@@marwellieI'm not certain on this, but based on how Zacks story ends in this game, it seems that Biggs death was more of a possibility depending on what route Zack chose. At the end, Zack is seen sitting there contemplating what to do regarding Aerith, Cloud, and Biggs, which implies Biggs isn't dead. When Zack pursues a route, the other one erupts in white light. I think timelines might be branching more and more and each fork in the road becomes another timeline. But Zack never truly took an action at that point. While debating what to do, he was interrupted and pulled into a fight. Also even with what we see, yes Biggs is shot, and drops, but that doesn't necessarily mean dead, but definitely critically injured. Without confirmation in the story, especially this story, no one is truly dead. Hell even if they say someone is outright dead, we won't know if they stay dead until part 3. In part 1 we thought people were dead, but then they didn't die. My assumption is anyone who dies right now probably wakes up in Zacks timeline. Aerith in the OG guided the life stream along with avalanche to stop meteor. So what if Aerith simply wakes up in Zacks time, and a alanche as they die ends up in that time line, and the life stream between times is connected, so Aerith channels Zack and Avalanche through the life stream from the alternate timeline to fight off meteor, and they live normal lives from there in the alternate timeline? That or Sephiroth succeeds, merges the timelines, and everyone comes back, but stops Sephiroth.

He did not like the fact that people were being really harsh at him, but he did at least bring it up in his Twitter that he was going to try and channel a more Charismatic vibe like Rick Gomez did with the OG Zack.
The fact that Zack's touch on Aerith's hand transcends the "timeline" to cross over to the Rebirht timeline's to Aerith's hand would seem to indicate even more nuance to what the game makers plan on doing beyond what gamers "think" is what is going to happen with regard's to Rebirth's ending and Part 3's story.
OH Yeaaaaahh Aerith's Always Kept Her Materia Hidden But When It Fell He Saw It For The First Time Which Implies That She's Actually Still Wounded By Sephiroth's Sword And She Might've Survived But Is Greatly Weakened And According To What Marline Said In The Trailer That Can Mean That Aerith Will Have To Find Away To Awaken Lucrecia From Her Sleep And Tell Her About What Happened
Wait aerith in this world was hurt …nothing to say she was injured through a multi universal injury by the sword. Honestly there are so Ms y questions. I generally think that Zach’s new world is a screwed up place, a world created as a consequence of the efforts of aerith and sephiroth. This world …seems to get worse and worse every time. Moments just POP up, characters seeming to be very off…and FORGETFUL. Biggs even forgets how long it’s been since he blew sector 8. Why didn’t he evver visit Marlene? Where is elmyra and Marlene when aerith wakes cloud up? The cast seems to be dead or captured. The townsfolk’s GUIDED cloud to pick aerith’s best date choices while remarking to enjoy the time they have…very odd and sad…Zack didn’t ask Biggs where tifa or Barrett is-like it’s very odd. That’s because this world CANT exist. It’s as if the world is doomed which it was and the cracks in the sky prove that. In addition, none fj the main cast show up except for a comprise cloud and aerith…because as we saw they can only interact in this new world by being unconscious in our “main world.” But yeah aerith was prob aware of THIS DYING WORld, and used it to get one last date, BUT she did not understand that Zack was alive. I do think however Zack survived because the OG aerith guided him and/or the “good” whispers are now guiding him since he ends up in church again. We don’t know where and when but we can assume it’s stable for now. I suspect he is our world now with his will, and whatever forces saved him pushing him to save the world. Zach certainly seems more reflective on want he needs to do.
I'm on the last stages of FF7 Remake myself, and can't wait for Rebirth to come to PC and all that, honestly though , why couldn't they've of just kept the whole storyline intact like the original without having all these realities and stuff, (if i sound confused etc thats cos i am)
Can anyone figure out the significance of Kyrie in this scene? She comes out of left field and leaves her bag behind but it doesn’t serve any purpose I can figure out. But surely they wouldn’t waste time putting her in the scene for no reason?
