Luka is honestly one of my favorite characters, and I think he's a much better person for Marinette to end up with. Since he's patient and understanding. He definitely balances out Marinette's craziness.

If you ever do a Kagami redesign, I highly suggest you to make her hero suit green, blue or azure instead of red. While red dragons do exist in East Asian mythology, they are mostly associated with the sun, like Zhulong, or are associated with good luck and prosperity. The Dragon Miraculous has weather-based powers, and Asian dragons that are associated with weather like Shenlong are traditionally depicted as blue, green, or azure. Most Japanese dragon are water deities associate with rainfall and bodies of water, so having Kagami's hero outfit be blue instead of red would make way more sense. Plus we already have 3 Asian female superheroes with red hero suits. Love your redesigns!
I'd change the Rabbit Miraculous' concept to Acceleration and give it the power to change the speed of anything the user touches. It would be way less OP than what it is in the show and at the same time it would also be pretty useful and would fit Alix's personality better than time travel
I would change the rabbits miraculous to teloportation. I still like the burrow theme and I think it fits well so yeah and I know the horse miraculous is teloportation but for me I don't see horses having anything to do with reporting so ye-
One thing I would definitely change about Luka's story would be his reaction to finding out who his father is, after everything that happened i don't think he would welcome his dad with open arms and no problem after so many years not knowing who he was and after finding out what he and his mom did, so if Luka was a little sad and even angry at first not only would it be more realistic but it would help build his character, Luka puts other people's problems above his owns and he always handled everything very well, too well actually, it's hard to believe that he was never sad and frustrated with the situations he lived, so his father's revelation would be the point when he would reach the limit and after so long hiding his emotions and trying to be good for others he finally gives in and needs some time alone, he doesn't want to settle things right away and pretend he's fine like he used to, he just needs time and show his true feelings so they doesn't become a weight...

Luca really would've been perfect to teach marinette things, he's not only more chill, but you gotta remember that he's actually older than the rest of the characters, about maybe 1-2 years their senior. Even if he and marinette didn't end up together, he could've been a sort of big brother figure for her, gently guiding her, which he sort of does in the show but the writers made it so he's also lowkey enabling marinette's inappropriate behaviors (like everyone else does)

Like, I've always loved Luka, he's such a great person, super understanding (the only downside is that he constantly makes music metaphors), and in the actual show, he can do better than Mari, but the way Mari is here, and how their relationship is described, it's just super sweet.
I've been a hardcore Lukanette shipper from the moment I saw them meet in canon for the first time, and the meeting you wrote for them is equally as beautiful if not more so. Marinette and Adrien could theoretically work, but I'm personally at a point where they feel more like platonic soulmates instead of romantic ones, and as such, I think that Luka would be a far better partner for her in the long run. I could still see Marinette at least believing she's really fallen for Adrien after properly getting to know him, but she could eventually realize that her love for him isn't of a romantic variety and that things always felt more genuine and balanced with Luka. She'd have to open up to him about her identity as Ladybug, of course, and it would be up to him if he still feels the same about her after keeping that secret for so long, but if that's something he's willing to forgive, then yes, they definitely should get back together. Also, I have this dumb little headcanon that Luka is pagan and/or into witchcraft, and as such, he is a follower of the Greek God of Music, Healing and Prophecy, Apollo. That could be part of why his weapon is a lyre, and I could also interpret his time manipulation abilities as a representation of the prophecy aspect. That or him "healing" the time line by adjusting something that just happened. Even not taking his miraculous into consideration, though, I just think Luka's canon introduction in the series alone gives me slight hippie/witchy/pagan vibes. He was literally meditating when Marinette first found him!
I feel like Adrien and Marinette should stay friends bc Adrien doesn’t even like her and if he had a brain, he could see how creepy Marinette is towards him. She literally stacked up trash cans just to stop a girl from being with him. She also snuck into a party she wasn’t even invited to just to see him and be his PrInCe(or princess I forgot)I honestly think Adrienette is disgusting bc she literally stalks him and the fact that Alya supports that behavior(most of the time) is rlly just annoying and makes me angry. These writers need to give Adrien a break and make Marinette not a stalker bc that’s just weird and it’s a kids show aswell so it makes no sense why we have a stalker in it.

