I also like the 27, and the 30S like you, but I'm left-handed so the 30s has also found its way to the back of the safe because I can't reverse the mag catch, and I hit it on things and eject the mag if I can't swap it. @BlueRidgeCritter i was not aware that you could not reverse the mag catch on the Gen 3 glocks. I wish they woukd come out with a gen 5 G30s also. That would be a problem hitting the mag release. Thank you for sharing
I own M&P 9 shield plus and the Glock 43 Definitely the Glock 43 it’s easy to concealed, now I’m shooing around for a Glock 26 gen 5 I tried the 43x and I rather keep the M&P Great video
The thicker G26 causes it to print at the rear of the slide. The thinner, but longer grip of the 43X is much harder to conceal on the grip length side of the pistol. I have tried many holsters and find both have the issue that hampers conceal ability. I found a combination that works for me, the 43X in custom made holsters still print. The 26 in a Desantis Slim Tuk made for the Glock 17, and I use a Glock 26 with a magazine in a 10, 12, 15, or 17 capacity, they all disappear. The longer holster causes the G26 to disappear. So I carry the G26 with a 17 round magazine, or use a Glock 22, which is a 40. That disappears and I have the ease of shooting a full size.
Have the best of both worlds. I carry a Glock 26 as a primary firearm with two spare magazines 15 round and 17 round, I also carry the Glock 43X as a back-up firearm equipped with a Shield magazine and a spare magazine. They make a great combination.
@@TerryBenton Yes Sir, I’ve carried two firearms for over 45 years, started out carrying two revolvers back in the day. And I still enjoy shooting the wheel guns, I hope you have a great week, stay vigilant and stay safe!
I have both the 26 and 43X. I shoot the 26 better and it's because it's the same width as my 19 and 45. I have carried and trained with the 19 for over a decade. I bought the 26 a year after buying the 19 and swap between the two depending on the weather/temp as that decides what I'll be wearing. Last year I bought the 43X MOS and I trained with it and carried it. It felt like i was carrying a slimmer 19 due to the printing. I carry at the 4-5; o'clock position. I can't do appendix. After some more time at the range i determined that I was not shooting the 43X as well ws my 26. The 43X has now been relegated to the safe. I still take it to the range every now and again but for me I prefer the 26 especially since it takes my 19 and 45 mags. Thanks for the video i dropped a like 👍
Have both but shoot the 26 Gen 5 MOS way better than my 43X . Also I've never felt threatened by fear of bullet killing me through the screen 😂. God bless.
I’ve got both but I like the 43x better. Definitely the 26 conceals easier, but the 43x feels a lot better in my hand and is lighter. I shoot it better. So that’s what I go for. But, I say, why choose, get both. 😂
I carry the G26 with a plus 2 base plate and g19 spare mag with pinky grip on the mag. The g19 mag fits flush. I tried P365, Hellcat, Ruger Max9, and G26 is my best shooter. Don’t matter how she looks … she does the best job.
That is what works for you. You should always use what works for you. Tey a G30s. You will ha e the best of both worlds. Superior caliber. Same grips size and same capscity
Most people including mysely and my wife can not get a full size grip on the 26 i have them both as i lost weight the thinner profile of the 43x and 48 was easybto conceal as well as gave me close to a full grip like a 19. There are alot of factors that are different for people clothes position weight ext. There both good options
Add the Pearce +2 mag extension, it gives you a place to put your pinky but doesn’t print any worse because it angles towards the back, and you get 2 extra rounds. And somehow I shoot my G26 better than my G19. 🤷 My friend has a 43 and honestly it sucks to shoot. I have 4 Glocks and the G26 is my favorite.
@@TerryBenton I was thinking they should’ve just made the glock43x 15 rounds since the grip the same as the 19 but I get why they didn’t it would’ve outshined the 19 in every way but great video man new subscriber here.
I think that you need to accept the fact that some people like Chevy and some people like Ford. No matter what you think. When you're choosing something that you may have to use to save your family or yourself, you should choose what's most comfortable, reliable and that you shoot the best and not what you think. I appreciate this video. I was actually considering getting the 43X and many moons ago back in the 1990s. I owned a Glock 26 for about six months. I traded it in for a six hour P2 29 lol
G26/23 the only two you’ll ever need, otherwise just download any 9mm compact to 10/12+1 on hip 🪶🩳 till this day the SD9VE/G19 are the lightest edc compacts out,but for glock always G26 1st then G23 as 23s are always on sale and Can easily edc both have both cals covered, also don’t mess with conversion kits just swap complete slides on the larger caliber lower frame G23/19,G22/17,G20/21 etc don’t have to swap the extractor just mags
The 43X is lighter, slimmer snd feels better when carrying. And with a few mods, you can use G26 mags in the 43x. I rather go with slimmer and lighter on my body everytime. A Glock 43 s a Slim Glock G26 and a Glock 48 is a slim Glock 19 basically..
I dont think the issue is shooting w 2 fingers its thr feeling of it. alot of ppl including me don't feel comfortable shooting w 2 fingers and also 43 feels a bitore comfortable cuz its slimmer i speak for myself cuz i apexdix carry so the width and lengh matters. Drawing a 2 finger gun fast isnt for me w practi e i know that it could be. Also qe have shield arms mags that are 15 17 and 20. There aftermarket so i give you that but running them i have around 2k and my 17rder has about 1000 rnds itself w no issues. You got the option of lights too which you dont on a 26 and idk the 43x feeling w bit sweeter now in days
W that said I think 26 is the better shooter and 26 is better at concealing the 26 feels way smoother/flatter and the 26 is literally PROVEN ! so how about run both 😂 thanks fot the videos though big dawg always appreciate them
You can run larger factory g19 mags in the 26 with an x-grip on it. You can also put pinky extensions on the facotey mags and get 2 more rounds. Just an FYI
glock 43x is much more comfortable to carry that double stack grip prints on me very noticably.if you want more capacity i have 15 round clips for my 43x so you convinced me none.
They are aftermarket mags made to Ttempt to make am inferior gun as good as one that is already better. I am glad you like your gun. Thank you for watching
I can only have 10 rounds in a mag in my state. So the 43x is better for carry for me. As I need to get my pinky on the gun to shoot comfortably. I don’t like the idea of adding length to my magazine for no benefit other than grip. When I can just have the 43x.
43x. Draw speed is very important. micro 26 grip is like finding a needle in a haystack. g30 is the smallest i go. The 43x isn't that snappy, it's 9mm for crying out loud. g23 is still the best carry in my opinion, 13 rounds of 40 super concealable, easy to draw, and will punch a hole through both car doors.
26 by far. Im from an era where i like a gun to feel like a gun in my hand. The 43 is not garbage but i does not and never will have the options the 26 has. If you want more than 10 rounds on the 43, you have to solicit help from other companies to maximize it. Glock didnt even deen the 43 worthy of 15 rounds. Kinda takes away from the "Glock perfection" if i gotta buy the gun and hire someone else to get more than 10 rnds vs just grabbing a 19, 17 or 18 mag made by Glock. 26 is king.
Your video didn't capture the entire picture. Most people with yhe 43x are shooting shield arms mag with 15+1 capacity thinner and lighter than both the G26 and G19 with the same capacity. Plus a smaller footprint altogether. I carried the G27/G26 for 10+ years but I have large hands and the 43x longer grip feels much better in the hand. Comes down to G26 shoots better less snappy, but fat. G43x smaller footprint higher capacity. I'm porting my 43x currently depending how much softer it shoots I may replace the G26
For me its the 26 hands down. I also own the 43 and shot the 43X. The 26 shoots like my Glock 19. I hate both 43 to shoot, they are very snappy. The 26 prints less than the 43X (for my body type).
I like them both, but for deep concealment reasons, I'll go with the 26. I already have a deep concealment option with my 365xl, but i never need a logical reason to buy a new gun, so i might be grabbing both of these ugly ducklings 😂
I don’t love either because I can conceal a 19. I am thinking about one of these for my girlfriend though. I dislike the 26 grip but my girlfriend is small so she probably won’t have as much of a problem with it.

