My father's prescription was -5.5, mine was -3.5 and we still had fragile retinas (his was severely detached) and we both got glaucoma. Thanks for giving me a chance to clarify. Myopia control is what will decrease the elongation of the eye (1:59). Vision correction procedures only provide glasses-free clear vision (4:09). There are risks and it is stated clearly at 4:17.
What is your opinion on comparing orthokeratology and surgeries like Smile, for adults wanting to be glasses free , thank you!
