Zack is alive in the 2nd world
Yes in the other dimension of the present timeline that countinues on with the main game. I'm a little convinced that he is immortal in this dimension since he already passed on in crises core. The timeline where he was froze and he was somehow ported to the present dimension. So no matter how many times he dies in this dimension he will just keep just being ported everywhere; i know it sounds very supernatural to the human eye. I think this is setting his role up for something greater in part 3 . I don't mind supernatural stuff in stories but that is just me it might not be for everyone.
Marlene literally tells us the ending of rebirth AND tells us what needs to happen to part 3!! Yet ppl r so focused on the ending scenes. 😂
Zack 2 is definitely real also since we see things in his perspective from his world throughout the game. Marlene tells him about saving Aerith and he tells Cloud about saving Aerith. This is obviously pointing towards Aerith 2 in the second reality who is 100% going to join the main crew in part 3 along with Zack 2 the Legend 👍.
I Dont Think So Because Marline Doesnt Know About Sephiroth's "Reunion" However She Will Have To Take Up The White Materia And Pray Aerith Survives As Cloud (Our Cloud) Goes To Stop Sephiroth Or Elmyra Can Lock The Door To Aeriths Room
Also I Think Cloud Needs To Die In PART 3 In Order To Save Aerith Because Of What Marline Stated That He Has Been Sick And Zack Said That Cloud's Mako Poisoning Is Getting Worse BUT He Cant Save Aerith However IF He Dies Aerith Is Saved But Aeris Needs To Pass On To The Next Life

What a convoluted and unnecessary mess
She knows because Aerith has showed her in the Sector 7 fall scene where she found her on the bar. And she knows because of the way the multiverse works in this game. Apparently every single deviation from a fixed course creates a parallel world where we see the outcome of said choices. We first see of that at the ending of Remake. When we cross the barrier of Whispers we see our world dublicating. That means our actions have created a separate timeline world where our party never escaped Midgar. Somehow in that timeline Zack survived his death (maybe the White Whispers protected him) and also travelled forward in time. It's obvious Zack is stepping into a world where everything went as in the Remake timeline except that when they were trying to escape Midgar on the Expressway the tornado killed or comatosed most of them. Cloud was nowhere to be seen apparently because once Zack entered that timeline with his Cloud the other Cloud apparently merged with him or something like that. That's why Aerith likes Cloud and Biggs rememberes their time together even though the one Cloud Zack has with him never meet either one of them. That's also the reason Marlene knows this because in that timeline up until the moment the party crossed Destiny's Crossroards both timelines followed the same route (or it was just a single timeline that split itself once we defeated the Whisper Boss.
Oh cloud merging with the cloud which is sick makes sense but didnt come to my mind til now. That explains why every time he goes to sleep, he's seeing everything from the coma-cloud perspective. 🤯

@@DarthPingu07 What will happen is anyone's guess but we know for sure that Zack is alive in one of the timelines (the one Sephiroth threw into the black void where Aerith snatched him from) . Also it's almost guarranted that Cloud deflecting Masamune created a second timeline where Aerith hasn't died. Cloud is glitching between the she lived and she died timelines somehow.
I have a feeling we'll get three timelines at the end. For all we know Aerith from the new dublicated timeline transfered Zack to her world and he'll find her alive and well. Maybe the twist from Part 3 would be the ending of Advent Children this time will retcon their spirit and just have alternate timeline Zack and Aerith be there, Or for all we know all the worlds merge for good by Aerith or Sephiroth and noone dies.
Zack tells Aerith that it was her white whisper that saved her by deflecting the bullet. Then he caresses her hand and she perceives that in the other reality. We will have a resolution of everything in part 3. These characters Aerith and Zack are incredible, they obviously love each other, and it is only fair that they receive a worthy ending. They don't deserve the tragedy. The separation of both is very painful.
Marlene describing Sephiroth's hair as long and gray makes ke wheeze. Cuz it's like she's calling him old. I always thought Sephiroth's hair is silver though.

How can Marlene know that? Simple. I believe back when Aerith showed Marlene that image to make her trust her in Midgar, she was giving Marlene the ability to see the other timeline and the possible futures that could happen. How else could Marlene possibly know something like this, especially since this Marlene is in the alternate timeline where Zack is alive. Not the main one we were following in Remake
Because the writers were high when they were thinking about this convoluted mess.
No, Marlene is an ancient. She senses Barret in the water dripping off the flower in remake. She connected with Aerith and shared knowledge.
On a different note, it proves that Aerith was already into Cloud by the time sector 7 falls because that's when they shared their knowledge.

