What is the Mokapu luau feast mean if you don’t mind sharing? If you stay at Andaz Maui do you have to pay $280 to attend the feast? Thanks for sharing such great content with us ❤
@@BevandRyanNo, never been. I had booked a trip for January 2024 in Kaanapali but not sure if I should cancel or stay in Wailea at this point due to the fires. I am sad for the people of Lahaina and Maui.
Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.
It’s a small property so you won’t have to do too much walking. I do believe that they have things in place to accommodate issues that you have since my elder parents went with us and didn’t have much issues getting around even with bad knee joints.
Interesting how the andaz formula plays out on a larger canvas. That being said, the maui fires and their devastation have been dominating the headlines, I can’t imagine what the victims are going through. Are you guys alright? Are you safe?

Yes, you still have to pay for the luau which is quite pricey!
Do you also pay for rides to and from airport? Or it’s complimentary. I’m planning my first trip to Hawaii Maui
@bern8378 we always rent a car in Maui. If you just want to stay at the resort, you can take an Uber.

This was September last year! It was pouring hard our first day. The streets were flooded, but no more rain after that! Have you been to Maui?

This video was from our stay last year so we are fine. We feel great sadness about what happened 😓
