I really liked the idea of Spidey, Black Cat, Venom etc vs Carnage. I want Andrew back but the current Sony universe would just taint his legacy even more if he returned. If Tasm 2 had simply ended with Electro’s defeat and Peter not giving Harry his blood, we could have had a Goblin-lead Sinister 6 culminating in an even more built up death for Gwen. Or just keep Gwen alive since the Tasm Peter-Gwen relationship is just hands down the best On-screen Spiderman couple.
Unfortunately, I agree. Can't really bring it back no matter how much we really wish we could. The insult to injury is that Tom Holland's depiction is my least favorite overall. Harry becoming Goblin in a 3rd film would've definitely been superior to another fuster-cluck like the one we got. It could've even been done where Norman's head was still alive and talking in the jar; instructing Harry on what to do and/or being in the background "leading" the sinister six as THEY mentored a freshly Goblinized Harry. Gwen would instead die in the third film from the S6 (or at least the beginnings of them) overwhelming Peter on his own, but to counter it, you could also get the MJ introduction as well as possibly have Richard Parker come back into the mix, and if they wanted to tie in the MCU, or tie TASM into the MCU, they could have him be an agent of shield or something that was under witness protection, and his existance/status as alive was leaked when Natasha Romanov went public with the Shield/Hydra info dump on the net as a result of the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Also, yeah. TASM Peter-Gwen is only really rivaled by ATSV Miles-Gwen.

