Despite the title, I found this to be a fun, happy, upbeat video, Sammy. So, thanks for that. I like the use of the reggae-influenced music. The girl on the water board seemed nice, the tour of the beach clubs was very cool, and I thought that the Alexa club looked great! All-around cool video! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pattaya is a big adult play garden but get really old fast... Playing with a different girl every day is fun in the beginning but i was very surprised that i got bored with it 😂 I've been single in Thailand and i've been in a relationship a couple of times. Hi Dude, Hang in there. You are now in the right mindset to victory :) Life is hard and I am a bit older than you and what I have realized now is that we all survive and every bad situation I have had makes room for the next great experience ! You got this !
Theres a big difference between being alone and lonely. Worlds apart and the result of having no clear goals , purpose or constructive creative hobbies. 1, Get up before sunrise and be barefoot on the beach in front of the sun.Set your intention, have gratitude for your those working feet and body parts. Your not in a city of rubble with no food or water or people. You are slipping into a poor me state, snap out of it. You know all of this. Change your routine now, get your shit together now. Imagine going back to your past working life or being a sleep walker slaving for others. Your life is a reflection of what is on your mind abd attention. Set new intention every moment you can and watch the magic. Simple is as simple does. Enjoy the paradise. You are the designer, dont complain about the life you created while distracted, re invent now, later and again and soon you will experience that inner power and laugh at this video.
I love that I finally realized I love being alone and single. Being needy was exhausting and made be vulnerable to getting taken advantage of. If someday I ever get bored of freedom and are no longer content I really hope I don't broadcast to the world how much I loneley and needy I am on social media at the start of my search for someone.
Sam, I get your pain and the re-adjustment needed. I guess it’s a matter of feeling more vulnerable too. BUT, the opportunities are spread out before you- just got to embrace change. Good time to travel. Try Saigon, or Siem Reap - Myanmar.
Sam Without being unmercifully critical living in Thailand comes with a cost especially on a limited budget and it’s not going to get much better unless you discover a way of making a sustainable steady income which YT will not deliver unless you have a substantial following which as you know takes time to establish … Sooner or later you’ll have to make a hard decision and I personally would hate to make that decision with the possibility of having to leave Thailand … The last thing you need is another woman complicating your life and the main reason for that it’s a financial burden and as long as you live in Thailand that’s never going to change unfortunately … Cheers mate Best of luck
Sam, I have visited that area. Not my vibe. I'm an actual working musician, or rather a drummer that is invited to hang around with musicians. I just watched and appreciated. No comments, certainly no criticism. As I travel in this world, musicians are the best to hang out with. And that is everywhere.
im only 27 already preparing my semi retirement to live in Thailand going to be doing 6 month trips living there by the end of next year and ill be back in jomtien in November for 5 weeks have to love that place its incredible
I went to Pattaya 2016 and i was lost & lonely. Found comfort in woman, eating and drinking. But found myself back to square one doesn't matter how much i gratified the flesh. I want something more substantial. JESUS was the answer. After i started to read the Bible and putting it into practice, praying and seeking God i felt i was being healed from rejection, loneliness and i felt whole. Jesus loves you.
Join the club Bro ! It’s hard without the Thai GF around, sometimes that person becomes your best friend too, lucky for you you’ve got Adam out here, meanwhile in BKK, Keis, Rob and Serge have moved. The few friends I’ve made from the west all moved to Pattaya as they got bored of Bangkok. Im fine being alone for the most part but the loneliness does resort to either staying hidden in the house or out drinking too much. Hard to find that balance. I’ll try and get down there to see you soon
You have to learn to be comfortable with yourself alone. If you can do that, every relationship you add to your life is gravy. People come and go, through no fault of your own.