It wasn't totally out of nowhere. Kyrie met Zack offscreen when he went to reclaim Cloud from her. She was inspired to join Avalanche but changed her mind at the last minute. It was possibly cut from Rebirth due to time constraints but they left it in as a way to give some slight development connecting Kyrie with Zack and Biggs so that it isn't completely out of nowhere if they do something with her in the next game that involves Zack.
Except for Cloud (not the one, that Zack brings with him), he is unaccounted for. Locals remember him being merc, however. Cloud from main Rebirth timeline is sometimes able to see glimpses of this reality through coma Cloud's eyes.
If they wanted to cram as much as possible of the compilation content into the game and make a somewhat different story with different possibilities, they should've just introduced branching storylines/events that play out differently, depending on player's choice(especially, considering that SE added the dialogue wheel). These dementors, multiverses and Dr. Sephiroth seem like not the best idea.
Why is Zack shocked to hear about Cloud the merc and Cloud being capable etc. He knew Cloud was caabĺe and knows he saved his life by literally killing Sepiroth, singlehandedly....
because he was not capable back then. There is a huge difference between a shinra grunt and a solider. backstabbing sephirth ( cheapshotting) is not single handedly soloing sephiroth.
Because as far as Zack knows Cloud was a grunt in Shinra and they've spent the last 6 years together. They were trapped in tanks for 4 years and Cloud was comatose for nearly 1 more year after that together with Zack the entire time. It's less about his capability and more about the simple impossibility of what Biggs is saying. When could Cloud have done all this stuff Biggs is claiming? Blowing up reactors as a mercenary? It would be completely unbelievable to 99.99% of people in Zack's situation because Cloud has never left his side for over 5 years and is in bed comatose as they speak. Zack has always had an unwavering belief in Cloud and it's in part why he's not nearly as surprised as he should be.
im confused , to my understanding biggs was taken from the timeline of the "remake" and zack was taken from the crisis core reunion timeline and they are now stranded in which timeline? the one where the reactor blows up and kills wedge , tifa and barret or??? elvira knows cloud? i know she recognices zack but...how is she calm about aerith being dead or comatose?
Because both of them are dead and in the Lifestream, living in their own "version" of reality. Look at the sky; the large "tear" in reality is the same we see in the background when Cloud and Tifa fall into the Lifestream. Zack and Biggs still have a job to do and the Planet's keeping them around for it.
Everyone is talking about timeline nonsense and the insanity of the general plot... but seeing all the flowers dying around aerith's house as a sign that she's gone is really screwed up
It pretty simple they are alive aerith healed Biggs and dragged zack ass from a different timeline so in other words two clouds one zack one dead girl one long haired angel with mommy issues and one big opportunity for a new ff7 story
Then, we will meet advent children Cloud that explain what going on to present cloud. Something has already happened in the future that Sephiroth knows there are multiple time lines. And he need present Cloud to stops Sephiroth because his world already messed up by him.
@@haileeraestout5567 he is an ex soldier wanted by Shinra which HQ is in Midgar .... So if he does where is the cloud of that timeline? Never reach Midgar I guess because Marlene never mentioned him and also there is not wanted for him and the only person that remembers cloud is Biggs so I presume there are actually 4 different timeline on ff7 🤔
There might be 2 different Clouds, the one that fought with Avalance and currently missing in that world, and the Comatose Cloud brought by Zack. Zack came by after the destruction of Sector 7, so Biggs and Avalance have fought together with Cloud for that long but they failed, because we see Tifa, Barret, Red XIII and Aerith were captured together means they got captured after the highway chase. The "tornado" might be the whisper battle at the end of Remake, but this version our heroes lost and Cloud went missing.

It’s just so good to see Zack again, however Cloud has no big change in feelings, he’s just…different than the last time Zack’s seen him in the reunion… I miss the old Cloud in the reunion…It just feels good that Cloud meets his hero Zack again…
biggs death was in the 6th parallel timeline. zack is in the 4 parallel timeline.
