Thanks for watching and I'm glad to be back. I hadn't planned on taking a break from videos especially since I had a bunch planned to film and upload over the Christmas holiday. But as always, life got in the way. Glad to be back now though. Thanks again for sticking around! -Chris
Those vans where used as a “Inspector’s office. Example would be when a road is being Repaved the State inspector would take a “Core” sample and test and Verify that the asphalt or concrete being used would be to Specifications. They would have Burners and high speed Blenders to test the material.
Hi Chris happy new year. Really good to hear hear from you again, its always a pleasure going through this auction lots with you, I like the E 250 Vans, I learnt driving with one of those.
If you can learn to drive a full size van like those E250's, than you can pretty much drive anything! Those things are huge and must be a bit intimidating. Thanks for joining along for the auction tour!
Right on. This auction was pretty fun with the trucks, snow plows and other weird things. Those three service trucks seemed like a fairly inexpensive way of getting a decent truck for a new tradesman just starting out.
Good to see you again Chris. I told you before you need a street cleaner for your block. The neighbors would love you for keeping it clean. Always enjoy the auction vids. ~Pat
Thanks so much and thanks for joining along with the auction tour too. This one was pretty fun with the trucks, snow plows and other weird things. Some of those prices though, dang!
I just picked up an oate F150 extended cab down here in Texas for 3500 it has 187,000 miles on it Best Buy ever made with a 4.6 motor in it my brother the mechanic went through it did a full tune-up on it change out a couple. Coil packs on it new tires on it rocking and rolling have been to the east coast from Texas twice. In it. I am averaging 22.3 miles per gallon on both trips around town I get 17 should have bought one of those always for the 4.6 can't go wrong
Another great video! Always enjoy your auction video. That Tahoe had lights on the side steps too, you can see all the holes when you do that side shot.
2:55 That price range for those trucks in that condition did not scare me at all. I would have taken one of them home. 3:55 Same thing as the F150's. 5:20 That was probably a supervisor/Shift Commander vehicle, or a K9 vehicle. That actually seems like a fair price. 8:35 I definitely would have grabbed the message board trailer with the faded paint and the electronics being in "not bad" condition. That trailer actually looks like it was originally intended to be a car hauler. Then I would have told the winner of the other trailer that he/she could have the sign if they removed it and made absolute sure all the actual trailer lights still worked. I wouldn't have had a problem going into a bidding war with someone for that trailer either, especially for how low they sold for.
Hey Chris, great to see you back! Have missed your reviews. You got a chuckle out of me when you suggested a street sweeper for your daughter! (Not sure that is one on many people's list!)
With the light duty trucks it would be interesting to find out what engine is in them. The E250 seemed like a good deal. Always enjoy your videos. I was 18 when I went to my first NY State police car auction.
Those small chevy cargo vans are actually rebadged nissan nv200 cargo vans. The only thing gm on those are the badges. I didnt know they were the same van until I saw a chevy one and a nissan one side by side on the road and they looked the exact same.
Definitely the exact same van except Nissan gives you a 5 year /100,000 bumper to bumper warranty where as Chevy only gives you 3 year/ 36,000 bumper to bumper
Those sign trailers could double their purchase price if the solar panels can be removed and it has it's own solar controller. Right around $800 for the trailer and another $800-1000 for the solar panels with the controller, the solar would be good starting point for a small home solar setup like a starter set.
I been watching your videos, and im interested in learning more about this auctions and how do I go to buy then,I own a contruction business in lancaster pa and I will lije to get some feed back if is ok with you, thank you
Didn't know you were looking for a RollRoyce at an auction. So there's rust-as long as the frame isn't rusted just Bondo the wheel wells. This is the great Northeast-we get rust. Scoring a 2007 pickup for a $1000 is a GREAT DEAL !!! See how much people on Craigslist ask- guaranteed you wont get that for a $1000...
I almost bought one of those message board trailers, the sign was gone, but the battery and solar system is what I was after. That black Tahoe, I bet that was the chief’s vehicle.
That's kinda my thoughts too about those message boards. The trailer and like you said about the solar system and batteries has some value. And that Tahoe, I'm totally thinking the same thing.
Chris that's a deal for the sweeper trucks they usually run about $225,000 brand new especially if they're Elgin that's like the Cadillac of sweepers for any municipality anyways how's the charger
Those vans at the beginning would make EXCELLENT camping/van life conversions. Even have spare batteries all ready to go! Yeah not as "hip" as a VW van but way more under the radar.
Went to a telephone co. auction years ago, looking to get a van, mail in bids, i bid on at least 10 vehicles no response on any van,I think dealers have a edge on who gets what
I hear you about the 5.4. I was looking at an Expedition a couple months ago that had the 5.4. After researching about the engine I learned about all kinds of issues.
Tahoe , sold 20 grand, U can find easy here in the city, Nice but minty condition for 21 to 23 grand max From serious private driver, not from some dot ir other department users/abusers
Rust is killing all the used vehicles anymore. What is causing that?Awesome video thanks for sharing. Sorry I have not been watching your videos lately. Something has happened to my TH-cam channel. I'm not getting all of my video's anymore. I just happen to run across this video. Stay well and safe my friend. Where is this auction located?
Hey... Frank here: Wow, the trucks are sold for a lot of bucks. Are the prices increasing at the auctions? I expected less high prices for the first white trucks in your video. Regards Frank
Hey buddy, Thank U greatly for update all the time, but in this episode, Black Tahoe 2015, went to over priced, 6 years old, not fully loaded, 20grannd. Wow. They ripped people by bidding, Especially when some of department use vehicle for almost 100 k miles, that car it's Biiig possibilities, abused many times, By the strain Driver Wwwow. 20.grand 👎👎👎😫😫😫
I kind of laugh when you show rust, here that would be seen as very little rust 🤣. I seriously should travel and grab vehicles from other states and bring them back to MI to resell, I would make $2-3K what the purchase price is on some of these.
Always enjoy seeing these auctions! Glad to see you upload again.

