defamation laws when giving a review about a hotel stay or restaurant. I have given my fair share of honest reviews, not all good, to AirBnB rentals, Shopee stores, hotels, etc. How else are Thai businesses going to improve if someone doesn't tell them what's wrong. I have read a ton of negative reviews given by Thai people to Thai businesses, so it's not like foreigner standards are any different than Thai customer standards. Thais want what they pay for also, and they aren't shy about letting a business know when they're dissatisfied. Good video.
Took me about a year here to learn to chill like a Thai. I was 34, still had a stressful job fly in fly out. Fourteen years later I can't think of one thing that stresses me. Running out of cigarettes maybe. You will get there, living for today is the Thai way.
First Thailand video that I've watched in over a month, I get miserable watching anything Thailand, because I am stuck here in SA and would rather be in Thailand but it seems impossible to get a long-term visa. I don't have the megabucks they want for the visa. Thanks for your awesome video's.
Same thing in most industries bro once you pay they lose interest in you...Thats the great thing about tax your always paying so the government always likes you right ?
Spot on mate. Experienced similar things and good on you for ‘being real’ but in a ‘fair way’. You have to be fairly flexible and very laid back dealing with some things here.. we do appreciate you can only take it so far before you become a bit…. Miffed off lol Great video anyway, hope to have the chance to catch up before we yeet. 🙏🙏

OK, so the reason why Thailand was never taken over by the British or French is because the two countries agreed it would be neutral ground between the British occupied Burma and the French occupied Vietnam.
@@GoneAdrift yes brother it's stinking hot here now. If you and the missus ever come up the North East (Khon kean) you must come and see are view. We have a boss mountain range in our back garden haha. 👍🏼
That's just an excuse. Geographically, there is no need to allocate large areas of more than 500,000 square kilometers (larger than the conquered territory) as buffer zones. But because of them (England and France) do everything they can. But Thailand still survives.
What are the visa options at your age? I am over 50 so for me its either 20Kaud in the bank for a marriage visa or 40k for a retirement visa. Marriage is more of a hassle to get but you can work on it. I have wondered how you and Keisone manage to stay in the country.
Keisy’s got a business visa which he worked long & hard for. An annual Education Visa (going to class each week to learn Thai) is one option. A Muay Thai Visa (paying to practice martial arts) is another more affordable option. Folks with big money need not worry. Thanks for sharing!
beautifully landscaped property. everything nicely pruned, even the trees. but we never see anybody working on it. are gardeners early birds or seasonal?
Good old border run and done in Lele's sweet ride, red seats. Nice work!!😃We've had some awesome stays around Thailand, let down by cement bed.1 day till take off for us🛫The lovely getting excited!
Yeah man, for a fee she’ll do a day there and back. Cambodia is now beginning to enforce mandatory overnight stays so there’s a bit of technical stuff that needs to happen on the border to active out of this.
Had a similar experience in Jomtien at a well known condominium complex . Not even a functional reception desk . Had to get gate security to let us in . Terrible service . It’s like once they got the money they just don’t care. Good luck
Your right ,they advertise the condo and you purchase but there is no one to hand over keys or book you in or out. It’s something to watch out for when booking budget property. I’m referring to chateau Dale , Thappraya Rd, Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150,

had same but always where possible print out you're booking and then show the hotel and I have then had a problem

Still doing border runs? Seems like you need to get a proper visa! 🤣 BTW, that hotel looked very nice. Hard to believe it doesn't have any customers.
been waiting for a new vid buddy....🥳
Taa brother! Have a fun one in the works, out in a couple of days. Back in Pattaya now!
Nice peaceful looking place you stayed at,, pity about the service tho. be careful you don't do too many border runs....😊

No wonder some places service is ordinary if you can’t give a critical review. Nice vid though

Ahhhh yes! That’s what I learned!
Alas with the construction in the background and the heat of the day at Chantaburi river I couldn’t recollect much
