The Shah has invited us to a royal banquet in Susa. The music will accompany us late into the night while the food is plenty and the wine flows freely.
It's a wonderful successor to the previous Persian theme i am also so glad they are among the release Civs this time around, after all this is one of the most primary civilizations to appear on the world stage.
This music takes me back to the Achaemenid era and the golden age of Iran and the Persian Empire, and I enjoy this music completely and can't wait to play ❤
What if, one night, in your sacred space You call me forth to your hidden embrace? You sit by my side, let me rest by yours A solace for years my heart endures Though old and weak, let me not be denied For in your grief, my youth has died
I think how it is is we’re getting the more period-specific Civs, and then the leaders are representing the wide umbrella of that entire civilization For instance, we could get the Achaemenids and/or Sassanids as playable Civs, but the Persian leader will represent all historical iterations of the Persian civilization
Are there any indians here, specifically those familiar with Hinduism, some parts of this soundtrack sound soo much like this one religious song, i cant recall the name.
Indian here, I can't recognize the similarity but part of why I love traditional Persian music is because some of its influences in Hindustani music are apparent!
When a woman could walk around Iran unveiled without being arrested, thrown in a van, and disappeared. Oh wait, that was also the case a mere fifty years ago. A long, long history of civilization. Today's Iran is the exception.
AI. Look at the art of Rome and you will be amazed at how historically wrong it is. A mysterious warrior in the background with a strange medieval-looking shield tied to a horse, and a centurion in front, with a Macedonian-style helmet and a random spear on his back.(there is literally no place to attach a spear there, he is wearing a cape (not to mention that Romans did not use spears in the imperial period, much less with that tip style)).
@@kaykysoares9152 I don't think so, all the art shown so far looks too good to be AI. Plus, civ games were never perfect in their historical accuracy, have you seen Julius Caesar armor in Civ 6?
It's theorized that the Indus Valley civilization had access to bananas. They were also available in various areas of West Asia in limited extents before Islam. All of that is to say that it's odd, but not impossible that there would have been bananas available (even if only as an oddity) in a Persian palace during the Achaemenid period. Having said all that, it's likely just a mistake. Should have been just a bowl of pomegranates.

The best feeling in the world and you described it...
Persia has always been my favorite civ, but the music in VI was especially epic. Good to hear some of it in this theme.
For anyone wondering about the name of the song(s), I believe it’s a mix between Chaharpareh Mahur and Naveye Navaye
Great call, thanks!
Awesome i loved this theme in civ 6
Good to have it back!

I love how I mistook this for a Farya Faraji track for a hot moment
Genuinely wonder what he thinks of the various Civ soundtracks for Persia.
Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds.
Tnx you civ . Im a persian and old fan of this series ☀️🦁
Just incredible attention to detail.
Finally, I've been waiting for this one
What used to be majestic... and now it is what it is... may the real Persia rise again 🙏🏽
got DAMN this soundtrack hits
Long live persia 🎉❤
Best song in the game
name of the songs: chaharpareh mahoor + navaei navaei
It feels like im in heaven with my love and god

Such an underrated soundtrack

Well done, great track.
This will stand the test of time!
It sounds like a mix of the main themes of persia from civ 5 and 6
Civ 6 is back
Beautiful 🔥
This is nice :)
love it.
Awesome!
great
😍😍😍 beautiful
It’s a bit disappointing that the Civ is called “Persia” and not “Achemanids”.
Especially because Nader Shah was in Civ VI.

Probably hint that we ain't gonna get Sassanids or Qajars, Persia is singular unlike India and China, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
Maybe they'll change it if they add modern Persia in DLC
awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Morgh-e Sahar is the name of the song right?
I don't know much about music theory or Notes, but some parts of this soundtrack are from parts of music in *Navayi Navayi* by Bijan Bijani.
It'd be so much easier if they would just have the names in the description or in the video.
No morghe sahar was used in civ v
But in the middle of the track there are parts of Navaee playing
It sounds like Morghe Sahar at the beginning but I think it's an original composition, although certainly based on existing Persian folk songs
No its not
I think most people forget ancient persia was pagan very different from now very beautiful music though

Ngl kinda wished the lady in the illustration to wear something more colourful. The again I might googled the wrong period?
Persia has history thousands of years older than Islam. One day it will shine again
One day...
This is not as deep and moody as the others. You can easily play it at your house party ❤ i will become Coin Xerxes and through a big ass party
Is the stringed instrument I hear a bandura?

... unless that woman got on the wrong side of the SAVAK. Civilization in Iran died with the loss of Mossadegh, not the Shah.
LFG❤