I think Andrew Garfield fits Peter Parker’s personality better. He’s got a sense of humour, the suit fits him perfectly, he’s just one of the best spider-men in my opinion.
@@John-Wack_DK You say that as if it's an invalid reason not to like him Now personally I love him and he's my favorite of the 3 but "that's what everybody says" does not make it a bad argument
That scene of Peter going to group therapy so he could heal properly is such a beautiful scene that many people related to it. Even heroes suffer from traumatic experiences, and in Amazing Spider-Man we saw Peter suffering from grief and loss (maybe could be a prolonged brief if the series continued). But unfortunately will never happen even though it could have been included. It really shows the team of the series had a plan and it was in the good direction, but of course, Sony (corporation) had to screw everything up. Plus Andrew admitting that scenes made no sense really shows he cared about the project, and speaking of this it reminds me of the Witcher series (actors speaking about how a franchise goes in the wrong direction but then they are ignored). I hope Andrew comes back as Amazing Spider-Man again but with a great script (as he always deserved it) so we can have these ideas on the table. And please creators of the series fight back with everything you've got because your ideas matter.
The Richard Parker stuff is awful though. bringing him back was the script, not the studio right? And the studios plans were all over the place because they had no damn idea what they were doing.
You can always trace everything back to DEI. Why are movies doing so poorly now? DEI….why does the Witcher suck? DEI. Why will future movies suck until they learn that if you don’t hire the best person for the job your project will suffer? DEI
I agree with Garfield and Shailene on this one; this thing of having a script and changing it by adding more ideas for fan service, you end up with an incoherent story and TOO MANY characters. I get it, it would have panned out into seperate movies, but WOW! I mean, resurrecting Gwen only to kill her again? 👀 Nah bro 😂 What?! Let's see how Kraven turns out. It may be rated R, but... the story has to make sense bro.
I think this is what doomed TASM2. They packed too many plot points into 2 and as a result, none of them were given the screentime needed to be properly fleshed out. Particularly Harry Osborn and Peter's quest to learn more about his father. 2 did some things really well but overall it was a jumbled and rushed mess
I’m one of the five people who liked The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, and was excited for the sequel… and as it sounds like they would’ve been a lot of interference from Sony, I wish I could’ve seen Shailene Woodley as Mary-Jane and Felicia Hardy as Black Cat, I’m sure they would’ve had amazing chemistry with Andrew Garfield… Pun not intended lol
10:38-10:44 I think we all would’ve loved to have seen that as a giant Maximum Carnage style movie. Perhaps if they have a plan now they could attempt a similar thing with Venom and some of the spin-off projects that connect to Spider-Man and since the animated Spider-Verse movies can exist with the live action movies the possibilities are endless
@@Bulletsandblockbusters Detective Patrick Mulligan is shown to be alive at the end with some sort of symbiote so there’s a chance Carnage lives on through a movie version of Toxin.
I don't even like Andrew Garfields movies and venom just killed its franchise with their pile of cr@p 3rd movie. Literally set up a spiderverse live action marvel event with knull then they completely ruined it. Pathetic.
Giving Andrew’s spiderman the symbiote would have honestly made sense. Him getting the symbiote after losing Gwen? We’d see a more ruthless cutthroat spiderman. Who ends up getting snapped out of it someway somehow. Maybe by MJ becoming his new love interest? Or maybe him accidentally hurting aunt may or an innocent bystander due to his overagressive fighting. It definitelty could have been interesting had they gone that route
I think that's what was going to happen, because at the end of TASM 2 deleted scene that guy Mr fierce was walking by and you see venom symbiote and doc ock tentacles.
id love that. it'd give more context to his ruthless line from no way home. id prefer the snapping out of it being unrelated to mj (maybe im too attached to gwen) but the other options are great! i could see him really hurting aunt may emotionally and/or physically and it destroys him
They complained about his acting emotions being all over the place with emotion but that’s perfect for Spider-Man cause spidey is a teen and goes through (in comics and movie) the most at way too young of an age
Right. Make a good, solid, standalone film and see what happens from there. Don't put the cart in front of the horse. Maybe a post credit stinger if test screenings go well, but don't spend any precious run time any potential upcoming related movies. And for God's sake focus on one bad guy at a time. Every studio exec needs to watch stuff that worked, like Iron Man 1, TDK and Deadpool and take notes. Create films that work well when watched only by themselves, and ones that tell a single cohesive story. Minimum extraneous bullshit, maximum bang for the buck.
I know the comic book version of Peter Parker, is famous for being “flippant and chatty’ during fights, as a defense mechanism for coping (something Tom Holland’s version, beautifully bruoght to life while figthing off Falcon and Bucky in Civil War)… I personally, have no issues with Andrew Garfield’s “Peter” being more emotionally grounded… He lost his parents at a young age, the only father figure he knew was murdered due partially to his inactions to stop a thief… he has experienced a lot of grief for a high school aged young man… His reaction in NO WAY HOME when rescuing Michelle, was perfect and beautiful, especially with fans knowing what it meant when he couldn’t save Gwen.
Andrew is my favourite Spider-Man. I know people say his version is bad but thats because of the writing. He is my version of Spider-Man. He deserves a third movie.
It couldnt have been worse than the first two. Well, yeah, Gwen coming back, carnage, the savage land, time travel, it would have been worse. Thank god it never happened.
@@smithryansmithbut even if it was worse he'd still have a trilogy like everyone else but no cuz stupid raimi fans and just everyone in generally hating on tasm 2 even tho it wasnt bad and they just agreed and listen to everyone calling it bad
Richard Parker could’ve been a clone. I think the comics did that once, with Harry cloning Peter’s parents to mess with him. That ending it too out of nowhere, though. Carnage Gwen is also from the ultimate clone saga. I’d like to see that.
I thought that Amazing Spider-Man 3 would have had Peter's new love interest be Falicia Hardy/ Black Cat. Like Tobey Maguire Spider-Man has Mary Jane Watson, Tom Holland Spider-Man has MJ, and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man has Black Cat. It would be different for the different universes.
The poster on thumbnail is just amazing. It was a very unfortunate loss of potential ... I still have hopes for another Spidey movie from both Tobey and Andrew in the future .. what I'm thinking is bringing the two old Spideys to fight Venom in the 3rd movie!
@@maddenboseroy4074 is worth remembering that everything Arad does is strictly merchandise-driven For Feige, it took time to think about the Sinister 5, while in TASM2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, no one took time to think about how to give room for so many characters While for Spot, Lord and Miller didn't know at first how to fit him into the story, but they eventually pulled it out If they couldn't work it out, they would not have included Why you think Venom turned out the way it did in Spider-Man 3? Because Sam Raimi didn't wanted him in the story, since it already had Sandman and Green Goblin
Since so many of Spidey's rogues are legacy characters, I figured there would be two Sinister Six teams (there's been three Doc Ocks, three Vultures, four Kravens, two Rhinos, two Mysterios, ect). Have one be the fun anti-heroes and the other be villains.
I must say that I like the sound of the big stand-alone Spider-Man vs. the Sinister Six movie. That would have been pretty cool. They could still make a movie like that. Everything doesn't have to be in continuity with everything else. Just look at the success of "The Batman". That movie was totally outside of the DCEU, or any other established DC Universe and it did pretty well.
Honestly, I can see why Sony scrapped it, there was just too much craziness mixed in with all their plans that I cannot really blame them from scrapping it. Also, the problem with a Sinister Six movie, is that unlike the cartoons and comics, it is hard to find a compelling reason for the villains to come together especially when they are so different. You notice that even in the Batman, they spent a significant amount of time setting up the Riddler.
Why should that work if people didn't like spiderman 3 because it had too many villains in it? If 3 is "too many villains"then what's 6? I laugh at that...and I personally liked both spiderman 3 and TASM 2
@@tommyvercetti891 I think you are oversimplifying the issues with Spider-Man 3. I think this movie is too crazy too work but a Sinister Six movie could work if all the villains were written like stage 1 MCU villains, intimidating and scary but with no real character and there are plenty of Spider-Man characters who could be written like that without upsetting the fans.
Andrew Garfield is easily my favorite actor to play Spider-Man. Having learned nothing from Spider-Man 3 and in a desperate move to capitalize on trend, Sony did him dirty
I Don't Have a Favorite Cause There All So Good I There Own Way But Andrew Definitely Got Robbed By Sony Hopefully He Gets His 3rd Movie But, If he doesn't I'm kinda.. okay with that but kinda not Cause I just want to see Andrew as Peter/Spiderman 🕷️🕸️ once again
Fiege's criticism of Garfield's performance seems a little misdirected. If Garfield is required to cry or be angry, it's because he's told to be emotional by the director. Why blame the actor for doing something he is asked to do?
It astonishes me how Sony has a big opportunity in front of them and are not seeing it: a combined Spider-Man 4 + The Amazing Spider-Man 3, featuring a double-protagonist duo with Tobey and Andrew, as two Spider-Man who team-up again against a Sinister Six kind of antagonist, or something like that. I don't think the audience wants to see individually each sequel, but combined, man... It could be cool. (Extra bonus: make Tom Hardy's Venom a third protagonist, if you want, they already developed him enough and the audience likes him.)
There was a video I saw which was basically what Spiderman 4 or TASM3(can't remember which one) would look like with both Tobey and Andrew as the protagonists, I'd love to see that
@@MarcoAce13 NWH is a movie about Spider Tom becoming the true Spider-Man, with the assistance of Tobey and Andrew appearing like 30 minutes before the end. I'm talking a full movie with Tobey and Andrew from beginning to end. They could fight Venom, I don't know.
A Toxin Origin movie based on Venom vs. Carnage featuring Spidey and the return of Carnage would be a cool way to tie everything together and maybe give it some world expansion with a plot that explains how Symbiotes reproduce. A comedic cop fighting his symbiote’s predatory urges with the help of Garfield’s Spidey could have a buddy-cop vibe lol
@@DavidRodriguez-i3d they could now easily rip from Deadpool and Wolverine with Venom as the energetic partner and Spidey as the brooding one. This could be the movie where Venom gets the emblem. Just ideas lol

