Installing Minicats on the rear O2 sensors. The Federal Emissions Warranty runs out at 8Y/80K miles, most V8 Fs have both cats replaced 3 to 5 times by then. Minicats ($20 each) wont pass emissions but there are still plenty of non-emissions states.

If it isn't GUSHING oil from 9 different fountains all over EVERYTHING. Destroying the $6,000 VANOS system and all pulleys on the serpentine at $2500, with a $4000 blown rear main seal, a $3600 frame removal to replace a cracked oil pan, and a $35,000 engine tear down to replace scored internals from sheared VANOS bolt heads that migrated from top to bottom--then it isn't a BMW.

Yes. But also a recall on all BMW straight 6s (all 69 trillion cars) for sheared VANOS bolt heads finding their way into the oil pan from the valve train. Amazing crap quality, its like they are teaching GM how to suck.

Im currently going through a similar thing. Just bought my 2015 f type v6 s, 29k miles from local jag dealer. Sputters on hard acceleration and misfire check engine lights come on when I do. I really think it's gas pump because the first owner rarely drove it. But Im sending it back to the dealership for diagnosis/repair

I’ve watched you since you brought your F Type home. Love your channel. I own a 2018 R and have to say I bought it new and at 16,000 miles my back tires were bald. Cost 1,000 for 2 P zeros.I don’t do burn outs or anything like that. It’s just normal daily driving. In the spring we will replace all 4 with Michelin. I could not get my first oil change from the jag dealership till I had 16,000 miles. Right now I’m at 28,000 and I’ve never put anything below 91 octane in my car. I absolutely love this car!! I use dynamic/ sport and manually shift every time I drive it. I had a doe jump on my windshield at 50 mph in May and it did damage to my front end and hood. I took it to a fantastic shop that repaired high end sport cars and it cost the insurance company 20,000 and I didn’t pay a penny. It’s beautiful! I also want to say I love your log home. My husband and I built our 3 story log home on 9 acres here in NH 20 yrs ago. Not one piece of Sheetrock is in this house. It’s our dream home. 11 yrs ago a F3 tornado ( 135 mph) started on our property and circled around our house and took every single tree down! This house withstood the high winds with minimal destruction. Now all the trees have finally grew back beautiful. Good luck with your next purchase! 👍. Love watching your channel 💓
