My first bottle of Old Forester was a Store Pick Barrell Strength and I absolutely love it. It's sitting just above 130 proof. Hopefully it doesn't ruin it for me on their regular line up. Just got the 1924 a couple weeks ago but haven't cracked it yet. Good huntin!

Your spot got some dope bottles! Kentucky Spirits are pretty good, esp if you find certain rick houses. Also the Frey Ranch Bourbons's are fire! The store picks and the reg. Strength uncut. Love the craft whiskeys more and more.

The speculation around OGD 114 going away is that they would make more money by selling those barrels to a company looking to source from them, at a higher price than what they are worth by selling those same barrels as OGD 114

I wish I could find some of that Evan Williams small batch American Hero Edition. That and Eagle Rare would be perfect for today! OGD Bonded and 114 are pretty interchangeable to me. I would be sad if the 114 is in fact being discontinued. It makes a good mixer and is a decent sipper on ice.

The Representative and The Senator are pretty different, as one is a straight bourbon and the other a straight rye whiskey. Both solid but differ on the palate.

$102 for Old Louisville is a great price. I see it for $150. I did not realize that Fortuna is a Rare Character bottle until recently. OF SB BS are fantastic. I have 8 different ones and an SLB Drinks bottle that is 133.4 proof is so good and does not drink it’s proof. 🥃

Evan Williams BiB is ok, blind it against Benchmark Bonded, I think the Benchmark wins, and it can be found for under $20.

I wouldn't put to much into the 114 OGD going away. Beam has to know how popular it is and makes zero sense. And if everyone panicked buy it will generate a very big profit for them and this has happened before and nothing happened.

I saw that same video by Bourbon Real Talk about the discontinuing of Old Grand Dad 114 I think what Beam is trying to do is just get rid of inventory and then rebrand it under a different label😒🥃 by the way I'm not biggest fan of 114 too spicy and get gingerbread on palate I have to be in the mood by far not my fav Beam product
