Mine should be here tomorrow and will be installing next weekend. As a 10+ year Honda Master Tech, I have always really appreciated the quality products you all put out. Have used them on EVERY build. Keep it up guys!!
Just purchased this short shift assembly and super excited to install it in the coming days! Just looking for feedback for those of you who have already installed this assembly. Did you use position #1 or #2?
Is anyone running this shifter WITH the Hybrid Racing detent springs? I currently have them installed, but it was suggest to put those back to oem when paired with this shifter.
Installed today in my 22 Civic Si and car would not start after install. Finally got the message 'To start, touch start button with emblem side of remote'. That worked but I have to go thru that process every time to start the car. Any idea what I screwed up ?
Has anyone had issues with the stock shifter sometimes doesn't shift so smoothly especially when going to reverse i heard that this is a common iss with the 22 si and if so does switching to the short shifter resolve this issue ?
Our stock shifters are plastic and mounted to a metal bracket which mounts to the body of the car, the shifter base bushings go in between those two pieces. The Hybrid Racing shifter is all one piece that directly bolts to the body, so you wouldn’t need the base bushings. If you’re talking about the cable bushings, I would still get those so you can feel where each gear is more easily & the detent springs to stiffen up how easily it goes in to gear 👍🏼

What is the difference in throw percentage between position #1 and #2
I have a 22 si and does the leather stay on or you have to take it off
Awesome install video, straightforward and easy! Is there a shift knob or shift boot included with the shifter?
No, only the shifter and mounting hardware are included. We have a ton of options for the boots and knobs though!

Go back and make sure the keyless entry sensor is plugged in. It's on the right side of the shifter.
Can you use the stock shift boot and knob comfortably I want to get this and still use the stock boot/knob
Yes you can!
@@hybridracing thanks! you know what I’m getting myself for Christmas now lol
Great stuff guys
What about the shifter boot really don’t want to just have a huge hole in the center
The shift boot and all other factory parts are 100% compatible.
Are those seat covers? If so where can I buy them? Thx
They are factory seats in the Civic Si.
Unfortunately my red HR shifter has faded quiet bad. I can't figure it out.
Feel free to email us so our team can check it out! Support@hybrid-racing.com
@@hybridracing nah it's ok. Shes still perfectly workable. Just find it odd, Considering it's Ireland and not crazy amounts of sunlight.

i have an 23 si, are you still rolling forward when shifting in to reverse?
@@angelperalto5880I got a 24 si and I come to a full stop and haven’t really had issues
Do I need to buy bushing aswell or are they not needed since the swap
