After owning Tacomas all my life which I really enjoyed and loved but due to the need of more hauling and payload needs I just upgraded to a 2024 limited TRD off road 4x4 crew max tundra and I’ll tell you what I’m very impressed with this machine , it did come with a factory 3inch lift from Toyota and must say this truck has so much torque down low in the rpm ,so far I took a road trip that was 1600 miles and the tundra was smooth and quiet super comfy and I averaged around 21 mpg running 70mph . Toyota knocked it out of the park on this tundra super happy with it .

Definitely a Game Changer.. from the interior/gadgetry, to the fact that even with a Twin Turbo, powerful engine, you still only need 87 octane. I applaud you Toyota. The White/Red color combination is reminiscent of Porsche.
Also, glad you mentioned the Fanboys "K02" Which are terrible in the winter.
So because it sounds like the chatter in previous CC/MTS modules, is now reduced with software update/upgrade? Could that be integrated into Current 4Runner/Lexus models? Or am I still half asleep?

I've had a 2010 Tundra SR5 for 10+ years. My biggest complaint with it are:
    1. Not enough lateral support in the seats which results in sliding around some.
    2. 58 beeps to let you know the seatbelt isn't latched.
    3. Having to press UNLOCK 2 times on the key fob to unlock all doors.
    4. Automatic lock after a certain amount of time not opening the truck.
    5. I put a 3" lift on mine and STILL can't get tires as large as you can get under a stock Ford F-150. Toyota needs to make the wheel wells larger (or whatever needs to be done) to allow owners to install larger tires without having to put a 4" lift or higher.
I am really digging the 2022 TRD Pro. I am hoping I can get one. Hopefully it won't be priced as high as the GMC AT4, Ford Raptor or RAM TRX. I am really hoping the TRD Pro is around $60K max.

"While Americans can’t seem to get enough of the mid-size pickups from Japanese automakers, they absolutely shun their full-size trucks. According to data from WardsIntelligence, the highest market share Toyota has seen with Tundra was 9.1% and that was in 2007. It currently hovers in the 5% range. It’s even worse for Nissan. The best the Titan was able to muster was 3.5% of the market in 2005. Today it’s at 1.5%. With the Detroit Three commanding 94% of full-size pickup sales this year, it might almost make more sense for Toyota and Nissan to share a large truck platform." Autoline

It's good the climate controls are still really buttons. In the Ram my neighbor must go in his big screen for that... But the screen went black, no parts... He drove all summer without AC.

Always buy base model, don't ever buy upgraded trim, you don't need all that fake leather, tech stuff and a television on your dashboard for extra option $10-$15k upgrade price. if you drive safe like a pro, you wont need blind spotter mirror or auto braking with lane driving assist. Save your money because gas prices are going to hit $7.59 a gallon at the pump by next year mid 2022.

I am glad the CRAWL CONTROL went quiet. I know it works but the old system was so irritating. I love quiet more and more as I get older. I still like my 20 with the V8. I am glad the bean counters put the driver grab handle back on. I wish my 20 had it.

  • @fiftyshadesofurban
    @fiftyshadesofurban 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

21:20 People really need to stop saying "If you get the SR5 you can still get the off road features by adding the TRD Off Road package." You don't add anything. You don't have a choice of adding any packages or adding anything to the truck.
You have to buy the trucks as is and HOPE that you can find an SR5 with TRD Off Road Package. In my experience? It's next to impossible to find ANYTHING with TRD Off Road package unless it comes with it already (like TRD Pro).. If you want anything that's optional it's impossible to get with Toyota.
There's no such thing as "adding a package"

At 2:06 in the video you show footage of what appears to be a base model SR from the rear. I'd love to know if you had more footage of that or if that's from Toyota as promo footage where I could find more. That is the first time on ANY video I've seen a color-matched A-pillar and I think I'd personally prefer that.
