- This song has always been a favourite of mine, that's why I had the main fictional character in one of my novels sing it in a Dusty Springfield style as a 'coming out' appearance with a local band in 1967 Guernsey.

If God made a sweeter more soulful voice, he certainly kept it to himself.
Oh man
RIP to a man with one of the finest voices in popular music. This particular song -- pure mastery.
We were blessed indeed and God was much closer to us. I don't know why God has forsaken us.
They aren't making Black men like Johnny Nash anymore.
This guy is one of those who jus slipped under the radar. but was just as talented as the rest.
Mr. Nash you will be remembered for a million years and more! A million thanks for your music!
❤ I love this music .Thanks to our Mom .She played records all the time and sing and dance along .❤
That man is extremely talented and good-looking.
Always one of my favourite tunes. Never heard Johnny Nash sing it. RIP. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing voice. Always be missed
VERY beautiful song this guy had such a wonderful voice
Hello Diane
How are you doing today?
Surely one of the most beautiful voices of 20th and 21st century.
The prince of peace album is always a great listen 🥹😘 Johnny Nash!! Every record is a masterpiece!! 🥰🥳
Legendary voice for a million+ years
I looked at this because I stumbled upon the fact that Johnny recorded, of all things, the theme song of the the 1960's cartoon Hercules. I've got to say, now that I really hear him, I'm surprised that he was not more famous in his day. He did have a hit in 1972, I Can See Clearly Now.
He had a few hits in the 70s, Stir it up, Tears on my Pillow, There are more Questions than Answers, Hold me Tight. I loved Johnny in the 70s. A handsome man with a great voice ❤
RIP Johnny. Hold Me Tight I Can See Clearly Now... sweet memories of my youth. In 1966 The Casinos did the original recording for Then you can tell me goodbye. Although it wasn't a huge radio hit
Man! this guy really was a great talent !!
Never herd this song before, but so glad to have come across this, it’s superb 🛵
Yeah, I'm only back on this guy , because He was truly special, But like most things in life, its only when they die, that we suddenly find, they were special human beings.
Very beautiful the singer I loved your music
Such a handsome man with an incredible voice 😊
Classical Johnny...
Rest In Paradise, sir!
LOVE THE WAY JOHNNY SINGS IT SO GOOD, GREAT OLDIE SONG TO DANCE AWAY SLOW BEAT IN LOVE
"IF YOU MUST GO, BABY, I WON'T GRIEVE
BUT JUST WAIT A LIFE TIME BEFORE YOU LEAVE
THEN IF YOU MUST GO I WON'T SAY NO NO NO
BUT JUST SO THAT WE CAN SAY WE TRIED"
Tell me you love me for a million years if it don't work out then we can say goodbye . That is true love
A million years that's a long time
One of my favorite singers with enormous talent. Thank you for sharing. Johnny was a very talented actor as well.
💖✨✨✨
Absolutely beautiful!
best version surely one of the sweetest voices ever just outstanding. RIP Boss
His beautiful voice and music get me all emotional .
I'm with you all the way. Johnny and his music is an addiction I will never recover from.
I Love you and your music, Mr. Nash.
What a lovely voice. Man's got me swooning over here 😅
Goodbye Mr. Nash 😞
RIPP dear Johnny Nash
Smooth and classy Johnny Nash!!!
He was absolutely Great, listening to him since 60’s
1964 a great year for music. The Beatles invaded, the Supremes wondered why did our love go, the 4 Tops needed your loving, Beach Boys got around and Manfred Mann just was Do Wah Diddy Diddy.
YES , MANFRED MANN .-
That was the beauty of the period. You heard everything on top 40 radio...didn't matter what genre of music it leaned towards. You heard it all and got a well rounded introduction to popular music from instrumentals to this beautiful melodic style. That's called a well rounded musical education.
One of the greatest under-rated vocalists.
Listened to other versions but this is by far the best
Cosmo.....im listening bro..I can picture Bob Marley singing this ...RIP Bob and Johnny
He was so spectacular. RIP. ❤❤❤
Rest in peace dear Johnny, loved you loads great voice and music to dance too, what a legend xxx
Hello Dear
How are you doing today?
what a voice
Soo incredible…if doesn’t bring a tear to your eyes or elicit any emotion, then you are a robot
Wow, I've never heard Johnny Nash's rendition of this song -- and I grew up in this era! I'm so surprised I'm just finding this now, in 2024. It is a fantastic version! I like it better than the Casinos' version, even on the first listen. Nash had a wonderful voice. 🌟🎵
P.S. I still love hearing Johnny Nash's 'I Can See Clearly Now'. I didn't realize, though, how underappreciated he was in the industry. He should have been a much bigger star with this soulful voice and his good looks...
I discovered the Casinos version this morning and by this evening it’s lead me to the Johnny Nash version, I have to say I agree with you, I too think this earlier version by Johnny Nash is a lot better. He has more soul in his voice, he’s more real.
Beautiful songs!! Rip!!
Great music. Slow to speak with sincerity
