    I am a convert as well. I bought the original Cycplus unit a couple of years ago, then purchased the Pro Max this past year. The Pro Max died on me after about 6 months, would not hold a charge. They have a 1 year warranty so I emailed the company. They had me send a video of the codes on the device display and then promptly shipped a replacement unit. Absolutely fabulous customer service.

      Thanks for your experience! The verdict on these e-pumps have been out for a while. Just happy to provide my own (position) contribution haha

    these things are PERFECT for race days. I race a lot of cx and mtb and these things are a game changer for making pressure adjustments on location. I used to have a diy ryobi inflator but its big and heavy and the pump head I used is total ass. These mini inflators fit perfectly in a race day duffel and have plenty of battery for making adjustments. For cx practices I will ride to the location, drop my pressure by A LOT, and then these are a nice way to fill my tires back up for the road ride home. I also use an airbank mini for rides and it fits perfect in my jersey and no complaints!

      "drop my pressure by A LOT, and then these are a nice way to fill my tires back up for the road ride home." - This is a very intuitive way to use these pumps. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for watching!

    Definitely thumbs up on this device. Most excellent tip on using the AS2 Pro with the hose, I have not been taking the hose with me. The AS2 is a no brainer with PSI gauge and the much better battery life indicator. I purchased AS2 early on thanks to China Cycling and then upgraded and gave the spouse the AS2 (smart?). Pro tip (lol) is to definitely check the battery level in the device the night before. Also recommend practice using it at home before needing it on the road. @PatrickLino Sunday cycling videos much better than da Bears.

    The one thing id like to see on the next model is an overide button. If you have a clog with sealant, it can over max the pump and it wint push it out. The lower end version that is just on off will work but the mid and top model that are max 120 psi will shutoff and not clear the clog. There should be a mode that is just on, so you can clear a selant clog in the valve stem.

      Great point. I'd also like a feature where the device can recognize if the tire isn't properly inflating....before running the battery into overtime and subsequently prematurely draining the battery power.

    Mini pump says hi, Lighter and more reliable.
    Also while this is more compact, a mini pump has a more slender profile which fits perfectly in a Leyzene or Maverick wallet.

      For an all day gravel adventure where I'm not concerned about weight or sleekness, I'd most likely still carry a pump for redundancy.

    I’m using the Gen1 of the e-pump. For the first tire with abt 90psi it’s all good in the neighborhood. But flat number two on the same ride will only give you at best another 80 PSI on a 28 tire. Also not knowing the pressure properly is also not for control freaks 🤣

    Ill be honest ive never wanted to try co2 or electric inflators, a nice little minipump is so light, quick and has infinite air for those times where you have to nurse a slow leak pumping up every 10km or so

      @sebastianm2381 I'm glad they exist, lots of people seem to like them. Especially since they make cycling more accessible to more people less physically capable, maybe with reduced hand strength or capability

    Looks like a good product. I'm tempting fate, but I don't think I need this. I've been using tubeless on every bike for five years and I've never flatted a tubeless setup. Ever. My inflator cartridges have rusted they are so old and the tubes get worn out in the saddle bag before I ever use them.

    Battery degrades over time. Let’s see how well it fares in the long run. I am very sure our mini pumps have lasted more than 5 years and they still work as fine as they did when we first bought them.

    • @PatrickLino
      @PatrickLino  11 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Thankfully I didn't throw away my physical pump. And I've probably only had to charge my Cycplus pump maybe 3-4 times a year. Should last 5+ years at this rate.