If you HATE two main love interests "farting around," instead of actually getting together, then watch 'The Owl House'. The main character and their love interests feel like real people, and their relationship feels really natural. They get together in early season 2, and after that, they're always shown as a cute, loving, emotionally stable, and realistic couple!! It never feels rushed or out of place because the writers clearly planned it from day one!!!!! And it's just the best show ever with an actual story, compelling, and lovable characters, and an engaging and creative world! Edit: The creator of The Owl House, Dana Terrace, worked on She-Ra and Gravity Falls alongside Alex Hirsch who is also heavily involved in The Owl House.

I think with a rewrite of miraculous, especially with the cannon you've already established, it would be a lot more meaningful for marinette and adrien to end up just as close friends, both so that marinette can realize that she doesn't HAVE to be in a romantic relationship with him, and so that adrien has someone to trust and confide in without necessarily turning it into a romantic relationship, which he probably wouldn't be interested in pursuing at all during or closely after the events of the story. I always though marinette and adrien had much more chemistry as just friends, and that marinette and luka had a much more healthy romantic relationship

I have the tiny theory/headcanon that Luka and Kagami have talked before in all that times they were left alone but we never saw it because that wasn't the focus, that's why they talk so openly and work well together in the episode Determination, because they've already talked and they've been through the same things and want to solve the problem, this would also explain what happened in the episode Optigami where Luka and Kagami entered the event together and sat together, and the group they went to was made up of couples and two friends, so we feel like they are "left over" since we never saw them talk which makes us don't see them as friends like the rest of the group, but they've already talked and that's why they feel comfortable going through the event together and sitting together without pressure.

My only *real* issue with Viperion's design is his HAIR. Luka's blue tipped hair is such a defining character trait and the fact that it receives NO change whatsoever when he transforms is like ??? it's so obviously Luka. Even if they had just changed the blue to teal to match his suit it would've been so much better. Idk it just irks me since the miraculous user's hair changing when transformed isn't uncommon so idk why they just didn't do it for him.
and now I’m team Lukanette, they just balance each other out better in this version! Luka’s calm journey-oriented personality compliments Marinette’s anxious goal-oriented personality, but they both value honesty a lot and share a creative artsy side. I feel like they’d be more communicative, especially because of Luka’s understanding personality which can get through Marinette’s stubbornness. Adrien and Marinette’s battle styles and ways of handling issues (with Adrien being more spontaneous at his core and Marinette preferring to stick to organized plans) balance each other out to make for a great partnership. But they’re both very stubborn and have to work hard to accept and trust each other’s ways of doing things. They’re also both overwhelmed messes in their own ways (Marinette dealing with stress and anxiety, Adrien dealing with strict societal expectations and neglect). Marinette really values honesty and dislikes lying to protect her secret identity, but Adrien is more used to lying (from fulfilling high standards and acting like a tame person as Adrien) so he’s more okay with maintaining a secret identity and enjoys having a persona where he can show his chaotic side. So their personalities would clash a lot and they’d have to work hard to learn to understand each other’s different perspectives.
7:03 some people think that about Kagami too, it's like they wanted to create love rivals but were afraid people would root for them too much, so they tried to make them less attractive or with some personality trait that showed us that it wasn't going to work, which wasn't very fair and I always liked them both anyway, they were my favorite characters and eventually became my favorite ship as well after I researched about it, this ship has a good theory, a good narrative potential, and characters I like and that go well together, what more could I ask?
Upon learning this character exists and upon hearing your story implications for him… I can honestly say that I vote for the Luka end goal! I’m a sucker for complimentary couples that have actually healthy dynamics! It’s 1000000x better than the melodrama and it’s so satisfying to see the conclusion to!! (Plus, your little comment about Luka saying that he’d be waiting for when Marinette was ready legit almost made me cry. That’s part of my reasoning too. Excellent work!)
I love that you kept his hero design mostly the same. Despite being a bodysuit, it has enough detail for it to be one of the better costumes in the show.
"As in, there isn't enough writing for him" I've been saying for a while that Miraculous' more well-written characters like Luka and Juleka, are only relatively well written because the writers just set them up and then didn't focus on them long enough to mess it up lmao. Oh my gosh I never realized the eyelash thing! That's why he gave me that vauge "uncanny valley" feeling. As for his suit, I think part if why it reads weird is because every part of it is vibrant compared to the concept design. Because all of it is vibrant, it reads (at least to me) a little more like a Hawaiian turtle thing instead of a snake
I think it would be better if luka is the choice for Mari to pay off the love triangle that goes in a different way than any other show that has one . Mari and luka in this rewrite sounds like good pairing and I think it could go the lumity route from owl house or moxxie and Millie’s relationship from helluva boss
In my headcanon, both Marinette and Luca are bi. So this would accompany the trait of having at least one bisexual in the pairing! (Also, Lumity and Team M&M are amazing)