Sorry to bother you, but is there a way to save Biggs? I heard it's a choice? 😢
Gotta love how Biggs is just Topper Harley
IT'S GREAT TO HAVE ZACK BACK AFTER ALL THESE YEARS WE ALL DON'T HAVE TO WORRY WE HAVE HIM BACK AND I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR HIM MAYBE IF THERE'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER GAME ABOUT HIM YOU'RE FINALLY FIND A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND GET MARRIED AND HAVE KIDS THIS IS FINALLY THE TIME WE KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE REAL FINAL FANTASY 7
I KNOW RIGHT I MISSED ZACK. I’M GLAD CLOUD MEETS HIS HERO AGAIN! But, I miss the old Cloud, he doesn’t show his old expressions anymore..
@@eunicejiang2279 I play the game for like 10 minutes but something of a game today feel right like the story was supposed to be about Zach returning but it wasn't it was always about cloud and his crew so yeah I didn't want to play the game and I returned it back to the game store but why play it when you can watch it here on TH-cam right at least now Zach is okay and he's alive and well
@@jacquelynsaenz2111 I was also disappointed as well that Zack was barely in the game despite being on the cover. Hoping for better in part 3.
@@jesse1381 yeah nowadays with this whole technology stuff why play it when you can just watch here on TH-cam I was only getting it for Zach but they barely even show him so yeah TH-cam will help
@@eunicejiang2279 yeah I miss the old cloud like how he was when he first met Zack but in the game it's always going to be about cloud and his crew and him and tifa are a couple it's just doesn't make sense and does arith love cloud or Zack
I wish I liked Zack more... Im too old and played the OG too much. He is growing on me though at-least!
Ya seems like Caleb did a excellent job here in rebirth. He was actually pretty good. Same with Tyler as sephiroth.
I didn't like Caleb in ff7 remake but the dlc was good for his scenes. CCR was extremely trash imo which led me disappointed after he did a good job for remakes dlc.
I just hope he stays consistent from here on out.
I doubt age has anything to do with it. You just have an opinion. And that’s fine. Me, personally, I’m not fond of the multiverse thing but it is what it is.
He is the best ff character you’re not too old I’m likely older than you
@@DavidMaxSteinbach I am happy that Caleb took the criticism from the first game and Reunion. yeah, sure. He did not like the fact that people were being really harsh at him, but he did at least bring it up in his Twitter that he was going to try and channel a more Charismatic vibe like Rick Gomez did with the OG Zack.
It might help if you played crisis core?
Becouse alot of people have more of a connection to Zack by through that.
what chapters do you play as Zack because i don't remember?
They are more like clips and pieces of gameplay than a full chapter dedicated to their story.
OH Yeaaaaahh Aerith's Always Kept Her Materia Hidden But When It Fell He Saw It For The First Time Which Implies That She's Actually Still Wounded By Sephiroth's Sword And She Might've Survived But Is Greatly Weakened And According To
What Marline Said In The Trailer That Can Mean That Aerith Will Have To Find Away To Awaken Lucrecia From Her Sleep
And Tell Her About What Happened
You don't need to capitalize every word y'know
Wait aerith in this world was hurt …nothing to say she was injured through a multi universal injury by the sword.
@@lundylow Yeah I see people doing this once in a while, like why tf would you do that?!
I'm on the last stages of FF7 Remake myself, and can't wait for Rebirth to come to PC and all that, honestly though , why couldn't they've of just kept the whole storyline intact like the original without having all these realities and stuff, (if i sound confused etc thats cos i am)
I refuse to acknowledge any FF7 timeline where Tifa is dead. Imagine if that Cloud wakes up and finds out, he’d prob just off himself immediately
Or succumbs to Jenova's influence and becomes a black robe
Anyone know the name of the song here??
I need to know as well
“End of The World”
Can anyone figure out the significance of Kyrie in this scene? She comes out of left field and leaves her bag behind but it doesn’t serve any purpose I can figure out. But surely they wouldn’t waste time putting her in the scene for no reason?
Did you notice her eyes? There was something really off about them.
@@billybatts8283 hmm, how so? Not seeing anything myself.
I don't understand can someone clarify me in this timeline is tifa and the rest of the party dead?
I guess so, but they will reunite with the other timeline in the 3rd part of the game
Except for Cloud (not the one, that Zack brings with him), he is unaccounted for. Locals remember him being merc, however.
