Bomsori is a rare talent, she is an undoubted miracle.
The fact that such a treasure appeared on our planet Earth is a miracle for all of us. Just seeing her is a great joy.
She puts her whole soul into music. Completely. Her playing is powerful. Her sense of proportion is amazing. Her tastes are impeccable, her understanding of a musical work (interpretation) is impeccable. All of this comes from what cannot be expressed in words. So much in a little graceful woman! Where does all this come from?
Not listening to her is impossible.
I first came acoss Bomsori around June this year (2023), and now I have watched just about all TH-cam videos featuring Bomsori, many times over. I also follow her on instagram. I could not help but notice you had left the most thoughtful comments full of plaudits for Bomsori. Just want to say I could not agree more with all your well-articulated praise of this most beautiful young worman who also happens to be a virtuoso violinist!
@@Love2Run I discovered Bomsori for the first time in March 2020 when the coronavirus quarantine was introduced. And then I could not resist writing comments, because her stunning violin playing penetrated very deep into the soul and left strong traces.
I tried to carefully see or understand what underlies Bomsori's rare human talent.
... That is, it cannot be said that I tried to create some kind of wave of applause (although I am also very happy about this if this happened).
@@mykolal6834 I believe what you and I have in common - many, many others as well no doubt - is that Bomsori Kim has captured our hearts in a manner beyond what can be articulated with words. Of course it all began with her “singing” through her violin but more than her violin virtuosity, it’s the person, her character, that got me hooked at a much deeper level. It does not hurt that she is blessed with a physical beauty, pretty face, dazzling smile like no other, but I believe her outward beauty simply reveals her inner beauty, her true character. I came to this conclusion after viewing many TH-cam videos of her interviews over the years. Some are in Korean language which works for me because I am an American of Korean heritage, and I know the language well enough. I’ve thought to myself how incredibly proud her parents must be because even I, a stranger far away, root for Bomsori in much the same way a loving father would for his daughter.

Yes, Bomsori has captured the hearts and souls of so many people. Bomsori involuntarily with her playing not only shows the human essence, but also affirms best human values. Yes, Bomsori always communicates with the world on the "wave" of humaneness.
Her violin playing technique is brilliant. However, her violin playing technique is never emphasized as an end in itself, but it serves as a means of expressing human values. The world of human values, which Bomsori unwittingly shows in her playing, incredibly strongly attracts a large number of people. And she herself cannot be perceived otherwise than as a living and intimate part of our soul and heart. And her popularity simply confirms that her creative work is incredibly relevant for every person.
In all Bomsori's performances sounds, in fact, the eternal human soul. Her vision (bright and optimistic) of the human soul seems to me rare and incredibly valuable for our dynamic time (especially now accelerated by technology and the Internet).
Where does Bomsori get this rare understanding, the wisdom of feelings, their depth and balance, the ability - with the help of her violin - to convey these feelings to the listener so completely and incredibly accurately?
And in general, how is it possible to rise to such heights of intuitive understanding of human values and human wisdom, which can sometimes take years (and maybe even a lifetime)?
It seems to me that the Heaven can give all this only to a genius.

Brahms would be proud of this rendition.
I have heard this violin concerto, probably my favourite, many many times but never performed better than here. Little Bomsori Kim is magnificent and the K.B. S Orchestra, under Yoel Levi, play superbly. What does surprise me is that this combination has not recorded together, they are impressive with all the "Big" concertos I think. Thank God for TH-cam!
There are many contenders but the brahms violin concerto in D major is the greatest when played like this.

Having a clear mind and a sensitive intelligent heart, Bomsori sincerely and accurately expresses the world of the soul and human feelings (or human essence). There is never anything superfluous in the sounds of her violin. She does not devalue her violin playing by technical virtuosity (to divert listeners' attention from the main thing, etc.). And here the question arises: why does music exist or should exist in the world at all?
And, perhaps, your question can also be asked differently: why does the jury of the competition evaluate the technical aspects of the playing more than the human aspects (which are always so clearly visible in Bomsori's violin playing)?
… The good thing is that heavy types of martial arts between contestants were not included in the competition program - boxing fights, wrestling, weight lifting, etc. (for tiny Bomsori, this could make the contest more difficult).
... Probably, after all, "something is wrong in this kingdom" of competitions.

It's so good that the conductor showed himself as a personality in his attitude towards Bomsori. Bomsori is a priceless soul in our modern world. Bomsori put all her extraordinary soul and heart into this performance.
And it's good that at the very end of the performance, the conductor so clearly expressed his gratitude for such the bright demonstration of live human talent of Bomsori.
It can be seen that during the concert he conducted the orchestra creatively, that is, not mechanically or formally. And at the end of the performance, he stepped off the conductor's pedestal and sincerely thanked Bomsori for her violin playing, which "stunned" and "melted" the hearts of all listeners.
