If you still have the IM off, I would remove that bracket that is underneath it and delete the EGR. Removing the EGR, charcoal cannister, misc sensors, and that bracket knock off a good amount of easy weight. I was hesitant about not keeping that manifold bracket but a quick search suggested it is the norm on EvoM and numerous people have done it long term. Regarding EGR, more than likely it will already be turned off in your upcoming tune. From my understanding, Tephra V7 in stock form has the EGR turned off. Also, mini wire tuck FTW while IM is off! EDIT: just saw that you were already installing the ported IM.
Its already back on. I would have removed it but there is is a wire harness attachment on the bracket. I didnt want the harness to hang down above the differential.
@@d-evolution1309 it surprisingly still holds pretty tight to the bottom of the intake manifold. Also, if you don't have an extended COP wiring harness, the passenger side COP wire has to be run above the IM.
No not yey but I will eventually. My runners werent all gummed up so the egr wasnt adding a bunch of tar inside my intake so I am not in a hurry to get rid of it

Bro the intake manifold is giving me so much.trouble with those two nuts that are near the bracket how did you go about getting them
I am assuming you mean on the underside? Remove the bracket, or I think I used some 3/8th extensions to get them.
EGR delete ?