4.6l sohc is a TERRIFIC engine. I had one in a 2007 F150, 4wd. They are slightly underpowered for towing though.
Good to see you buddy take care keep safe an warm good luck

Really good video plase keep them so interesting
Those Ford pickups are mint for NYS. And they will go 300,000 miles or so.
They're going way high for what they are though.
Awesome show
Hah, you strip those message boards down and you've got a nice little motorcycle trailer.

Hey! I enjoy your videos. Do you ever post a link to your car sales?
Tahoe looks like it could have been a investigators vehicle. Thats what they do here were i live in new york.
Do you get to start these vehicles before bidding on them?

Why did they get all of those focus’s all those years ago?
do you ever ask for & get repair logs?
Went to a telephone co. auction years ago, looking to get a van, mail in bids, i bid on at least 10 vehicles no response on any van,I think dealers have a edge on who gets what
I feel that way to sometimes.
Tahoe--Coroner???
Love the content!!
Interesting clip thanks
I find it a bit interesting how the quality of the Ford emblem have changed, the newer ones are not holding up nearly as long as the old ones did.
How can I get with you about getting some of those cars
Don’t buy a Ford with the 5.4!

I love USA trucks and vans.❤🇺🇸USA vans and trucks king of the world.
I’m surprised at the rust on some of those trucks. I thought you were below the rust belt. Sea salt maybe?
Stay warm Chris
Where is this? Address ?
Same thing I was thinking about those trailers....steal
Any RAM Trucks?
Naw, I didn't see any Dodge trucks this time and really, I rarely see any Dodge's in the DOT fleet

Salt and unfixed damage causes the rust.
But could be good knowledge about exactly place where you are
Those old f 150 s went for alot !
That Tahoe could of been a Governors car, or maybe the head of the State Polices car. Some high up muckety mucks ride..

prob is you have to tell customer they are cops cars etc...
those F150's are known for springs breaking
That tank trailer if it would pass all inspection you could have sold it for 10000 to 15000
I can only imagine Rural Vermonter laughing on how litlle rust these cars have in comparison with the cars he buys...
tip: market decent vans to the van life ppl. we make nomad campers out of em...see facebook & youtubers etc... pages
What up Chris,
Grace is turning 16? Yikes.
Yeah, get her a Brinks Truck with a manual transmission.
-Chuck
Not too bad for salt belt vehicles, I've seen far worse
There seems to be something wrong with your sound
so many vans
More charger videos!!
I was just thinking the same thing. It's about time to come up with some Charger videos.
Those little Chev vans are rebadged Nissans.
Those would be "like new" upstate NY
Those service trucks sold cheap
I kinda feel the same way. It's a fairly inexpensive way of getting a decent truck for a new tradesman just starting out.
