This is such an awesome build, my favourite! Can't wait to see it drive down the road! What an absolute head-turner, I've never seen anything like it!😍
What a fantastic hot rod, you have a great imagination. It does look classy and is a head turner. I would like to see it coming down the road. I would paint the spare wheel on the inside with the chrome paint.
option 4 make a wooden panel to fit in the lip of the wheel, and use it to hold the tools needed to change the wheel and it even becomes more useful as a spare. I cant tell how deep it is buy maybe a folding 4 way lug wrench will fit
I saw that some of the German brands used to have Jerry cans to fit inside the spare in the trunk. Some off road rigs also use the space inside the wheel as storage.
I love your can do, budget, diy attitude. The use of a pot lid as a hub cap is the sort of thing I would do but get too scared about doing for a lot of parts. I have those sort of ideas (eg. I was going to use domes from doors off 2 old washing machines as port hole windows on an old van but got convinced from the comments I get from "car guys" that they would be unsafe when driving or never pass a road worthy.) It is great to see someone in Australia doing these creative, clever ideas that I feel a lot of old school hotroding was based off and making cars that look so good.
@@ME-qq3gr thanks mate appreciate it, agree everyone has to spend 100k now and buy everything put of a brochure otherwise it's crap (in there opinion). I'd rather do it this way and they are totally unique
Love that grill. The spare worked out great. I really need to build a console/speedo holder for the Lil' Red Truck. I like how you did yours, I'm using the same shifter. The lights are cool, were they for a motorcycle? I was thinking of looking at bikes for front parking/indicators for the school T-bucket. Man, that car sits just right.
@@Brooksyscarrestorations finally start back on it this week been trying to get onto it for 6 weeksbut something else keeps poping up so not this week's vid but next week's vid will be on it
@copperheadkustoms yeah said how good it was and other stuff, youtube screw Aussie content creator's 🙄 😒 😪 good to see you got over 4K but it's missing a few zeros 😉👌
Woo-hoo back on the Oakland. ❤ this car. Can't wait to see what you create for it.

Wheel looks great 👍. Black back looks good but chrome would work and work give impression that whole wheel was chromed like the smoothies are.
Thanks
