Schecter is awesome. I bought a 1300$ hell raiser over a decade ago and it's still rock solid like new. Their rece guitars as of late are just incredible at any price, and they're cranking out some great lefties for us "backwards" players 😅
I had a Banshee 7 a few years ago and it had all the high end specs: Ebony board, Locking Tuners, Hipshot style bridge and Seymour Duncan’s. Great budget stuff.
Wait a couple of months, until they pop up used on reverb or some other online market place and get a second hand one. Right now, reverb has some nice C-1 and Banshee models on sale for a good price, incl. the C-1 SLS Elite with the Sustainiac,Fishman Fluence and that cool faded color.
@@greekfreak1980 that's the exact one I have and its my favorite guitar ever!!!!!! I love schecter, best brand by far for the price. Ibanez and Jacksons have always looked cheap to me, and they don't have nearly as much variety of pickups, inlays, and overall designs like schecter has to choose from for guitars.
I just found one of these at G Center and for the price ( used ) it’s a amazing guitar , I never knew the Shecters were this nice , definitely more guitar for you’re money and the quality is unbelievable
I ordered this last week from Sweetwater. Ordered the Fallout Burst color. Was hesitant about buying a Korean model but I’ve had a C1-Elite for close to 20 years and love that guitar. So it seems the quality on there guitars despite being a Korean model has gotten better! 🤟🏽🤘🎸
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this one. I have a Schecter Omen Extreme FR and absolutely love it. The omen has incredible pickups, binding on the body, neck and the quilted maple color matched headstock. One of my favorite features are the fret inlays..they're a v shape in pearloid with abalone "behind" the pearloid. In addition, nobody would ever need a first fret inlay...jeez, now which one is the first fret??" However, it looks freakin amazing having the inlays on the first fret! Everything about the Schecter is awesome and based on that, based on my experience owning a Schecter, I'm thing to pull the trigger on this guitar sight unseen, neck untouched, and strings unplucked.
I loved my MK-7 Evertune when it came, but when I took it in to have it inspected, there was a twist in the neck, 5 frets were crooked and there was delams on the neck. I had to return it but I was still impressed with the guitar for what it was.
How does this neck compare to the ESP thin U necks? Thinner? Looking at this model but I really cannot do the think wizard Ibby necks. The ESP thin U's are pretty good though.
I nearly got this last week but instead got a solar A1.6 baritone with fishman pickups..... I’m a sucker for fishman😅 Love my Ibanez RG5121 prestige and the solar will be replacing my Jackson soloist pro NLights
What new guitar do you recommend I get. I got a synyster gates custom s guitar and a demon 6. I've been looking at ibanez jackson and more schecter including solar
Doctor I do love the S.Gates custom, I’m jealous 😁. Firstly depends on budget. Never think an expensive guitar means quality, Jackson proves that imo. Don’t get me wrong, the USA Jackson’s are quality but overpriced for the electronics etc included. I just received my solar and right out of the box the quality was top notch. For a £1.2k guitar the frets was beautiful and slightly better the my £1.5k Ibanez japan made prestige 😑. While I’m pleased I’m still shocked that solar got fret finish so perfectly for the price range. I will say I’m now a fan of solar and will likely get another solar when needed over an Ibanez unless they can top it. Currently I recommend solar. (Best on price for the quality extras been a standard) * prestige fret finish on my A1 without the guitar costing over £1.2k. (A1/ E.1/ S.1 etc are top line so should be same quality) * mine came with fishman but most usually come with custom 5 ‘Seymour D’ solar pickups (they are great too) * usually have strap locks as a standard * reverse headstock as a standard with locking tuners * smooth neck for fast sliding (no gloss) also a very comfortable C shape (not quite Ibanez but not thick Gibson) * price for the quality (also the volume is recessed making it look flushed to the body👌) again mine had push pull because fishman pickups. While I love Ibanez I have to say solar is outstanding in quality. Came with a gig bag (would like a case but they do sell them), well boxed for delivery with no issues (UPS are getting better 🤣) & again those frets are beautiful
Ultra slim like Ibanez Neck slim? Trying to decide on this one or the Reaper (I'll have to upgrade pups) This one is a KM Ultra Thin U vs the Reapers Thin C. How similar is this Thin U vs ESP or Ibanez?