I can’t believe they scrapped the 3rd movie because Andrew took a sick day. We need this series completed. He’s the perfect blend between Tom and Toby. We need Justice for the best Spider-Man
I’m not sure if I’d like Sandman having fun with being a villain instead of being a more tragic character, regardless of how entertaining Tom Hardy’s performance might’ve been.
I just discovered your channel quite recently and i can't stop watching your videos. I think I've been binge-watching your content since this morning. Great channel!
After seeing Spider-Man: Lotus, I realized how good Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man really is, and after rewatching both, I think he deserves a third one.
I remember watching this movie in theaters and felt that the story was incomplete. I was eagerly waiting for TASM3. Also if you guys remember there was a TASM2 video game which also teased a 3rd game featuring Chameleon and Kingpin in the post-credit scene. Hopefully Sony and Marvel decides to continue this universe.
I think another reason why they didn’t use Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man as the main Spider-Man in the MCU is because they couldn’t find a way to make the Amazing Spider-Man movies fit into the MCU canon. TASM 1 takes place in Manhattan in 2012, Avengers 1 takes place in Manhattan of that same year so storyline wise you can see how it doesn’t make sense, especially with no mention of the events of the Avengers in TASM 2 and the events of TASM 1 not being referenced at all in any phase 2 MCU movie
I have always loved TASM 2, but I just don’t think TASM 3 would’ve been good in the way they were going to do it. The whole idea of cloning everyone who had died in the first two films would not have worked. It was just too soon. Also, Norman being a head in a jar was a stupid idea. They killed him off in 2. Should they have? That’s not for me to say, but they made that decision, and they made the decision to end the movie with him still being dead. They made a choice, and they should’ve stuck with it. Honestly, I think they should’ve focused entirely on Peter getting over Gwen, the Venom Symbiote making it even harder for him to connect with the people around him, and the Sinister Six coming into play. The clone saga and Norman’s resurrection should have been left out.
Spider-Man was nothing without LAURA ZISKIN After she died during the production of TASM1, no one else was able to stop AVI ARAD from ruining everything again
It sounds SO bizarre: but its so weird that it loops back around to sounding fun (evil head in a jar, agent aunt May, symbiots bringing people back “wrong”, Gwen as Carnage, Spiderman 2099) It’s a bit like an extended “What If?” series
The reason infinity saga worked because there was a focus in the series. The series revolved around infinity stones and ended at it. Other shared universe movies do not work because of this same issue of not having a focused plot point.
@@Lance37a you smokin crack kid?? There's 4 movies so far, with a 5th coming out next year and others already in the works plus plenty of comics and some novels