Eat a diet of hi protein, much lower carb, heavy emphasis on vegetables low emphasis on fruit, take basic supplements. Lift weights on a circuit style workout 3-4x a week or do push pull legs style, do aerobic/HIIT training 4-6x a week, train stomach/core 3-4x a week. Consider yoga and potentially a sport 1 to 2 days a week. As far as aerobic training be careful of the joints if you choose to run only run one to two days a week maximum you will achieve almost identical results with a fairly brisk incline walk on a treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes. Don't forget if you're able mountain climbers and burpees. Good luck you can do it, this is my basic workout and I'm almost 61 years old. Good luck brother
i was like you in thailand BUT when you meet a guy who you have things in common with it makes it easier. I have been to thailand 3 x in the past year. ONLY THAILAND. now i will be going to phillipines in Jan with a cool dude i met from ENGLAND. we hit it off so well. Yeh also wish english was more popular. super great video
1. Don't break the three day rule. 2. There are several ex-pat clubs in Pattaya where you can meet folks with similar interests (cycling, surfing, hiking, cards, reading, travel, cooking, music, blogging, etc) as yours.
Just a thought mate but do you reckon you would go back to Australia and just start from scratch? The best thing about Thailand is visiting on holidays and not worrying about all these issues living there. Go back to AUS. Hit the hard grind and visit Thailand 3-4 times a year. That's the ideal lifestyle bro ;)
Lots of good advice here. It seems to me that a part time BUT high paying occupation...maybe only 4 days per week might keep you busy and productive. Beyond that I feel that the muay thai training might fill in the rest of your hours and provide you with health benefits. There also might be Facebook meetups for non drinking topics...maybe some professional groups...business oriented. Work on you.
When i'm back in September i'm staying at Jomtien for the last week, i'll be checking out all the places along the beach 👍and hopefully i wont get drunk everyday, i need to detox before i go home🙏😄
Hey man! I've been following you for awhile. I'm Swedish (40 years old) and I'm having serious plans to move to Thailand within a couple of years. The problem is that I need something to work with as an expat, do you know what westerners normally do there? I'm working in a really niche IT job that doesn't translate to an international market which means that I need to find something else. Any advice on how to make a living over there would be awesome. I'm coming to Pattaya in January on a normal vacation (gonna go to Bangkok and other places as well to network a bit to see if I can find something). Anyway, great video!
Hey mate. It’s the age-old question…. And one that gets tossed around a lot. How bad do you want it, haha? There are ways but not to be discussed openly. Dig deep and you’ll get there
Additionally, I think every bloke is going through a similar situation being out there two times this year and in the process of working out what I want to do in my life. You feel like you're in no man's land and you will go out and drink and party to make yourself feel better. But afterwards, you're left with a emptiness. Wondering what you're doing with your life. I think this is where the Buddhist crack it and do a good job where they basically own The emptiness and see it for what it is. It's about controlling your mind. You know, it's quite complicated if you let it be. I think we're allowed to a simple life of a good woman and no drama, but it's very hard to find that perfect situation
Keeping in mind, I only know about the things you post... it seems to me danny is the key brother. With his connections, you could easily do your own travel agency type thing. Maybe creating or modernizing business' web sites. Creating drone footage for resorts or property owners; even other travel agencies. Of course, you could always make a few bucks editing Keis' book (finally) lolol wishing you good fortune my brother, safe journey
Your condo looks near chateau Dale Thappraya Road Jomtien where I stayed and noticed the locals there networking so the community kind of supports itself . Here in Australia, have a dog for companionship.. just a thought.
This other TH-camr also living in Thailand claimed that buying real estate and renting it out wasn't worth it. He said the average returns were only around 3 - 5%. He said you're better off leaving your money in an index fund and get around 10% return. You own properties. What do you think?
If you are looking to get a proper, lasting relationship in Thailand, and want to stay in Thailand, be positive and (1) change your location and go out to cities in the provinces where you could find a steady, sensible gf who will not be totally dependent on you (2) start learning the Thai language! Good luck.
Hang out with u mate keit1 some more I got the feeling that he want to help you on anyway possible. You don't need a girlfriend you can enjoy other ways it's just you last girlfriend she maybe a good girl but had a big baggage that you bot in position to can handle. Hope the best for u Sam. You a good man.
You are correct , you are in a non English speaking country. You are a foreigner and will always be. Sit with 3 Thai people and you realise very quickly that this is not home. They have two prices Thai price and foreigner price also a lot of people won't like the heat and humidity. No place is perfect. Asian women don't like the beach. They know the damage the sun does. You'll want to go to the beach and they want to stay at home
You have a big heart so loneliness is difficult to overcome but usually just networking and being an extrovert allows new experiences to just come to you. And your a TH-camr ha ha And business opportunities in Thailand well that’s another story. Ha ha
Dealing with universal truths. Seems like you have a lock on it. Great topic & video.

Be confident trust yourself
Enjoy ya clips, sounds like ya put yourself under pressure

At least when u do visit your not on a budget 5 meals a day drinks all the extras run out just come back and save up again
@@danb5944 1000% bro. Thailand is only great when you have money
@@clintonthorne7389 Yes, the ideal would be to see my family muchhhhh more often.

Enjoy the orchard, mate. Sabei sabei 👊🏻🙏👊🏻
Lonely!!! Turn it up 😅
@@jeffevans9071 hahahaha
its amazing when traveling how you meet so many other cool mates. Being from the US it seems easier to meet people when traveling
I get the vibe that Danny is your mate. He will introduce you into your next endeavour of any kind without you realising I bet.
Suck it up buttercup.
Focus on your work and bettering yourself. Work will always be there for you. Work will never let you down.
You will be fine !
I work on myself day in day out 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Keep up the good work. And, construction projects are great.

Dog's no companion for such an unstable lifestyle/person. Up to 15 yrs of lifetime owed, doesn't make the impression that he'd be able to provide it.
This other TH-camr also living in Thailand claimed that buying real estate and renting it out wasn't worth it. He said the average returns were only around 3 - 5%. He said you're better off leaving your money in an index fund and get around 10% return. You own properties. What do you think?
I certainly do not own anything in Thailand. Not in a position to give any advice
If you are looking to get a proper, lasting relationship in Thailand, and want to stay in Thailand, be positive and (1) change your location and go out to cities in the provinces where you could find a steady, sensible gf who will not be totally dependent on you (2) start learning the Thai language! Good luck.
👌🏻
Your not really alone.......you can't meet the person for you....if the wrong one id taking up space.
I was at alexa last february.. great place but was mostly chinese tourists. Maybe it was just that week
The show must go on.
I'm sorry to have to say this to you. MAN UP!! STOP BEING A SIMP! 💪❤️
Haha, it’s all entertainment homie
Hang out with u mate keit1 some more I got the feeling that he want to help you on anyway possible. You don't need a girlfriend you can enjoy other ways it's just you last girlfriend she maybe a good girl but had a big baggage that you bot in position to can handle. Hope the best for u Sam. You a good man.
I stopped alcohol and replaced it with Xbox and coffee. Friends come and go sadly. Still got my core friends though. Not single anymore too helps.
Ha ha
@@Hukahey 5 star review for your 5 points ;)
Bro I feel the same. Living in North Pattaya I get sick of all the bars and bar girls.
Enjoy it while you can
