This guy always made me laugh, I always liked to think he just had OCD. "The servents of FILTH will surely return" "UGH! Their filthiness stains me" "They must not polute my waters". Hahaha

I don't play anymore but I follow Nobbel to keep up to date with the story, and I had forgotten how poor the dialogue always was. Every powerful NPC has to remind you that you are just a puny, useless mortal incapable of harming them or doing anything remarkable.. after you have been doing those things for many years. You've defeated demons, dragons, titanic constructs, old gods and their minions; all of whom called you some variation of worthless and weak, so why would any force on Azeroth underestimate you? Yet Neptulon still doesn't have respect for you. You, who defeated Al-Akir. You, who defeated Ragnaros. You, who defeated Deathwing. At some point, you'd think he'd take notice.

I mean they might of been fighting in far off places like Jania was, the ocean is a massive place and legion dumping a doomday device there would likely of been thawted by Neptulon, same for all the other lords with their respective domains,

they abandoned the underwater Neptulon raid idea because the fans hated the underwater zone. i loved it so much though. the design. the big ass old god demons you go inside. it was awesome and huge i wanted more :(
after u got the seahorse it was pretty good... thought the underwater area was pretty
Nobbel can you expand on the fifth element? This is the first time I’ve heard of the spirit element and it being devoured. Maybe there isn’t a lot there for a whole video but I’d like to hear more about what there is to know on the subject.
Church8291 its just the element that made them not fight and it was needed for the world soul to grow, not much else
Landen James was it just em ruined in one of the books? It didn’t have any significance beyond being nutrition for the world soul? Just seems like there could be so much more there. I just got curious cause this is the first I’ve heard of it.
@@_Church_ It's literally Chi that the Monks use. That's one of the main reasons Pandaren can be Shaman. You could technically call Monks an offshoot of Shamanism (Windwalkers can even invoke the elements of earth wind and fire).
Just look at the story of draenor. They didn't lose their fifth element.

at 11:30 most people are surprised when I tell them that Neptulon gets captured in this fight. Most people are looking down during the fight and he disappears without saying anything.

Hey Nobbel do you think it’s possible that Elune might be one of the First Ones mentioned in Shadowlands? The idea came to me after learning that Elune is known to worlds beyond Azeroth.
At this point we have no idea what elune is, fingers crossed shadowlands is going to explain so a first one...maybe!
I'm putting money on Elune being something akin to the Old God's for the Light.
Isn't Elune just one of the Naaru?

so let me get this straight, he got swallowed up by the Kraken and he manage to free himself only in beta for Legion??..... blizzard....such a fail....
The beta for Legion had a few different sequences that were cut before the final product. Baine and Mayla flirted with each other in High Mountain, Wrathion was originally in the cave of Deathwing and not Ebyssian, and other changes simply didn't make the final product. I feel like they planned to expand Ozumat's story, as Ozumat himself also shows up later in BFA, as another being watching Nazjatar behind the wall of water.

Basically the element of Life. The Orcs worshipped the element of spirit as a higher form than the other four spirits, as Draenor’s lack of a World Soul meant the element of spirit could sustain life without being consumed.
Yes it's basically Chi that the Monks use. Harmonising energy of life.

Now the elements can role the nature
I think the elements are planets original protectors like an immune system as they seem to be like you said the oldest things to naturally exist on them and when the element spirit which should naturally be there they naturally work with the other beings and each other. Without the Titans interfering they were the only line of defence to protect Azeroth knowingly or not.
The elemental lords losing to the old gods doesnt make sense to me. The stone mother alone seems like should have defeated them, every inch of earth is under her command so she could've popped them like a zit

A couple of missing points. Didn't Neptulon command the kvaldir in the Val Sharah questline? How did he manage that over Helya? Weren't the naga pumping water off of Outland for some power play on Neptulon? (The steamvaults and such) Did anything come from that?
Neptulon has no control over outland (or draenor)
If that is hinted in quest text, then that's something they retconned probably, as Aborius is the elemental lord of water on that planet.
Would the Stone of Tides be the TideStone from the Eye Of Azshara? Or they 2 completely different things?

I don't think we can see Elemental Lords in Shadowlands or any other cosmic force because Shadowlands' origins are related to these,so they are beyond the afterlife.Shortly,only mortals go in Shadowlands.
where is it stated that the element of spirit has been consumed, Nobbel?
One quick question, sorry I don't play anymore just saw this video. If Titan soul is hungry child to feed and consumed Spirit, the Fifth Element. Does that also mean that She can eat other elementals not lords since we defeated but little ones?
So is the frost lord a real thing or just.made up for a holiday. The frost scythe naga dungeon frost lord

Technically Al’Akir wasn’t the first wind lord nor was he the elemental lord that worked with Ragnaros against the old gods, that was actually Thunderaan who was killed later by Ragnaros

I'm still salty about Blizzard removing the conclusion to Vashj'ir and replacing it with a generic kill quest. The reason they did it was because some players experienced bugs during the submarine ride, that they could have easily fixed. Many people hate Vashj'ir because of the underwater combat, but the epic conclusion at the end made it worth the trouble, at least for me. Now I don't want to level up any characters in Vashj'ir again. If Blizzard gives us Classic Cataclysm at some point in the future, I might play it for the TRUE Vashj'ir conclusion alone, and for the Cataclysm nostalgia of course.

I thought the Elemental Lords fought for survival against each other after Azeroth consumed most of the Spirit Element.
Their was a fifth one I'm not going lie that makes a lot of sense if you think about it .

And G'huun is a false old god artificially and accidentally created by MOTHER.
Ghun is sort of like a tackling dummy. What you practice on before facing the real thing.
We have pretty great stories for Ragnaros, and Neptulon, and Al'Akir while short was not bad because we had connecting pieces of Thunderaan and stuff in Uldum... but I feel like Therazane is just giga ignored. I wish we could have awesome videos like this about Therazane but she's just simply too irrelevant! And she shouldn't be!
Kind of fits the whole stone concept though. Sit back unmovable and stuborn until they need to act.
@@narfnarf agreed, my frustration is more toward the fact that storywriters have not forced her to act then. My issue isn’t that her and rheir personality represent being “solid”, it’s that writers haven’t forced their hand to give us something interesting for the final piece of the elemental lords

Hah, yeah and with the leveling revamp, maybe Nobbel could make a "previously on Warcraft" for each expansion, explaining the essential characters/events. Ideally Blizzard themselves would do that, and permit us to run the endgame raids in a five player "story" mode (maybe with NPC replacements for solo) but that's not going to happen.
Neptulon the 4th best elemental lord! After Ragnaros, Al'akir and Therazane.
lmao, Neptulon is the only one who defied Nzoth, while other three elemental "lords" bended like cowards.
Neptulon's the most powerful out of the 3 though
But neptulon is the only one to get dragged off by a dungeon boss squid monster!
Iceheart128 knowing he probably couldn’t win, but still stand against nzoth is what make neptulon different.
@@president-for-life Ragnaros and Al'akir would have stood against him as well if it wasn't in their nature to be chaotic. The best way to burn down the world is to side with a powerful being who you know can help you get there.
