YOU nailed the inner wheel tool cover! How awesome! It's all these little unique things you do to all your builds that make them stand out from the other builds I've seen on the other channels! Next level stuff! 😊
Love ya work, turned out Brilliant, glad you ditched the foam idea, as it turned out better IMHO, see ya ne t week, I'll be watching 👀 🍻 have a great weekend coming 👊🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🍻🍻
First I had to watch with full screen to avoid spoilers. I was never thinking about the expanding foam. There is a type of foam that would cure with out oxygen, but they get hot and cost money. The other way is to lay cloth over the tool side, but the depth of the foam is still a issue. I use the expanding insulating foam to make backgrounds for my frog tanks, if it gets to thick it wont cure in the center. This was still a great learning experience I was more think of attaching some Velcro or straps to hold the tools to the board. I was also thinking about a small bottle jack or trolley jack, but those scissor ones are so compact. You might want to modify the jack head or the frame. That style of jack grabs on either side of the pinch weld of the sill plates. Maybe weld a small angle iron to the frame for the jack to bite on? Building a rat rod with a functional spare, when modern car don't even have on 🤣 This thing is turning into a comfortable grocery getter. As for the color black looks good but pick the one you like
Hey I sent you an email the other day, that’s in your description does it still, I spoke to a while ago about an Oakland I have. But not sure if it sent properly. I love what you’re doing I’d leave it black.
The expanding foam needs to hit open air to turn solid. The plastic sealed it off too much. Good idea in theory, just miffed the execution. The end result still looks great and works easily. The black with read wheels is a classic look that appeals to about everyone who.
haha yes worked that out a bit to late that the foam needed air, think i could off pulled it off just ran out of time and didnt want to buy another can at nearly $40. This weeks vid will interest you mate probabally not the car so much but what i do to it.
What an awesome idea for the jack and tools!
Thanks 😊

Its a pity the expanded foam didn't work out. Seemed a good idea. Good save in the end. Great idea 💡. Looks good.

Think this car would suit most colours, either leave black or paint either gray or brown, but looks really good as is.
That's sitting on the fence 🤣

I think if you want to paint it, yellow with the cream would look good.
