Beautiful work, Rob! Thank you for sharing it with us. My first love will always ever be the Connie refit, but I enjoyed your variants, as well. The only thing I missed was the Phase II version of the ship (that design has really grown on me over the years). Thanks again! Marvelous work!
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely greatly Spectacularly wonderfully well done and executed in every detail way shape and format provided on the various different Starship Enterprises of the Constitution Class Variants of Startrek, A job very nicely fabulously well done indeed Sir!👌.
I'm pleased by how much your NX Constitution class looks like the model I made. NX 01 re-refit. Beautiful work on all of them. I also love the Robillard Constitution. Perfect blend. Chef's kiss.
@@MrRmcconnell Do you mean a cgi rendering of the NX 01 re-refit? That would be so awesome. It's the 1000 scale model kit but I made the refit parts myself. I also did the SNW Enterprise refit which is why I appreciate these designs so much. Keep it up. I love to see other people's take on these ship designs. My channel is called Trekmods because I have a mission to refit everything.
I have models of the strange new worlds version of the enterprise and Constitution class as a whole and I really like your take on the constitution class as well. The combination of the refit and strange new worlds. I wish you had the assets to either download or for people to buy it so they can either do their own renders or 3-D print them.
Robert you have improved so much since the first time i saw you nearly 4 years ago, i am so glad to see your projects getting so good. all i can say is rock on!!!
Nice. I have a suggestion for your next project... B5 Hyperion cruiser / TOS Constitution mashup. Could do a whole alt dimension B5/TOS ST mashup series. Earth Alliance - UFP, Narn - Klingons, Centauri - Romulans, Minbari - Vulcan, Drazi - Gorn, Brakiri - Faringi, Dilgar - Cardassians. Jus a thought. Can't wait to see what you do next.
I have a Star Trek movies question. If you have space stations big enough to contaon a dozen starships, why construct or refit starships in a gantry floating kilometers away in open space? Seems more logical to construct inside the base as thats where the repair/construction crews are...and protects the unarmed, undeflected ships from raids or meteorites. This would avoid ferrying parts and workers outside the station. Makes sense when you had stations like that in Tribbles, but by Movie 3 it seemed illogical as you had orbiting space ports of call. Like refitting an aircraft carrier out in the bay or at sea during WW2, while you had plenty of dock and drydock space wight there at base.
These are absolutely gorgeous! Question: Does it take you as long to do these renderings just as long for a model kit build? Thank you for sharing your talents, sir.😊 -Jim
It takes me longer to build CG models. I loved building model kits, but in my hands shake to much anymore from an old neck injury to do it anymore. All of these I had already built, so it was just setting up new scenes and rendering them.
Nice apart from the J.J. Stuff. One thing always puzzled me about the Buzzard Engine Intakes, Why they were on the TOS ships then Not on the motion picture refit then none of the ships until the Enterprise C come along then all the Ships had them again? Very odd. I mean if they were done a set way with the red intake dome with multi flashing lights in the dome, Why did it change to non red intake until the C then all had it again! Talking in tech terms the Buzzard collector domes would still be there in some form or other to do the job needed of Hydrogen gas collection from space which is the system.
The movie era ships are assumed to have collectors, they are just of a different aesthetic design. It is mentioned that Enterprise Refit had some entirely new designs, so the tech may have been a bit different. It was deployed across the fleet. Then as tech continued toeevolve, at some point they went with the red collectors and exposed blue warp field coils, which do look pretty different but are evocative of older designs. So, it's just style and technology really.
When I think of the Star Trek Enterprise. The original from Star Trek The original series is the one that I think of. Not the D fron the next Generation ,not the Enterprise from the show Enterprise, not anything else. Also, i think Paramount would have made more money from the pruposed TV series than they did from the movies.

Is that your design? I couldn't find who designed it. I think it is a great looking design. I had to make the model and add it to the video!

Robzilla. Not Robillard. I hate auto correct. Sorry