Neither is snappy.
@@Mike_Webb78 9mm...
Would a g26 with 10+2 still be shorter grip than g19?
@PointWithin probably a little.shorter with the extension. Not much shorter
Have you experienced any rust in the 26 or the 43x?
I have not. I keep stuff clean and oiled after use. Usually body sweat creates rust on carry guns.
Thank you for the information.
@truthtold9084 anytime. Thank you fpr watching
Hot days a 42 ya I know not enough power, but it is very comfortable. As to 43 or 26 I would go with 26.
Right! Very smart
I own M&P 9 shield plus and the Glock 43
Definitely the Glock 43 it’s easy to concealed, now I’m shooing around for a Glock 26 gen 5
I tried the 43x and I rather keep the M&P
Great video
@@lempira69 thank you for watching
@bowl816 very smart thinking. Thanks for sharing
26 gen 5. Easy to conceal or should I say better concealment
@@walterrogers4073 i completely agree
Both are great just depends on what u like and the weight u want to carry
@@TexasT75751 I agree. I like the g26
Have the best of both worlds. I carry a Glock 26 as a primary firearm with two spare magazines 15 round and 17 round, I also carry the Glock 43X as a back-up firearm equipped with a Shield magazine and a spare magazine. They make a great combination.
Now that sounds like a winning combination
@@TerryBenton
Yes Sir, I’ve carried two firearms for over 45 years, started out carrying two revolvers back in the day.
Thanks for the video i dropped a like 👍
I agree with you 100 percent. Thank you for watching

You are right
You are right
i need a g26 frame with a g43 slide with an oem 10 round mag with +2 oem pinky extension.
Thst would be interesting. It is the same concept as the G30s only in 9mm. Great idea
26 with a 19 mag and a Xgrip
Right
But to get the X grip you’ll need a 10+ mag. I can’t do that here in Cali 😩
I carry the G26 with a plus 2 base plate and g19 spare mag with pinky grip on the mag. The g19 mag fits flush. I tried P365, Hellcat, Ruger Max9, and G26 is my best shooter. Don’t matter how she looks … she does the best job.

