That Peerless DO is super 🔥! I'm def a fan of the Tobacco + Leather note with this one. They have a DO RYE as well that's good. Great review and tasting notes! 🥃

Sipping on a Redwood Pipe Dream cask strength as I watch. So far, I can only find the Peerless double oak rye in my area…still hunting for the bourbon.

Nice review. I am not surprised this bottle came first in the polls. I know I voted for it. One of the guys in the bourbon FB group I am part of sent me multiple samples. The Peerless DO was one of them and I loved it. Probably one of my top 5 bourbons so far that I have tasted and definitely my favorite double oaked. Unfortunately, this bottle has not reached MA yet. I would have to drive to CT to get one. Hoping it comes to MA eventually.

I’m not the biggest double oak fan. I’ve tried several, but I finally got a Peerless and it is very easy. Yes, it’s pricey, but I will always try to have one on my bar.

Peerless is grossly over-priced. Shameful vote - Larceny deserves much more respect - especially since A123

recently they were dropped around Atlanta...after watching few reviews, I passed on it...sagamore double oaked seems to have better review...you should do a double oaked blind test...

Peerless is overpriced. I’m sticking with Woodford Double Oaked store picks at $65. I can find the standard ones on sale for $50. The Peerless DO go for $90-$100 in my area. Too much! Cheers and thanks for the opinion.

Good video but I don’t think you should try to expect something. Have a drink and tell us what you taste. Once you start expecting something from your drink you’re already putting thoughts of what it should taste like instead of what it actually taste like. But hey you do you just my 2 cents

Peerless is one of the few double oaks that I enjoy. Almost impossible to find near me, but the next time I see it I'll buy three or four bottles. Cheers

Solid video but a few suggestions. The Knob Creek BouRye is a blend of bourbon and rye. Knob Creek just released there 10 Year Rye. Would also suggest you do a blind to make things a little more suspenseful. Hearing stuff is good on the internet is only as good until you taste it for yourself and see how they compare to your pallet. Cheers
