GH is a nice large family-friendly resort but is not true luxury tier. Andaz is a smaller and more luxury-focused resort. It really depends on what type of vibe you want and what island you are interested in. We really enjoyed both. Andaz for luxury, GH for "fun"
Nice! I stayed at the Andaz & Grand Wailea 2 months ago. Andaz was our favorite! Plus I booked before points pricing went up so I only paid 25k points per night I believe.

I earn World of Hyatt points from a lot of sources but one of the main ones was the signup bonuses on various Chase Ink Cards (Chase Ink Preferred and Cash). This summer we did a total of 6 trips. Alila Ventana, Ritz Laguna Niguel, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Kauai, Las Vegas, and Maui. (although two of these were only for one night). Next videos in the queue are our trip to Moab Utah where we got a bonkers good deal at the Hyatt Place and Alila Ventana Big Sur 🙂
