This is a great video. There are too few of these. Honda Harmony tractors disappeared it seems. I have mine for 27 years. I think I need to replace the starter solenoid so will have to remove the body. This video was helpful.
Now that I have actually down the work on my Honda I would add a few things which might be beneficial for this video going forward. One is that the handle for the throttle does NOT have to be removed because that whole mechanism is attached to the body. Also there is a metal yoke or gusset plate which surrounds the steering wheel shaft that can be left attached to the body. The biggest item is the throttle cable which isn't that easy to remove if you have never done it before. In addition there is a whole in frame where that cable has to go when putting the body back on. If you get the body on and that cable does not pass through that hole you are going to have to remove enough of the fasteners on the body to reach the cable and force it through the hole. My bad that i didn't see that. I have the cuts to prove it.
I'd be willing to buy that plastic frame you removed. I have one of these and have used it with zero issues for 25 years but the plastic frame did crack near the seat. 🙂
Not a bad job "for a chick." I've done it, too, and the fiddly bits you have to take off are a real pain in the old arse. I thought I'd point out that calling the ignition "switch" ( 4:35 ) a "starter relay" was erroneous and a bit silly but you're learning here, so you get a pass. I do hope you cleaned the ignition switch spades ( connectors ) cause they were really crudded out. Cheerio !
