    I have used this in several aquariums. Most of the time it works great, even when it is applied under water.
    I did have one time recently where it came loose from the glass of the aquarium. I have no idea why it happened that time and no others.
    So I guess it has worked for me 95% of the time.

    Thistles, or what we call sand burrs? What we call sand burrs are the nastiest little thorns in the world!

    Piggys as like you said they eat the roots. . But you'll probably have to landscape the whole field when they are done.😂 plus Arthur will have some friends

    Go for the pigs. Btw pity you cant swap the bolts in tank for stainless, the plain steel expand with rust and crack the plastic, but i bet you already know that

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      The designers should have thought of that... Or maybe they did and it's just planned obsolescence 😣

    Pig's will turn the field into a giant mud patch, goats will turn it into a desert. What about a couple of donkeys? Google tells me thistles were Eeyore's favourite food.

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't like horses and I'm not sure donkeys are included in that 😂maybe I need to visit some haha that would mean I'd have to build a big stable and I'd have to get 2 donkeys by which time I might as well start a sanctuary 😂

    Goats, definitely goats. Sure, pigs will dig them up but they really make a mess. Goats on the other hand just keep eating whatever comes up and eventually the plant can’t survive without light. They are also quite selective in that they don’t eat grass as such, but prefer to eat all the weeds.

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      I like the idea of goats being selective 🐐 I wonder if I need to get more than 2 🤔

    Pigs will fertilize but goats leave less of a mess.

      That is true. I do kinda want to build houses for 3 little pigs though 😂 one made of brick...

    Who puts bolts through a container that needs to be watertight?????? Is that a bodged repair or "designed like that" ? Should be strapped to the trailer with metal bands, could even use a couple of ratchet straps.

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      😂 They're not actually through the container, just set within small moulded voids. But that's as bad as just having bolts going through cause the bolts just crack the plastic over time. You're right, straps would have been a much better design 👍

      I can see now I’ve got my glasses on and yes only one possible outcome with that less than optimal design. Good Luck 🐖

      @@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT you'd be surprised, they mow every single day so it never gets big enough to stop them going along. Used on lots of farms.

    Goat pig are good but they will dog everything up and you won’t have any grass only mud

    Thumbs down for the chemicals

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      I know I know, I'd rather not really. It just seems impossible to control the creeping thistle without them. There's something unsettling about seeing the chemicals sprayed on the farms round here, I still don't buy organic though 😑

  • @danielwilliams4007
    @danielwilliams4007 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    If you keep cutting the field as short as you can once every 7-10 days the thistles will eventually be suppressed by the grass regrowth. Nuking the field with chemicals is going to be worse for the dog in the long run. Also, don’t stick your hand in a spray tank without gloves on and long sleeves. Even when they’re dry, the residual Glyphosate powder can get onto/into your skin. It’s highly carcinogenic - if you film yourself doing it again I’ll hit unsubscribe 😂

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like a full time job on my little ride on 😂
      I'd keep Arthur out of the field for a good couple of weeks if I sprayed. You'll be pleased to hear I've never used glyphosate based herbicides 😉 I purposely avoided them. I'd rather not be spraying the field really, the creeping thistle is relentless though 😣