If there’s one thing that remains consistent in the OG series and your series, it’s that Luka remains the superior choice. Even when watching the show it was a nice change to see Marinette relax and talk properly with a love interest over giving me second hand embarrassment when even seeing Adrien. They’re just more compatible for the reasons you’ve described over the endgame ship which feel like they get together for the sake of it
I love Luka so much he's always been way too good for Marinette and like you said doesn't inspire any change in Marinette. Your re design is amazing (per usual) and I really like how Lukanette plays out in you version. The second hand guilt from Marinette when Luka gave up his Miraculous so he wouldn't have to lie to Marinette felt like a knife.
the most accurate thing was when right before the producers introduced Kagami and Luka, they told comicon that they knew the fans would die for Luka. And they were right. He hasn't been written very much, but however little writing they did dedicate to him was so simply wholesomely wonderful, AND he's really hot and healthy with Marinette. Seriously, the fandom is really a good indication of how characters are received, and when Luka was first introduced, he was producing more romantic fanart with Marinette than adrien
I can totally see lukanette being endgame in your au. When the hawkmoth may finally be defeated and there's no major need for the miraculouses anymore. Adrien decides he wants to go see the world after being cooped up in his home city for the majority of his life. Marinette on the other hand has never really wanted to leave that much, and since there would be no more secrets between her and Luka, they could be together. Their relationship formed organically and healthy. They complete each other. Just an idea tho
1:17 From what I remember it's something mentioned and I don't know if it will appear again in the future, but one of the characters that is the brother of one of the only characters to keep a miraculous, and had to left Paris because of that, shows conversations on the internet of people who don't support Ladybug, mostly because of her failure in the episode Strikeback, even making theories and that leaves the character shaken, thinking that Ladybug could have really made his sister go by force and if Hawk Moth wins things would end. During the battle, the character uses his akumatized powers and discover that everything was really a lie and Ladybug had not intentionally done anything bad, much less sending his sister away, it was her own decision and it was necessary.
Honestly, in this rewrite, I see Adrien and Marinette having more of a sibling/friend relationship. Like yeah, she's close to Adrien but when he says "She's just a friend" the audience won't ugh every time he says that, instead we know that it's a pressured crush and Mari just wants to be friends. Besides, it's always a missed opportunity when the two mains get shipped together when they can still just have a good friendship, like Star and Marco whenever the writers weren't trying to force the ship down our throats

Luka definitely luka. I wasn't sure where you were gonna go with their relationship but as soon as you explained it, i was sold. This could be a great exploration that you can still ne amicable with an ex, and when the truth comes out with the identity stuff, it'd be an amazing milestone of your mari's emotional maturity on how they interact and talk about a possible rekindling of their relationship.
Just an addition/suggestion on how Luka and Marinette can meet! Luka and Juleka are siblings(apparently twins but Luka was older in the earlier episodes) so they can maybe meet through Juleka taking them both/them and their friend group, to a event or something maybe her and Luka's birthday, and from there they can get closer until they end up dating. Also the thing with Marinette feeling guilty about lying, actually does happen in the 5th season, it's like the 2nd or 3rd episode. The two break up because Luka doesn't like being lied to and got akumatized for it, but in the end he does understand. Also if you do Kagami, she and Adrien get together just to break up, in a similar way to Luka and Marinette. She thinks Adrien is hiding something from her and that she always covers for him, she also gets akumatized and the two break up at the end of the episode. But for your rewrite, some tips are to make her more timid or just anxious, not visibly but more mentally, as she was a pushed to be strong and more perfect by her mother. That could have more of an impact on her personality or how she presents herself. Her dynamic with Adrien is like they are very similar but Kagami is more strict but she does be more laid back at times, while Adrien is more happy or satisfied with himself, mainly with his escape as Cat Noir. (Btw I haven't rewatched the videos yet, so some of my advice could be already in the plot or against it-) And for design, I'd say her design is pretty good besides her hair and probably face, it looks a lot more smaller compared to the other characters, but that might just be me- And her hair looks like a giant, fluffy, blueberry- her bangs cover a lot of her face, but that's more of a personal preference. Also her build could be more bulky or something, as she's a rather athletic character, as her mother had her train a lot. (I edited this a lot-)