That’s just being petty because truly no normal human being would’ve noticed. He is the best Spider-Man and the Spider-Man universe could’ve so much more.
I love the idea that Norman Osborn was surveiling Peter Parker from a young age and intentionally planning on him becoming spider man one day.. and that being the reason why Richard had to go and hide
Give us a Spider Man 3 with Venom, in two parts showing the struggle of Peter with the allure of the symbiote suit's power and the psychological impact on Brock and Peter's loved ones.
i think a few of those movie ideas were unnecessary but the overall idea sounds amazing....we truly missed out I like tom but I loved andrew better tbh
If Marc Webb doesn't return for TASM3, then Sony should let PHIL LORD and CHRIS MILLER in charge If they let them produce the movie as well, they could save it from AVI ARAD, just like they did with SPIDER-VERSE
It’s hilarious that Kevin Feige said Andrew was “too emotional” considering how he has systematically erased any form of genuine emotion in all of his movies. If Feige had his way he probably would’ve undercut Gwen’s death with a quip no one thinks is funny.
A bit off topic but..Just about every time I see Spiderman producer Avi Arad he cracks me up with the way he tries to look like “Coolest Dude”, like he does here at 2:29 ..The guy just kills me!
Drew Goddard also directed Bad Times at El Royale and the Netflix Daredevil series. Honestly could've been sick, I think Goddard is a super underrated director and he's shown that he can make really deep and mature comic book stories. I've always felt Daredevil and Spider-Man go hand in hand anyway
Raimi’s made between 800million to 1 billion and Tom Holland’s made 1-1.9 billion so it wasn’t a financial failure but not upto the potential of a IP like Spiderman just like BvS made 800 million but its potential was 1+ billion so everybody considers it a failure
@@kzcciynk raimi had little competitors. Tom came into the mcu when it was great. Since the beginning andrew had to live up to raimi. He had the hardest of all 3. And studio interference was awful. I don't see the need for a Mary Jane in TASM, but they _could_ start a clone saga thing, with Professor Miles Warren (the Jackal) trying to clone Gwen after her death _(cuz in the comics, Warren had a pedophila crush on Gwen)._ I also see the possibility for Gwen to have spider-powers, as in the comics, Prof. Warren collected cell samples of all his students. A bit of Parker's spider-DNA gets mixed into Gwen's DNA sample, and the resulting Gwen clone gets spider-powers. Ben Reilly could probably be a thing here, too, and Prof. Warren, in order to attack Peter, _(cuz even the Gwen clone loves Peter, but has 0 feelings for Warren)_ he uses Dr. Connor's old research & becomes the Jackal _(in a similar way Connors became the Lizard)._ Sure, Venom could also be there as a secondary villain, but near the end, Spider-Man & Venom could team-up against Warren (cuz Venom isn't really a villain. He's the Anti-Hero known as the Lethal Protector) And Felicia Hardy _does_ exist in TASM, as she used to work for Harry Osborn, so Black Cat could be a thing, too.