@@albsure1134 good choice
I choose the 43x. The 26 grip is too small and hinders a quick draw. Agree or disagree, I am only stating a fact.
That is what works for you. You should always use what works for you. Tey a G30s. You will ha e the best of both worlds. Superior caliber. Same grips size and same capscity
That’s not a fact, that’s just your opinion.
26 with a pearce grip or xgrip

Now that the hype of 43X is calming down a bit, I think a lot of people are waking up to the truth of this video. I definitely did.
Thank you for watching
You can turn a G26 into a G17,19,45 but you can't turn a G17,19,45 into a G26
Correct
Most people including mysely and my wife can not get a full size grip on the 26 i have them both as i lost weight the thinner profile of the 43x and 48 was easybto conceal as well as gave me close to a full grip like a 19. There are alot of factors that are different for people clothes position weight ext. There both good options
Thanks for watching
The 43 and 43X I like, but I am going with the OG , the 26!
For some reason the 26 is more comfortable for me to carry.
You are 100 percent correct. The G26 makes alot more sense
Definitely the 26 for sure and great video keep em coming ❤️💯‼️
Thank you for watching
Add the Pearce +2 mag extension, it gives you a place to put your pinky but doesn’t print any worse because it angles towards the back, and you get 2 extra rounds. And somehow I shoot my G26 better than my G19. 🤷 My friend has a 43 and honestly it sucks to shoot. I have 4 Glocks and the G26 is my favorite.
I 100 percent agree with you on the pinky extension
What was the purpose of even making the Glock 43x?
I was asking myself that. I am glad I am not the only one
@@TerryBenton I was thinking they should’ve just made the glock43x 15 rounds since the grip the same as the 19 but I get why they didn’t it would’ve outshined the 19 in every way but great video man new subscriber here.

26 wins I have both and the 26 trigger is smoother
I think thr G26 is a far superior pistol than the G43x also
I appreciate this video. I was actually considering getting the 43X and many moons ago back in the 1990s. I owned a Glock 26 for about six months. I traded it in for a six hour P2 29 lol
@GregGlaeser-j4u thank you for sharing and watching
G26/23 the only two you’ll ever need, otherwise just download any 9mm compact to 10/12+1 on hip 🪶🩳 till this day the SD9VE/G19 are the lightest edc compacts out,but for glock always G26 1st then G23 as 23s are always on sale and Can easily edc both have both cals covered, also don’t mess with conversion kits just swap complete slides on the larger caliber lower frame G23/19,G22/17,G20/21 etc don’t have to swap the extractor just mags
I agree. Comolete slide changes
Gotcha. Always do what works for you
I dont think the issue is shooting w 2 fingers its thr feeling of it. alot of ppl including me don't feel comfortable shooting w 2 fingers and also 43 feels a bitore comfortable cuz its slimmer i speak for myself cuz i apexdix carry so the width and lengh matters.

The 26 is for me.
The 26 is also the one I prefer
I can only have 10 rounds in a mag in my state. So the 43x is better for carry for me. As I need to get my pinky on the gun to shoot comfortably. I don’t like the idea of adding length to my magazine for no benefit other than grip. When I can just have the 43x.
The g30s is not longer. It has 10 rds and they are 45acp
26 please and french fries
Lol
The 26 is by far the most under rated glock. Conceals just as good as 365 IWB but shoots way flatter.
@fkrr5 I agree. People overlook the g26 due to the fact all this new stuff has co e out
I would prefer the Glock 26
@@leftjab6187 I think it is the better choice. Smaller grip and more versatile in the fact that it accepts all double stack glock mags
I carry a G30s
There all awsome, it comes down to your personalr preference i love the people who talk about guns that never seen them in life saving action
They will all do the job
Glock 26 is the best in my opinion.
I agree
26 is king.
Perfect comment
Well said I love my Glock 26 can’t go wrong with it at all to me it just outshines any other conceal carry firearm.
G30 Gen5. You're welcome.
I agree
G26 + Pearce PG-39 = 13+1.
Exactly
Your video didn't capture the entire picture. Most people with yhe 43x are shooting shield arms mag with 15+1 capacity thinner and lighter than both the G26 and G19 with the same capacity. Plus a smaller footprint altogether. I carried the G27/G26 for 10+ years but I have large hands and the 43x longer grip feels much better in the hand. Comes down to G26 shoots better less snappy, but fat. G43x smaller footprint higher capacity. I'm porting my 43x currently depending how much softer it shoots I may replace the G26
I do not use aftermarket mags. I am aware of them. It does have a longer grip. That is the issue
Anyone w any sense doesn’t carry after market mags in their edc.

For me its the 26 hands down. I also own the 43 and shot the 43X. The 26 shoots like my Glock 19. I hate both 43 to shoot, they are very snappy. The 26 prints less than the 43X (for my body type).
Excellent choice. Thanks for watching
I like them both, but for deep concealment reasons, I'll go with the 26. I already have a deep concealment option with my 365xl, but i never need a logical reason to buy a new gun, so i might be grabbing both of these ugly ducklings 😂