Within the romance light novel/manga/manwha scene, this sort of situation is called Second Male Lead Syndrome; where the Second Male Lead who is nicer, offers a better relationship, and is generally more liked by the fans, gets sidelined first by the Female Lead and then by the plot, rarely if ever appearing again
I've loved Lukanette since the minute I saw the two together. They have lots of chemistry,Marinette's able to talk to Luka in her calm,rational self without stuttering or feeling awkward,they have always had each other's backs and stand up for each other and over all,make each other complete. I cried at the end of "Truth". Their relationship ended before it could truly begin. Anyway,Really love the redesign and rewrite. Really fits him better. Keep on the good work.
*O O F-* decisions, decisions… When I saw your Instagram post about him I was low-key simping for this re-design but now I am just conflicted… On one hand I want Mari to get with Luka because she deserves someone like him, BUT on the other hand her and Adrian in this re-write finally getting together after all the trials and tribulations would be SO SATISFYING- though truthfully I want to pick the third secret option and just have him for myself but that’s a little unrealistic :,)

it just hit me that the Snake Miraculous its literally Ekko's Ultimate from League of Legends; and it would've been more interesting if it worked like that in the show; imagine taking the risk of re-doing a battle at the risk of the user getting damaged; would make the user to play from the back or take the risk of being frontline to have more control on a scenario but well; at the risk of taking damage and making the start of a fight more and more of a disadvantage for the team

Snakes are a form of healing, and are used as a symbol in hospitals. Maybe the snake miraculous power could be healing, and the rabbit could use burrows as a “second chance” ability.

Tbh I find it also a pet peeve for the writers to always add a new character that would be a “threat” to the main ship like, in mlb case Mari was OBVIOUSLY never going to be with Luka but they tried to make it that way. Tbh I ship Mari with jail cause of her creepy personality. Also love the new Luka redesign I liked his og design but yours look 10x better

So to me it's not that vague that they got together by the end.
Absolutely Luka in your version. After seeing them in such a good relationship and knowing she doesn't truly love Adrien I would be very confused and upset if she ended up with Adrien instead of Luka.
I flew to the comments to say i prefer luka when you asked at the end! I've always preferred them more in the show because of the balance and how comfortable Marinette seems (i always end up getting annoyed by her when she's with Adrien too) and that is shown so much more in your version!

7:00 not only he seems like a background character but he also ACTS like a Background character. There are scenes that his actions are SO weird, like, in optigami Marinette was doing the most CRAZY stuff to not get into the elevator, EVERYONE inside was like ???? Looking at her but Luka wasn’t even LOOKING 😭 He was just there with his default face looking at nowhere (or probably at the elevator buttons) I saw someone say, and I think I kinda agree, that they probably didn’t put much effort in Luka’s 3D model because they wanted people to ship adrien and Marinette (so, basically, wanted to make people think “ok Luka is ugly but adrien is not so I ship adrinette”- kinda inducing them to like more the character whose model is best). So I kinda think it was intentional lol

Also if you ever do a redesign of Alix/bunnyx and change the power of the rabbit miraculous I recommend giving it a healing power as not only would give team miracle the an actual medic (something I feel they need for during battles as the miraculous cure is very much an after-battle thing, and doesn'tseem to heal people in your rewrite) but also as a way to give it a connection to the moon rabbit (as this miracle box is supposed to be tied to Chinese culture).
Now you just have to do Kagami and I'll be completely satisfied...they would be even more beautiful together with your skills 😍 also, what you said about Luka and Marinette complementing each other is more or less the basis of Lukagami, i like how they are different but could complement each other and have a strong relationship because of that(not to mention that the idea they want to convey is that Kagami can choose whatever she wants and not what her mother and the others want, so dating someone so different as Luka would show her mom and others that she can be free and happy with whoever she wants).
I think that Luka and marionette would be better, here’s how it could go marionette remembering that time she spent with Luca she would start to understand what real love feels like and that the “feelings” she had for Adrian was not what real love is. You can axon from there.

