Thanks so much for your honest review. We're always aiming to improve our products and will certainly consider adding some additional grip or means of loosening the cap. The reason it is as slim as it is currently is due to the very limited hood clearance on certain common engine/chassis combos.
Vibrant oil catch can p/n 12695. Up to this date l have not collected any oil yet. Idk why but maybe that extra oil baffle l added on made a difference. Thank you very much.
great video is it ok to have port on top right of valve cover going to intake manifold? i have that blocked on my turbo h22 i thought it would mess up boost pressure
I have a valve cover w/ a 2 10an bung welded and sure this one are a lot cleaner and 500 miles after and no sign of oil in the catch can yet. That's w/ the additional piece of metal inide the head l installed. Thank you for watching.
You dont need anymore, this one setup is enough. Make sure to put that extra metal shroud inside. Just like l have it, otherwise the oil will end up in the catch can.
Hey what did you make the plate/ baffle you made it out of? I was think about cutting a soda can and using that but idk if it would deform under the heat and start hitting the rocker assembley as i will be doing it on a dseries.. thank you in advance
I used a heatshield, you can use any galvanized sheet or the one you can get at home depot. Soda can may not do the job. When you put it on, bend it a little w/o interfering on the valve cover.
No,not really. Do you have the same one, 2.1 version? I really have to watch how tight l'll tighten the cap otherwise it takes a lot of pressure to loosen it.

Did u plug all the factory pcv ports in the block and intake manifold?
The F23 block has no PCV port. I plugged only 1 port at the valve cover next to oil cap. Intake manifold port is still being used.
Hey, do you also need a separate catch can for the crank pressure, Or jus this one catch can In the valve cover ok?
You dont need anymore, this one setup is enough. Make sure to put that extra metal shroud inside. Just like l have it, otherwise the oil will end up in the catch can.

The seal under the cap I think is what keeping it not to break loose.
yes same one. which bottom seal are you talking about?
@@Hello_its_me_mario the cap have a groove for a seal.
its actually not the cap that keeps coming loose its the nut that goes in before the cap.
Great job
