well this shows that boat life isn't always fun sailing and playing in the water; glad you got it fixed.

Thx, we're glad it worked too! "Sailing TH-cam" slants toward the glamour and fun, but real, daily sailboat life would probably not be easy to record or fun to watch...or would it?

Not all rainbows and beaches. Great work and thanks for showing us the two underwater epoxies 👍

Haha yeah. When I applied J-B Weld WaterWeld to my broken underwater pool tile, and held it for 15 minutes, as instructed to set up, it fell off the wall in one minute. When I retrieved the tile, the putty just peeled off clean. What a waste of time! I have used it 5 years ago and that tile is still stuck to the wall. Either they changed the formula, or I kneaded it too long, past the effective sticking time. I will try it again. If it doesn’t work, I switch to your recommended product. Thanks for that!

Yep, it just fell off. I hope it works for you on the second time!

Thanks brother. I ordered some of that stuff. Would not want to be in a situation where I need to use it. But good to know it works!

Yes, hopefully, the only time you have to use it is the lend it to a fellow sailor!

JB Weld is a joke. Never had good results from any them. Impressed with the All Fix! Gonna get some myself. Thanks!

It was a bit unbelievable how fast the All Fix adhered and cured. Great stuff

I have a tendency to disagree. JB Weld works great for specific problems. It is at its best when you are plugging holes that you need a quick cure for. It can be pushed inside the hole, and it sets up like steel. I would never use it for anything that it had to adhere to, though. I do think they oversell it's abilities when it comes to that.

On a sailboat you have to be ready for everything. That sure didn't look like a job for duct tape!

Funny thing is, we have lots of duct tape for ad-hoc repairs, but we didn't have any underwater epoxy...Lesson Learned.

@@TheFosterJourney There is no way you can ever have everything you might need or else you'd have to have a supply boat following you.

Yikes, I bet you were chopping at the bit to get her on the hard and permanently fix that.

Oh yes. Every other day, Matt was checking the shaft and diving down to check the repairs to make sure we're still good.