One thing I would definitely change about Luka's story would be his reaction to finding out who his father is, after everything that happened i don't think he would welcome his dad with open arms and no problem after so many years not knowing who he was and after finding out what he and his mom did, so if Luka was a little sad and even angry at first not only would it be more realistic but it would help build his character, Luka puts other people's problems above his owns and he always handled everything very well, too well actually, it's hard to believe that he was never sad and frustrated with the situations he lived, so his father's revelation would be the point when he would reach the limit and after so long hiding his emotions and trying to be good for others he finally gives in and needs some time alone, he doesn't want to settle things right away and pretend he's fine like he used to, he just needs time and show his true feelings so they doesn't become a weight...

Luca really would've been perfect to teach marinette things, he's not only more chill, but you gotta remember that he's actually older than the rest of the characters, about maybe 1-2 years their senior. Even if he and marinette didn't end up together, he could've been a sort of big brother figure for her, gently guiding her, which he sort of does in the show but the writers made it so he's also lowkey enabling marinette's inappropriate behaviors (like everyone else does)

My dude, in your version, Mari should totally be with Luka. Like, I've always loved Luka, he's such a great person, super understanding (the only downside is that he constantly makes music metaphors), and in the actual show, he can do better than Mari, but the way Mari is here, and how their relationship is described, it's just super sweet.
I've been a hardcore Lukanette shipper from the moment I saw them meet in canon for the first time, and the meeting you wrote for them is equally as beautiful if not more so. Marinette and Adrien could theoretically work, but I'm personally at a point where they feel more like platonic soulmates instead of romantic ones, and as such, I think that Luka would be a far better partner for her in the long run. I could still see Marinette at least believing she's really fallen for Adrien after properly getting to know him, but she could eventually realize that her love for him isn't of a romantic variety and that things always felt more genuine and balanced with Luka. She'd have to open up to him about her identity as Ladybug, of course, and it would be up to him if he still feels the same about her after keeping that secret for so long, but if that's something he's willing to forgive, then yes, they definitely should get back together.
Also, I have this dumb little headcanon that Luka is pagan and/or into witchcraft, and as such, he is a follower of the Greek God of Music, Healing and Prophecy, Apollo. That could be part of why his weapon is a lyre, and I could also interpret his time manipulation abilities as a representation of the prophecy aspect. That or him "healing" the time line by adjusting something that just happened. Even not taking his miraculous into consideration, though, I just think Luka's canon introduction in the series alone gives me slight hippie/witchy/pagan vibes. He was literally meditating when Marinette first found him!

If you HATE two main love interests "farting around," instead of actually getting together, then watch 'The Owl House'. The main character and their love interests feel like real people, and their relationship feels really natural. They get together in early season 2, and after that, they're always shown as a cute, loving, emotionally stable, and realistic couple!! It never feels rushed or out of place because the writers clearly planned it from day one!!!!! And it's just the best show ever with an actual story, compelling, and lovable characters, and an engaging and creative world!

I think with a rewrite of miraculous, especially with the cannon you've already established, it would be a lot more meaningful for marinette and adrien to end up just as close friends, both so that marinette can realize that she doesn't HAVE to be in a romantic relationship with him, and so that adrien has someone to trust and confide in without necessarily turning it into a romantic relationship, which he probably wouldn't be interested in pursuing at all during or closely after the events of the story. I always though marinette and adrien had much more chemistry as just friends, and that marinette and luka had a much more healthy romantic relationship

I have the tiny theory/headcanon that Luka and Kagami have talked before in all that times they were left alone but we never saw it because that wasn't the focus, that's why they talk so openly and work well together in the episode Determination, because they've already talked and they've been through the same things and want to solve the problem, this would also explain what happened in the episode Optigami where Luka and Kagami entered the event together and sat together, and the group they went to was made up of couples and two friends, so we feel like they are "left over" since we never saw them talk which makes us don't see them as friends like the rest of the group, but they've already talked and that's why they feel comfortable going through the event together and sitting together without pressure.