the release of no way home has left so many fans hungry for an Amazing Spider-Man 3 especially since it was the end of Tom's trilogy, and a movie that marked the end of the MCU's quality streak I hope Kraven is a relative hit for Sony so that a serious discussion can happen for a conclusion to Andrew's films
I’m not understanding how No Way Home was the end of Tom Holland’s movies because at the very end of the credits they showed the guy who currently plays as Venom and they showed his symbiote as well. Maybe that could be a hint that all three might meet again in a future movie to fight Venom in a multiverse movie just like Peter Parker and Miles Morales both fought Venom together in the recent Spider-Man 2 video game.
Andrew is a comic nerd who grew up with the character more than the other two cinematic Spider-Men. He understood Peter’s kind of a punk whose edge gets mellowed overtime and wasn’t afraid to be unflattering in his portrayal. He deserves 3 and really lost out due to bad writing and circumstance

Not gonna lie. The final plan they had for the TASM actually sounds nice. Probably because it is actually a planned thing and pretty much borrows the structure of MCU's Phase 1 as the video says.
The amazing Spider-Man 3. Will be great to see you again as an upcoming film Spider-Man versus a rhino they never finished that fight after amazing Spider-Man 2 finale.
The only way I could see that "Formula that brings people back to life" plot ever working was if it featured the Jackal as the villain and it was an adaption of the clone saga.
Kevin Feige’s criticisms of Garfield’s Peter are incredibly rich considering a few of the things he pointed out are things that would happen with Holland’s Spider-Man! 😂
People shouldn't blame Marc Webb for the failure of this franchise They should blame AVI ARAD for stuffing so many characters for the sake of toys sales
While I can see where Feige’s criticism of Garfield’s performance comes from, Garfield is my favorite actor to portray Spidey. The first half of ASM1 hits so many good notes. It’d be thrilling to see Sony let him have another crack at leading a Spidey movie, but everything Spider-Man-related outside of the animated “Spider-Verse” movies is a hot mess. Maybe it’s better to let him go with the graceful exit afforded by “No Way Home” unless Sony can get out of its writers’ ways and let the script something coherent and emotionally satisfying

Agree 100 percent.
I like Tasm 2 as well not a perfect film but the chemistry between Peter and Gwen and the tragedy made me like it more than dislike it
I'm sixth lol
Not interference from Sony but Kevin feige . Get it right