I almost literally stole ( bought very cheaply ) an original Banshee Floyd Rose model with the JB bridge and Jazz neck pickups ( stock option at the time )!!!! By far the biggest steal of a guitar you can buy. Mine is a 2013 model with an ebony compound radius fretboard, natural wood binding on the neck and body, a real FR bridge ( not the flagship version but their second-best 1000 series model ), and It also has coil splitting with Grover tuners. The fit and finish are absolutely amazing and it plays easily and you can go ham with the FR and it will come back in perfect tune. At the time of release, it was about a $1,300 guitar and I think it is very easily worth a $1,500 price tag. I picked mine up for less than $600 and it was in like-new condition! It is my second Schecter and my first one ( an 8 string Damien Elite series ) was also priced very well. I think Schecter is offering amazing value for the money and despite the cheesy cross inlays on some models are really great guitars.
Nice Alice In Chains Them Bones solo! I want a guitar like that with the slim neck profile and the nut width is smaller and sounds good and the strings looks easy to bend. Can’t stand these cheaper guitar where you can hardly bend the strings because the tension is too tight and the strings just fret out
I currently have a Schecter c-1 platinum. Great guitar, especially considering it was on sale new for 399 when I got it, so basically deal of the century. I've just always liked schecter and come back to them. I'm finally ready to buy my first high end guitar (high end for me is anything over 1300 or so bucks). And after MUCH looking around i still come back to Schecter. So Fluff what would you choose between the Banshee Mach 6, the KM-6 Hybrid and the KM-6 artist?
Merrow inspired aesthetic. I love it. It looks awesome! I'm glad Schecter is putting different pickups in than typical and that neck pickup sounded fantastic
Schecter has knocked it outside the park with these Banshee's... Alotta coin for a Korean built axe but I can't help myself....where is that BUY button!!
I got a 2007 Schecter C-1 Exotic star used for $400 in 2017 and it's the best damn guitar I've seen, played and held. Everything about it was JUST right and it fit my hands, my person and my tastes perfectly. It screamed throatily when I wanted it to; and give me pleasantly airy, smooth cleans with coil tap. I love this company.
Years ago I wanted to get back into guitars and a buddy of mine who used to tour back in the 70s told me he was going to hook me up. He gave me a Shecter PT. Shoot it has to pretty old now. Its not like my other strats. Never got another Schecter but would consider it. Thanks for bringing this video to us.
Are those Lundgrens more balanced than the Seymour Duncan Black Winters? I want to swap the latter out of my KM-6 for something that's also 'metal' but not painfully bright
I recently purchased this guitar and I find the m6 in this particular guitar a bit harsh and over the top. I would say if you put the m6 in a darker sounding guitar like maybe mahogany body , it would shine. Just seems too bright, and lacks a bit of meat on letting big chord ms ring out. It is great for palm muting and chugging for sure. I am waiting on a Bareknuckle holy diver to throw in the m6 place. The alnico v Bareknuckle should warm it up a bit. Just my two cents. 🤘
Speaking about the devil, can we have the Schecter's PT Fastback 2020 with dual Diamond UltraTron pickups reviewed? That'd be awesome. Thanks for the video, good as usual!
Hola and hello sir. I've only just realized your channel pretty recently, and I've become a big fan. I really enjoy your reviews and look to your opinion for what I might dream of having one day. Your personality and the fact that the first video of yours i saw, you were wearing a Fat Wreckords shirt had me sold. It depends. If you’re gonna stick with one tuning, then I’d absolutely get an evertune. It’s very refreshing to pick up the guitar the next day and it still be perfectly in tune.

Great video Fluff! I like this guitar but I think you can get possibly get an ibanez of similar quality for about $500 less. Actually, there is quite a few guitars that play just as good for a decent amount less. Just my two cents on the price. Still, awesome guitar and video demo, thank you!
I’d disagree (and I love Ibanez) lately they’ve been putting those Fusion Edge pups in their mid/ higher end guitars. Rare to find stainless frets at under $1500.
I just ordered the 7 frs off reverb. Couldn’t find it anywhere else. Can’t wait I love my C7 MS SLS Elite so much. Have had a c1 Hellraiser for a decade and just picked up a stiletto stealth 5 bass. Love my schecters.