My only *real* issue with Viperion's design is his HAIR. Luka's blue tipped hair is such a defining character trait and the fact that it receives NO change whatsoever when he transforms is like ??? it's so obviously Luka. Even if they had just changed the blue to teal to match his suit it would've been so much better. Idk it just irks me since the miraculous user's hair changing when transformed isn't uncommon so idk why they just didn't do it for him.
and now I’m team Lukanette, they just balance each other out better in this version! Luka’s calm journey-oriented personality compliments Marinette’s anxious goal-oriented personality, but they both value honesty a lot and share a creative artsy side. I feel like they’d be more communicative, especially because of Luka’s understanding personality which can get through Marinette’s stubbornness.
Adrien and Marinette’s battle styles and ways of handling issues (with Adrien being more spontaneous at his core and Marinette preferring to stick to organized plans) balance each other out to make for a great partnership. But they’re both very stubborn and have to work hard to accept and trust each other’s ways of doing things. They’re also both overwhelmed messes in their own ways (Marinette dealing with stress and anxiety, Adrien dealing with strict societal expectations and neglect). Marinette really values honesty and dislikes lying to protect her secret identity, but Adrien is more used to lying (from fulfilling high standards and acting like a tame person as Adrien) so he’s more okay with maintaining a secret identity and enjoys having a persona where he can show his chaotic side. So their personalities would clash a lot and they’d have to work hard to learn to understand each other’s different perspectives.
7:03 some people think that about Kagami too, it's like they wanted to create love rivals but were afraid people would root for them too much, so they tried to make them less attractive or with some personality trait that showed us that it wasn't going to work, which wasn't very fair and I always liked them both anyway, they were my favorite characters and eventually became my favorite ship as well after I researched about it, this ship has a good theory, a good narrative potential, and characters I like and that go well together, what more could I ask?
Upon learning this character exists and upon hearing your story implications for him… I can honestly say that I vote for the Luka end goal! I’m a sucker for complimentary couples that have actually healthy dynamics! It’s 1000000x better than the melodrama and it’s so satisfying to see the conclusion to!!

In my headcanon, both Marinette and Luca are bi. So this would accompany the trait of having at least one bisexual in the pairing! (Also, Lumity and Team M&M are amazing)

If there’s one thing that remains consistent in the OG series and your series, it’s that Luka remains the superior choice. Even when watching the show it was a nice change to see Marinette relax and talk properly with a love interest over giving me second hand embarrassment when even seeing Adrien. They’re just more compatible for the reasons you’ve described over the endgame ship which feel like they get together for the sake of it
I love Luka so much he's always been way too good for Marinette and like you said doesn't inspire any change in Marinette. Your re design is amazing (per usual) and I really like how Lukanette plays out in you version. The second hand guilt from Marinette when Luka gave up his Miraculous so he wouldn't have to lie to Marinette felt like a knife.

the most accurate thing was when right before the producers introduced Kagami and Luka, they told comicon that they knew the fans would die for Luka. And they were right. He hasn't been written very much, but however little writing they did dedicate to him was so simply wholesomely wonderful, AND he's really hot and healthy with Marinette. Seriously, the fandom is really a good indication of how characters are received, and when Luka was first introduced, he was producing more romantic fanart with Marinette than adrien

Their relationship formed organically and healthy. They complete each other. Just an idea tho

1:17 From what I remember it's something mentioned and I don't know if it will appear again in the future, but one of the characters that is the brother of one of the only characters to keep a miraculous, and had to left Paris because of that, shows conversations on the internet of people who don't support Ladybug, mostly because of her failure in the episode Strikeback, even making theories and that leaves the character shaken, thinking that Ladybug could have really made his sister go by force and if Hawk Moth wins things would end. During the battle, the character uses his akumatized powers and discover that everything was really a lie and Ladybug had not intentionally done anything bad, much less sending his sister away, it was her own decision and it was necessary.
Honestly, in this rewrite, I see Adrien and Marinette having more of a sibling/friend relationship. Like yeah, she's close to Adrien but when he says "She's just a friend" the audience won't ugh every time he says that, instead we know that it's a pressured crush and Mari just wants to be friends. Besides, it's always a missed opportunity when the two mains get shipped together when they can still just have a good friendship, like Star and Marco whenever the writers weren't trying to force the ship down our throats

This could be a great exploration that you can still ne amicable with an ex, and when the truth comes out with the identity stuff, it'd be an amazing milestone of your mari's emotional maturity on how they interact and talk about a possible rekindling of their relationship.