@@BlackSailPass_GuitarCovers her abilities make her an ancient. The only other person Aerith has transferred knowledge with is is Red and he's tied to the planet in his own way. Cloud is another possibility but he's up to his eyeballs in Sephiroth cells, mako and God knows what so he's tied to the planet too.
So that leaves 3 known options for Marlene; she wasn't an experiment and she's not a labratdog so that only leaves Cetra. I mean, Aerith has always known about ler lineage, I'd wager Marlene didn't have a clue.

Both Aerith and Nanaki are aware that she is going to die during the events of Remake. Their knowledge of the future is stripped of them by the whispers when they leave the city. I like how some of this information is only discovered if you take Nanaki as your "date" in the Golden Saucer

*SPOILERS* I’m still confused. The flashback Marlene has is from remake where she hugs Aerith and the screen turns like a radio signal for a second (similar to how cloud gets his headache) and then she tells her to keep it a secret.
My question is how the heck did she know the future, she sees cloud try to save Aerith, like how??? Why??
we know aeriths white materia had memories of future events so most likely saw the full event go down even cloud has a vision of her death marlene just saw it further

Aerith is dead in both timelines. But before dying in the church in the 2nd timeline she gives to Cloud the holy materia for his salvation from Sephiroth and for the salvation of the world.

All hints at the end are showing that aerith is still alive in the zack timeline. There are multiple worlds, all have a different stamp. The aerith in the church is not the sleeping aerith, since it's not the same world. Cloud is saving aerith, he was the only one who entered the white portal, the same one the group entered at the end of the remake. That's why cloud is saying (in another timeline), cause only in his perspective there were white canon whispers, "wake up". Cloud saw both events in both worlds, but the group didnt. that's why only he can see her.
My guess is also that sephi wasn't there to kill her in the church. Everytime he wanna kill someone he already has his masamune ready, but in this timeline he doesn't. So maybe there was just a talk. we'll see in p3
*posible spoiler* I dont know if it's possible, but god I wish they dont do the Aerirh cant be saved by cloud in any time line unless Zack is the one appears to take the hit. Thus giving fans their Cloud x Tifa or Cloud x Aerith ending....

I haven’t played the rebirth. But i’m very confused about this alternate timeline. Why does Marlene live with Elmyra in the alternate universe? Since Cloud and the Gang haven’t even met Aerith yet??! This is so confusing.
They met already, all that happens after the explosion, like we saw right at the beginning, so they know aerith even in this timeline. Biggs even saying that he knows cloud. So it's the Biggs we know from the remake-timeline - but he survived and somehow is now in Zacks timeline.
How could Marlene know?

What the fuck is going on? How does Marlene know this crap? As far as anyone can tell, none of that will happen to this version of the world and these versions of cloud and Aerith haven’t even met. They’ve been in comas the entire time. I understand that this aerith and Marlene probably have met the same way as the versions of them that we know, but she’s talking about shit that hasn’t happed yet to our versions of them, the world with active cloud.

Yes. Aerith and Cloud's relationship is not a romantic love but a deep and emotional friendship. Cloud's love is Tifa. In Rebirth it is clear that Aerith knows this and even encourages her to move forward.
Aerith's real love was always Zack and her storm is his absence. This becomes clear in the final scene of Advant Children where these two share the stream of life. That is also a relief for Cloud because he is aware of his friend's feelings. The problem is that until now this dimension between Aerith and Zack has not been explored. Part 3 is a good possibility

Marlene makes it very clear: Aerith LIKES Cloud (and NOT because of Zack)
Desiring or having affection is not loving. Aerith confesses this to Cloud in the church when she says that "there are many ways."
Aerith is hurt by the absence of Zack, whom she truly loves. That is the reason for his internal conflict. And Zack is madly in love with Aerith. That's why in Advant Children Zack and Aerith are the ones who are in the stream of life, which is a form of love in eternity. In part 3 the writers are going to delve into this dimension
In Japanese she says Cloud and Aerith are love birds. English local always makes it less romantic
