It's not SEATED until the jurors plus alternates are all selected. They won't begin the trial without the alternates. I GUARANTEE, they will use several alternates too!

@@autumnleaves8553 My point is...There is a reasonable hope that DJT will also serve time for his part, since Cohen already did, as his co conspirator. He should be in jail for witness and jury tampering by intimidation. That is also a crime and should be charged as such...I think he should have already been reeled into a holding cell for breaking the judges orders. I honestly don't think the justice system knows what to do with a defendant with a right to secret service protection. Can the federal Marshalls or state police serve in the same capacity? There is no road map for how to handle this. However, I think maybe the judge put off the gag order hearing to research how to legally detain him prior to a conviction. Next week should be interesting, the judge has to make a ruling after hearing from the defense.