Just an addition/suggestion on how Luka and Marinette can meet!
Luka and Juleka are siblings(apparently twins but Luka was older in the earlier episodes) so they can maybe meet through Juleka taking them both/them and their friend group, to a event or something maybe her and Luka's birthday, and from there they can get closer until they end up dating. Also the thing with Marinette feeling guilty about lying, actually does happen in the 5th season, it's like the 2nd or 3rd episode. The two break up because Luka doesn't like being lied to and got akumatized for it, but in the end he does understand.
Also if you do Kagami, she and Adrien get together just to break up, in a similar way to Luka and Marinette. She thinks Adrien is hiding something from her and that she always covers for him, she also gets akumatized and the two break up at the end of the episode. But for your rewrite, some tips are to make her more timid or just anxious, not visibly but more mentally, as she was a pushed to be strong and more perfect by her mother. That could have more of an impact on her personality or how she presents herself.
Her dynamic with Adrien is like they are very similar but Kagami is more strict but she does be more laid back at times, while Adrien is more happy or satisfied with himself, mainly with his escape as Cat Noir. (Btw I haven't rewatched the videos yet, so some of my advice could be already in the plot or against it-)
And for design, I'd say her design is pretty good besides her hair and probably face, it looks a lot more smaller compared to the other characters, but that might just be me-
And her hair looks like a giant, fluffy, blueberry- her bangs cover a lot of her face, but that's more of a personal preference.
Also her build could be more bulky or something, as she's a rather athletic character, as her mother had her train a lot.

They have lots of chemistry,Marinette's able to talk to Luka in her calm,rational self without stuttering or feeling awkward,they have always had each other's backs and stand up for each other and over all,make each other complete. I cried at the end of "Truth". Their relationship ended before it could truly begin. Anyway,Really love the redesign and rewrite. Really fits him better. Keep on the good work.

it just hit me that the Snake Miraculous its literally Ekko's Ultimate from League of Legends; and it would've been more interesting if it worked like that in the show; imagine taking the risk of re-doing a battle at the risk of the user getting damaged; would make the user to play from the back or take the risk of being frontline to have more control on a scenario but well; at the risk of taking damage and making the start of a fight more and more of a disadvantage for the team

Snakes are a form of healing, and are used as a symbol in hospitals. Maybe the snake miraculous power could be healing, and the rabbit could use burrows as a “second chance” ability.

7:00 not only he seems like a background character but he also ACTS like a Background character. There are scenes that his actions are SO weird, like, in optigami Marinette was doing the most CRAZY stuff to not get into the elevator, EVERYONE inside was like ???? Looking at her but Luka wasn’t even LOOKING 😭 He was just there with his default face looking at nowhere (or probably at the elevator buttons)
I saw someone say, and I think I kinda agree, that they probably didn’t put much effort in Luka’s 3D model because they wanted people to ship adrien and Marinette (so, basically, wanted to make people think “ok Luka is ugly but adrien is not so I ship adrinette”- kinda inducing them to like more the character whose model is best). So I kinda think it was intentional lol

Personally i've always thought Adrinett was over ratted and always liked Luknett better. I think that Luka might be better endgame for your series since her crush was real from the beginning
The fact that the side pairings are so much better than the main pairing is incredibly frustraiting and very telling of the absolutely wasted potential of a good story.

Also if you ever do a redesign of Alix/bunnyx and change the power of the rabbit miraculous I recommend giving it a healing power as not only would give team miracle the an actual medic (something I feel they need for during battles as the miraculous cure is very much an after-battle thing, and doesn'tseem to heal people in your rewrite) but also as a way to give it a connection to the moon rabbit (as this miracle box is supposed to be tied to Chinese culture).

Now you just have to do Kagami and I'll be completely satisfied...they would be even more beautiful together with your skills 😍 also, what you said about Luka and Marinette complementing each other is more or less the basis of Lukagami, i like how they are different but could complement each other and have a strong relationship because of that(not to mention that the idea they want to convey is that Kagami can choose whatever she wants and not what her mother and the others want, so dating someone so different as Luka would show her mom and others that she can be free and happy with whoever she wants).

I think that Luka and marionette would be better, here’s how it could go marionette remembering that time she spent with Luca she would start to understand what real love feels like and that the “feelings” she had for Adrian was not what real love is. You can axon from there.
