The reverse lockout notch faces the left side of the car when installed. It can only go in one way, so if it is backward, you will need to remove the main ball cup and rotate it. You can also reference steps 15-18 in the install guide on our website.
Could you please tell me the diameter of the poles (the shift lever end and shift knob end)? Thinking to raise the shift knob position even higher but I need to know what material I should choose. Thank you!
Like all mods, making something better is subjective because you can only decide that. We design parts that we like in ways we feel improve the driving experience. So to answer your question, to us, this shifter makes the car more enjoyable to drive.