Cloud from main Rebirth timeline is sometimes able to see glimpses of this reality through coma Cloud's eyes.
In this timeline, yes they are dead.
Nice. How long are Zack sequences in the game? Tell me it isn't really short.
so far? Pretty damn short
He does like two cool things in the game lol
Short enough to have the game give you “fighting as zack” turorial during the final boss
Con esto de las lineas temporales puedo acordarme de Dr Strange y de Thanos en EndGame Avengers....
Idk what's going on really but Marlene is adorble
What is this theme!?
“End of The World”
Why is Zack shocked to hear about Cloud the merc and Cloud being capable etc.
They change the story a lot, huh? Means Aerith won't die either, right?
im confused , to my understanding biggs was taken from the timeline of the "remake" and zack was taken from the crisis core reunion timeline and they are now stranded in which timeline? the one where the reactor blows up and kills wedge , tifa and barret or??? elvira knows cloud? i know she recognices zack but...how is she calm about aerith being dead or comatose?
Because both of them are dead and in the Lifestream, living in their own "version" of reality.
Look at the sky; the large "tear" in reality is the same we see in the background when Cloud and Tifa fall into the Lifestream. Zack and Biggs still have a job to do and the Planet's keeping them around for it.
Timeliness lol. It's clearly the lifestream, a purgatory.
Everyone is talking about timeline nonsense and the insanity of the general plot... but seeing all the flowers dying around aerith's house as a sign that she's gone is really screwed up
Spoil me... is there a way to save Biggs?
It pretty simple they are alive aerith healed Biggs and dragged zack ass from a different timeline so in other words two clouds one zack one dead girl one long haired angel with mommy issues and one big opportunity for a new ff7 story
Then, we will meet advent children Cloud that explain what going on to present cloud. Something has already happened in the future that Sephiroth knows there are multiple time lines. And he need present Cloud to stops Sephiroth because his world already messed up by him.
And the real cloud is having fun dating with the real aerith, even making out with the booba tifa😂😂😂😂
Isn't zack is a wanted as well?
No He Isnt An Avalanche Member
@@haileeraestout5567 he is an ex soldier wanted by Shinra which HQ is in Midgar .... Yeah unless this is a piece of hint that the timeline is messed up and Zack is actually on the future and he is supposed to be dead in that timeline where jump in with cloud?
@@kennykurniawan there is an oddity red xiii he suppose not be part of avalanche and the wanted poster miss cloud to me is clear that cloud never get part of avalanche and the biggs that we have in the game is the one that was from the remake that actually met with cloud and was about to die my guess the biggs in that world is actually dead together with Jesse and wedge and now tifa Barrett aerith are dead in this world without cloud
no zack in crisis core is KIA
So the alternate timeline theory is real then
0:09 LA
SO YOURE SAYING THERES A CHANCE JESSIE IS ALIVE???
The ending of Remake hints she's alive somehow somewhere because her gloves are on the table.
Zack has to be the most overrated character, but his passionate and kind words are so powerful and beautiful.
😅😅😅 Where TBA when someone messing with the timeline... jk jk, but how much i love the original story, but the remake has plot twist on its own...
Plot twist, huh? M. Night Shyamalan would be so proud

Dumb storyline thanks to Nomura and his whispers
It's not dumb per say, but it sounds like they wanted to have their cake and eat it too. On the one hand it is horryfying that Aerith died in the original...however, it was what elevated that game from a 9 to a 10 because it taught gamers, particularly younger ones the importance of dealing with loss.
Nomura didn't write this game.
Nomura didn't even write for the game, it was Kazushige Nojima, whos was a writer in the original
All they had to do was remake FF7 with better graphics, but nope. They add in 100 hours of weeby fluff and rewrote the plot. It's so depressing.
I think i would actually spend money on a ps5 and this game if it was an actual remake and non of this multiple timelines and different story elements. Just a classic remake with these graphics. Following the original exactly
I wouldnt mind new side quests and stuff and other elements I guess just keep the story the same.
Nah this is better
