It's as if Mozart composed this Violin Concerto No.5 for Bomsori Kim. I have searched and cannot find a better live performance rendition of this concerto anywhere. It's absolutely critical the conductor and orchestra, not just the soloist, have to be in synch as a cohesive unit, to produce the beautiful sound displayed here. Bravo!!!

A very unique Korean name meaning "Sound of Spring" for a beautiful and charming violinist. I'm a casual fan of classical music, and never heard this Mozart violin concerto until now. Bomsori is completely immersed in music and lives in it. Sometimes Bomsori extracts such human sounds from her violin that freezes the skin. And it feels that Bomsori can easily extract a musical phrase creatively, differently on the fly.

Of the five or so violin concertos composed by Mozart, this one is my favorite. Of the live performaces of this "Turkish" concerto available on TH-cam, this rendition by Bomsori is by far the best! Interestingly, I heard she will be performing this same concerto with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl tonight (Sept 5). I wish I could be there....

gran talento, unos dedos maravillosos y un oido elaborado... pero su único problema es la respiración... especialmente con estos violines históricos hay que tener una respiración que no interfiera con el sonido del violín, ya que no son violines eléctricos como los de ahora... y bomsori lleva su tiempo así... esa es la única razón por la que no ganó la wiesznasky y también la razón por la que no ganó casi nada... creo que es el talento koreano más pulido de la historia... pero ese problemita nasal adiciona notas en las performance...
