- New Mario Kart 8 DLC Wave 5 just dropped, so here's we gotta do the only thing that makes sense: beat the courses the wrong way!

I forgot to record Sunset Wilds, it was getting pretty late when recording that's my bad. I think that one is fairly obvious though... defintiely possible because it's very flat and doesn't have anything too crazy going on!

Here’s a tip for the Tour tracks. Do lap 3 backwards
Hello you could just use a faster kart because some karts have better stats which includes speed to get further

For most impossible city tracks, its because the final lap IS backwards. Just almost finish lap 3 first.
Yeah
some city tracks end with you going backwards, meaning you wont be able to go backwards in time trials, but since some have it going the same way each time, it's possible to do
Hey bathaniel! If you didn’t already know, with the lap changing tour tracks, when the track begins you technically start at lap 3 meaning that all the lap 3 barriers come with it. That’s why on vancouver velocity, you started on lap 3, then the lap 2 route. A way to “bypass” this issue is to complete the first lap, and then turn around once you make it to the second lap, and try to beat it backwards. (Correct me if i’m wrong about the lap 3 stuff)
For the city tracks, if you would either:
A. Finish the track in a different spot
or
B. Finish going backwards
then you can't go backwards because it wouldn't make any sense like trying to go backwards at the beginning of mount wario
The thing about tour tracks is that you have to complete variants to try and go backwards. Like Tokyo Blur, you’d have to complete t 2 if you want to turn around and do 1 backwards. Don’t see how you’d do on Athens, L A ends pretty far, but Vancouver you can go from 3 all the way to the end of 1
You can land on the toilet if you garner enough speed from the previous section and then mushroom, the momentum lets you land on the seat but Lakitu picks you up instantly
for the love of god, holding down A+B and left/right will make you do donuts. you DO NOT need to hop and turn

I love how in a sense, he played through Vancouver Velocity 2 when he went backwards
Sometimes the Tour tracks let you go backwards because they go backwards on one lap, or if it’s a section track.
6:01 You can reach the toilet in Squeaky Clean Sprint on 200cc, but it doesnt matter because there are lakitu zones on the toilet seat

Funny how Vancouver Velocity R is almost a thing. They should really implement a Reverse CC in Wave 6.

You are allowed to do the courses that have you finish the same way you started backwards but the ones that finish the other way you’re not allowed to go backwards
I saw someone do Squeaky Clean Sprint Backwards! It's hard but you have to aim at a metal bar then you'll respawn at the top of you're lucky, then you use a Mushroom to get past the toilet. Don't worry, if you're only a little bit past, you'll get to the other side. Then race as normal backwards and you'll have to get on this container really carefully and then land on a pencil. Carefully back up on the led then aim yourself high enough to the yellow cloth and race normally backwards and hooray, you made it backwards. Only in 200cc

Some tour tracks in 8 deluxe aren’t programmed to go backwards due to the lap changes.

dude- squeaky clean is actually possible backwards. look it up, its actually crazy how they do it
I think squeaky clean sprint might be possible if you use the lightest combo possible

just tried this last night!
you can boost to the corner near the blue corner at the beggining of the lap and lakitu will take you to the upper route, then I think its boosting, after that is just going until the ramp before the sink where you can boost on the side to hop to the ramp and do the track

Fun fact Squeaky Clean Sprint is doable backwards but it’s not very easy
you should play them in 200cc for better jumping

Are you doing these in 150cc or 200cc? Curioud because the extra speed can make a big difference for some of these.

Have you considered using bikes for the elevation on koopa cape? since your whole vehicle would be tilted up, not just the right side

I wonder if getting 10 coins would help with really close jumps. I know the speed boost is pretty pathetic but it could be just enough.

Anyone else annoyed that some people don't get rid of the giant red ! marks from the characters or vehicles or is it just me😭
Squeaky clean sprint is possible but you have to line yourself up against a towel and lef lakuti drop you on the upper and then you can ride the toilet and than he puts you on the other side and you can ride the lap

Another entire game worth of racetracks for less than half the game's price? Pretty much a steal if you ask me.
It's not “some” courses, it's literally more courses than the base game of Mario Kart 8 had on the Wii U and for half the price of the game.
@@feder28 Not really, if I pay full price for a game, I want everything to be free inside of it instead of paying for some "extra" content
@@wafity The full game was there for years and years and it was already well worth the 60$. Now they introduced additional content for a completely reasonable extra price (or even just available for free with online play) and you're complaining?
