      No. Only because the “hump” is significantly different than the 43x with the Glock 19 style grip and bump. Glock needs to make a 26x and a 42x

    I think the G26 is still the best concealed carry option today. For me it’s almost possible to dethrone. I’ve never shot another 9mm that is the same size that was as easy to shoot or reliable as the 26 is.

    Best grip and control I’ve ever felt in a subcompact 9. Slimmer subs are cool but they often have longer grips, which always stick out or print when carrying concealed, but with the stubby grip of a 26 is easy to stay low and in and remain hidden better.

    I own the 26 and have carried it with a G17 backup mag every.single.day since 2008. I also own the 43, 42, 19, and used to own the 23 and 27. I shoot the double stack Glocks Sao much better, the 26 is actually smaller than the 43...and WAY smaller than the 43X and the 42 is just not made it outside of the range for even 1 day for me. I actually own and carry a SW 442 as a backup, coat pocket gun in winter...
    The shorter grip and easier to shoot 26 is still the king of carry for me. And... I've never had a single malfunction with my 26... can't say that about my 43 or 42. That's 15 years of carry...no idea how many rounds...all of them, lol.

    Here in Florida printing means less than shit for all of us. Printing IS NOT illegal here. I can't even remember how many times I have unintentionally showed my handgun when I pick something from upper shelfs at the market for some lady or some shorty chick that asked me that as a favor. It's simply an accident, and literally nobody cares here. So for us in Florida what is more important is not conceal-ability, but how comfortable a gun is to carry for very, VERY LONG periods of time; AND ALSO how good it feels in the hand. That's all that matters for many of us in Real America. You don't have a proper full grip with a Glock 26 nor a Glock 43. It's not the same. It doesn't feel right. And a Glock 19 has a proper grip but the barrel is way too long to wear it every day for long periods of time. I can't wear my G19 unless it's "winter" (which here in FL it last like a week, tops, lol) using an alien gear shoulder holster, or if it's just a short walk, maybe. But if I need to spend all day outside, or seating for many, many hours (I'm a software engineer), then I can't wear my beautiful G19. The Glock 43X is the perfect balance of both, especially with PSA Micro 15 round Mags or with S15 shield mags. I can carry it the whole day and I don't even feel it after some time. It's perfectly fine for me. I just wish we had a true Glock 26X (no XGrip BS). That way I would have a short barrel gun, with a full perfect grip without any division or border on it, but also a thicker gun, so it would be more reliable due to the greater tolerances. We just need a real Glock 26X. I would buy that gun in a blink.

    • @crackshot-tv
      @crackshot-tv  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So I'm also from Florida and also a software engineer. I also carry a 19 in the winter. So we aren't that different. Personally I just shoot the 26 better than the 43X. But in other states that don't have the gunshine state culture, printing matters quite a bit. I will say if you appendix carry the 43X is probably better, but if you prefer 3 O'clock, the Glock 26 is great

    To me it’s the weight. Loaded the 43x is nicer but the hand grips the 26 in a way that puts the trigger finger in the right place. And your points about driving with the 26 is a good one.

Being consistent with my 19 was the something I had considered - it does take additional practice and effort to shoot well with my 43X, being a slim gun.

Tango Down slide stop, Vickers mag release, LWD 🐺 extractor, True Precision TiN gold barrel, Glock Store recoil guide rod, slide lock. I use Magpul 9mm extended mags or Glock 15rd 17rd 9mm mags: spares-back up. I myself like the 10rd 43X MOS model but Im fine with my 2020 era gen 5 26. I use a OWB Safariland ALS rig. 43Xs look sharp for deep carry but I also like the way a 26 can quickly take a 15, 17, 21 rd 9mm magazine. I would consider a US version 9mm G26 X or MOS but I wouldn't see Glock USA doing that until 2026-2028.

    Good video, lots of others would somehow share the same amount of info but take twice as long to do it. I love my 26. I just wish Glock would add a factory light rail and MOS. For some reason I am more accurate with my 26 than I am with my 19 and 19X. Must put too much pressure on my pinky. I dont know.

    • @crackshot-tv
      @crackshot-tv  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks bro, I appreciate the feedback!
      Agreed, a glock 26 MOS would be incredible!
      Perhaps for diagnosing that issue, you could get a Glock OEM + 2 extension for your glock 26 magazine, it'll give you a full grip similar to a Glock 19 (and its nice to have the +12 in the pocket to spare).
      I've actually found the opposite. Since I'm used to the 19, I shoot better with the 26 + extension. I can do a dicken drill with the extension or with 19/17 mags inserted, but have more misses without the extension.

  • @Elliottsouthernfarms
    @Elliottsouthernfarms 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Yep the 26 shoots faster and softer than the 43x. Can go deep concealment when 43x can not . 43x doesn’t have the mag compatibility besides bs aftermarket ones. Have had issues with heavier grain ammo with the 43x as well. I’ve wasted a lot of money trying to get the 43x platform to work for me . I rather carry a 43 if I’m going to go slimline Glock. Which I have. But the 26 riding in a tenicor velo or gcode phenom stealth is what leaves the house for me. The 43, kimber cdp 45 and Ruger GP100 are my outdoor farming guns depending what is going on.

    Glock 43x the trigger sucks. Feels like a spike every time I pull it.

      Yeah, I shot maybe 30 rounds at the range with the 43x... damned trigger buggered up my index finger for about a week.
      I shot pretty good with it. I'd likely drop a pyramid trigger in it if I purchased it.

    everysingle reason he chooses this is unique to him only... no universal reasons to choose one over the other. not a very helpful video unless i am exactly like him

      🤣🤣🤣 I would agree because its funny, but I know several operators who EDC the 43x and could kill me in a split second

    I respect your right to chose, but the 43X/48 is far better than the 26, IMO.

      Wrong. Can you put Glock 17 mags in a G43X/48? No.
      They’ll fit a 26 though. And the 26 fits in a pocket.

    I do carry the new glock 43x fde version. But I am all about what ever makes you feel good. I'm all about that.. Great choice, tho.

      Also a great choice! I may still pick up the 43X at some point, especially for my wife (the double stack pistols are too wide for her).

    Who would buy a glock anymore when they are so many better guns made now, they are so outdated now, glock only has one thing going for it, the aftermarket that’s it

    • @crackshot-tv
      @crackshot-tv  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well I still buy glock 🤣 people either love them or hate them, but I'm in the first camp. Thanks for commenting!

      Glock is the most reliable on the market. It's also simple to use. There's a reason why militaries and law enforcement use them but hey, whatever gun you buy should be the gun that would potentially save your life.
      For me, it'll always be glock. They simply work and are rugged.

      @@legionelite7538 it’s a reliable gun and the reason a lot of military’s and law enforcement use it is price, they get them a lot cheaper, now look at sig winning the military contract a few years back, does anyone think they really had the best gun, no I doubt it they won it on price , don’t get me wrong glock is a good gun but it’s not the best polymer gun going now,
