Pete Fleischmann of Co-production Works. (coproductionwo.... Pete, who is the former head of co-production at SCIE (www.scie.org.uk/) gives his description of what co-production is. It is different to presenting people with a plan and asking for opinions. It's not about "fighting the system", it is about embracing and recognising all of our skills. "If you are not at the table you are on the menu!".
Co-production Ambassador Nat explains the benefits when people and their expertise are involved throughout. You only get out as good as what you put in.
This series is about embracing the ideal that co-production can start anywhere - even when two (or more) people have a chat over a cup of tea.