I think we all would’ve loved to have seen that as a giant Maximum Carnage style movie. Perhaps if they have a plan now they could attempt a similar thing with Venom and some of the spin-off projects that connect to Spider-Man and since the animated Spider-Verse movies can exist with the live action movies the possibilities are endless
Would be awesome but I think they killed carnage in the last venom film.
I think that's what was going to happen, because at the end of TASM 2 deleted scene that guy Mr fierce was walking by and you see venom symbiote and doc ock tentacles.
id love that. it'd give more context to his ruthless line from no way home. id prefer the snapping out of it being unrelated to mj (maybe im too attached to gwen) but the other options are great! i could see him really hurting aunt may emotionally and/or physically and it destroys him
Think what happens when he finds the killer of his uncle and almost kills himself/literally kills him and realises he himself became a monster.
They complained about his acting emotions being all over the place with emotion but that’s perfect for Spider-Man cause spidey is a teen and goes through (in comics and movie) the most at way too young of an age
Advice to the studios. Don't plan out Extended/Connected Universes until you see the grosses.
Exactly. Like putting the cart before the horse. Focus on making a great movie.
Or don't constantly interfere with the vision
WB AND SONY MUST SEE THIS COMMENT
I think the MCU has built itself so high up that a lot of people trying to copy it forget it was a minor miracle it got to Phase 1 at all.
I know the comic book version of Peter Parker, is famous for being “flippant and chatty’ during fights, as a defense mechanism for coping (something Tom Holland’s version, beautifully bruoght to life while figthing off Falcon and Bucky in Civil War)… I personally, have no issues with Andrew Garfield’s “Peter” being more emotionally grounded…
He lost his parents at a young age, the only father figure he knew was murdered due partially to his inactions to stop a thief… he has experienced a lot of grief for a high school aged young man…
His reaction in NO WAY HOME when rescuing Michelle, was perfect and beautiful, especially with fans knowing what it meant when he couldn’t save Gwen.
Yeah Madame Web DEFINITELY saved Sony's insane spiderman-less movie universe
Andrew is my favourite Spider-Man. I know people say his version is bad but thats because of the writing. He is my version of Spider-Man. He deserves a third movie.
He's a good Spider-Man but a bad Peter Parker, because he's too cool and edgy.

Richard Parker could’ve been a clone. I think the comics did that once, with Harry cloning Peter’s parents to mess with him. That ending it too out of nowhere, though.
Carnage Gwen is also from the ultimate clone saga. I’d like to see that.
Or it could be the Chameleon in disguise
The flood escape music plays in the background and I love it
I thought that Amazing Spider-Man 3 would have had Peter's new love interest be Falicia Hardy/ Black Cat.
He should have gotten his trilogy 😢

@@Zombiesnyder13 That does depend. He was reportedly responsible for the "Sinister 5" in No Way Home and the Spot in Across the Spider-Verse.

@@Zombiesnyder13 Lord and Miller didn't think of Spot and Feige took time to think about the "Sinister 5" in No Way Home.
@@maddenboseroy4074 is worth remembering that everything Arad does is strictly merchandise-driven
For Feige, it took time to think about the Sinister 5, while in TASM2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, no one took time to think about how to give room for so many characters
While for Spot, Lord and Miller didn't know at first how to fit him into the story, but they eventually pulled it out
If they couldn't work it out, they would not have included
Why you think Venom turned out the way it did in Spider-Man 3? Because Sam Raimi didn't wanted him in the story, since it already had Sandman and Green Goblin
The editing is top tier and so on point, you encapsuled everything about the "would have been" universe of TASM beautifully
Wow, thank you!
Aunt May a spy? Gwen as Carnage? A resurrection formula? Good God…
It just wouldn’t work having to introduce a bunch of villains in one film, there was only rlly 2 in tasm 2 and it was already way too crowded
The main problem, predators like Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, and Tom Rothman will always reject and decline.

I've been waiting for this one. Thanks.
Hope you like it!
Fiege's criticism of Garfield's performance seems a little misdirected. If Garfield is required to cry or be angry, it's because he's told to be emotional by the director. Why blame the actor for doing something he is asked to do?
Your videos are all next level. Concise, informative and entertaining throughout. Congratulations on your recent and future success
Wow, thank you!
There was a video I saw which was basically what Spiderman 4 or TASM3(can't remember which one) would look like with both Tobey and Andrew as the protagonists, I'd love to see that
Fuck venom both those movies are trash 🗑
Wouldn’t that just be a repeat of NWH?
@@MarcoAce13 NWH is a movie about Spider Tom becoming the true Spider-Man, with the assistance of Tobey and Andrew appearing like 30 minutes before the end. I'm talking a full movie with Tobey and Andrew from beginning to end. They could fight Venom, I don't know.
That's not a bad idea but I will say I definitely wouldn't mind at all if they were their own films.
Id cream my pants bro that's one of my favorite comic storylines with venom and carnage and then the art is immaculate

