OMG! Such an amazing video! My wife and I came for our honeymoon Sept 2019 and absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the Andaz! We will def stay there again when we come back
Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.
Hi, planning a honeymoon for late August and considering the Andaz. Few questions - 1) how was your room? I’ve read some lackluster reviews that the rooms are rather ‘blah’ or ‘plain’, (including bed, linens, etc.) and underwhelming for the luxurious price they charge. 2) also, apparently they are undergoing construction, did you notice/see any of this? 3) were you guys Hyatt rewards members? Thanks!
Hi Gregg! Congrats on your honeymoon! I loved the Andaz and Im sure you will too! 1) The room is plain, but the view was nice and I enjoyed it nonetheless. Did you get an oceanview? 2) I did not notice any construction 3) yes we are Hyatt explorists now at the time we were discoverists. It is pricey but utilizie all their amenities and you will have a great time! Their food on property was also very yummy! Enjoy!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Andaz late last August, and we LOVED it. The room was simple and the view from there was not great (we had a “mountain” view with no mountain 🤷♀️), but the outside grounds of the hotel and general view from the lobby are so breathtaking that they more than make up for the minimalist room. And honestly, you don’t go to Maui to stay in a hotel room. 😉 As an avid lap swimmer, the infinity pools were a huge bonus for me, and there were a few! No overcrowding. And you will not see a more gorgeous sunset. Overall, the only drawback was the cost, but it is such a magical place. I still fantasize about our trip, and I am hoping to save up to go again for an anniversary. You will not be disappointed!
This hotel was built in the 70s as a Stouffers hotel. It received a face lift in 2013. Also, it is not a private beach! There are no private beaches on Maui! The hotels plug on the beaches with their lounge chairs..... that’s why the locals go elsewhere! Thanks for the review though....it was nice to see my past work place for over 30 years! I drive by but won’t go in...too sad!🌺
Its not adults only however for families I recommend Hyatt regency Maui located over on Kaanapali side. There are so many fun, cute attractions/things to do for the kiddos.
Great video. Very helpful. Thanks!
We love the Andaz, and so glad we got to go last year!
Isn’t it great? We love it too!💕

Went here for our baby moon in 2019 and was the best place we have been on Maui!
i'm actually going with my parents in january and the best part is my moms work pays for it all 😳
Cute Mahalo for the video
Wow it looks beautiful I would love to go some day! Sadly the same room costs 2.3k/night now :(
Was the $47 PP breakfast only price per day as well or for the whole stay?
Hi! Yes it was per person per day! Thank you for watching! 🥰
I'm going next month

Is it a place for kids or only adults you think?

There are no private beaches in Hawaii, also it’s pronounced Oo koo le le (leaping flea)
