Dinamarca con los hermanos Laudrup y Peter Schmeichel era un equipazo, el dream team danés. Denmark with the Laudrup brothers and Peter Schmeichel was superb, Denmark's dream team.
Denmark had a better dream team in th 80's It was so big that a newspaper joked with it." Behind every championship in Europe is a danish star player." And it was almost true. Beside Laudrup was people like Allan Simonsen, Soeren Lerby, Preben Elkjær, Morten Olsen, Frank Arnesen, Jan Møby, Ivan Nielsen, Søren Busk, Jesper Olsen. plus plus many more. The attacking flair of that team was Skye high, off the chats, They were also called the Brazil's of Scandinavia. They did not fight a match, they smashed teams with tennis scores. They could play a match with only first touches passes. Totally make the opponents irrelevant. But was not really allowed to do it, duo to that there will be retaliations by the opponents.
@@sbman73 Un experienced in endgames. They were their own worst enemy. They called Spain a bad spirit, due to they lost in the semi final 1984. And they believed in it. Laudrup thought they were better. A self fullfilling prophecy. From the Spain perspective The Dane's Coach made a fatal player exchange mistake, when the game was 1-1. He change a very fit Henrik Andersen out, who succelfully stopped the Spains wing, with a midfielder. The spain could raid that wing and come behind the defences. Then the danes panic and all falled apart. symbolicly started with one player made a dissaster pass to a Spain Attacker in front of the Danes goal. Since he went into a defensive role, when he was an offensive player. The next generation succelfully won over Spain, and they had way lesser "Starplayers".
Tbonyandsteak i’m very curious about how the 92’ squad was more successful tournament wise than the 86’ one. Denmark seriously had a world class squad and I think deserved to win the world cup that year.
@@sbman73 the other nations totally underestimated the Danes. The perfectionist thinks absolutely nothing of. "With out any starplayers","totally un prepared". "Not qualified" None of it were true and they went in for a totally surprise. They were not god as the previously genetion, BUT they were very god in defence and in counter attacks. A generation that starting beating Brazil it self with 4-0 in a friendly. It was the perfect setup. They had 3 very good starplayers. Laudrup, Flemming Poulsen and Smeichel. They were not that unprepared and they were still very fit. And the team spirit was high with mostly all players from one club. The worst thing you can do is to underestimate a vey good counter attacking team. The truth was none of the previously EUChampions was prepared for the new generation team of Denmark. Every team under estimated them. The 80 team smashed big teams with huge scores, so mostly every team played ultra defensive against them. Every body knew they were good and if they did not play well, they will lose with large scores.

Dinamarca con los hermanos Laudrup y Peter Schmeichel era un equipazo, el dream team danés.
Denmark with the Laudrup brothers and Peter Schmeichel was superb, Denmark's dream team.
Denmark had a better dream team in th 80's
It was so big that a newspaper joked with it." Behind every championship in Europe is a danish star player."
And it was almost true.
@@Tbonyandsteak How did they lose 5-1 to Spain then? Such a weird result
"Not qualified"
None of it were true and they went in for a totally surprise.
Football fans who watch this position will understand how special it is. please watch:) between, 1:20 -- 1:26