That 5 movie plan was actually good in my opinion
I can’t believe they scrapped the 3rd movie because Andrew took a sick day. We need this series completed. He’s the perfect blend between Tom and Toby. We need Justice for the best Spider-Man

I just finished the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game on PS4 and I'd like to see what a third game would be like
After seeing Spider-Man: Lotus, I realized how good Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man really is, and after rewatching both, I think he deserves a third one.
💯

Kevin Feige: proceeds to diss Andrew's spider as not being a normal kid from queens then proceeds to transform Spider Man into Iron Man Jr
Feige isn't the genius everyone makes him out to be. Andrew got the shaft. Just like Henry Cavil did.
Spider-Man was nothing without LAURA ZISKIN
After she died during the production of TASM1, no one else was able to stop AVI ARAD from ruining everything again
He's Spiderman true greatest nemesis. 😅
they need to finish it. Garfield didnt age much. and TASM 2 was not as bad as most say. that movie is amazing
It sounds SO bizarre: but its so weird that it loops back around to sounding fun (evil head in a jar, agent aunt May, symbiots bringing people back “wrong”, Gwen as Carnage, Spiderman 2099)
It’s a bit like an extended “What If?” series
The reason infinity saga worked because there was a focus in the series. The series revolved around infinity stones and ended at it. Other shared universe movies do not work because of this same issue of not having a focused plot point.
Kevin’s comments about TASM 2 just go to show how he is not at all watching over some of the recent MCU projects (Love and Thunder, She-Hulk, etc.)

If Marc Webb doesn't return for TASM3, then Sony should let PHIL LORD and CHRIS MILLER in charge
If they let them produce the movie as well, they could save it from AVI ARAD, just like they did with SPIDER-VERSE
It’s hilarious that Kevin Feige said Andrew was “too emotional” considering how he has systematically erased any form of genuine emotion in all of his movies. If Feige had his way he probably would’ve undercut Gwen’s death with a quip no one thinks is funny.
Cool to see that some of these ideas were left on the backburner for Spider-verse
nah... Imagine how crazy it would be that at the end of kraven we get an end credit scene of andrew

The prequel sounds truly Amazing
I don't see the need for a Mary Jane in TASM, but they _could_ start a clone saga thing, with Professor Miles Warren (the Jackal) trying to clone Gwen after her death _(cuz in the comics, Warren had a pedophila crush on Gwen)._
I also see the possibility for Gwen to have spider-powers, as in the comics, Prof. Connor's old research & becomes the Jackal _(in a similar way Connors became the Lizard)._
Sure, Venom could also be there as a secondary villain, but near the end, Spider-Man & Venom could team-up against Warren (cuz Venom isn't really a villain. He's the Anti-Hero known as the Lethal Protector)
And Felicia Hardy _does_ exist in TASM, as she used to work for Harry Osborn, so Black Cat could be a thing, too.

Funny how Feige might have had a problem with Andrew's acting abilities and went with a bland actor like Holland
Andrew Garfield is easily the best actor to ever play Spiderman. Not his fault that they don’t give him a well written movie
Love all 3 Spider-Man actors. Have yet to be disappointed by a Spider-Man or Batman film. Sadly can’t say the same for TMNT and Star Wars

Kevin Feige’s criticisms of Garfield’s Peter are incredibly rich considering a few of the things he pointed out are things that would happen with Holland’s Spider-Man! 😂
People shouldn't blame Marc Webb for the failure of this franchise
They should blame AVI ARAD for stuffing so many characters for the sake of toys sales
If Sony greenlits TASM3, they need to get rid of AVI ARAD first
Or it will be just another failure
