Jethro (Max Baer jr.) was my Aunt and Uncle's backyard fence neighbor, the cement pond "pool" from The Beverly Hillbillies episodes was moved and put into that Van Nuys homes backyard. I was only 11 or so but, I got lifted up to look in at that pool. I love Dearly Departed anything, thank you Jordan and Scott!

You and your co-hosts covered a lot of very interesting places in this vlog, Jordan - thank you! I have fond memories of the Troubadour, as it was one of the first places I went to with friends after moving to L.A. Love all the history in this city, but wish they were better at preserving it.
Raleigh Studios used to be called California Studios (in the 50’s), Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Have Gun Will Travel were all filmed as well. My mom used to work in the office that was at the entrance of the parking lot, she got to know many of the actors there! Best of all, she met my dad, who used to install the phone lines on the lot. 😇 So cool to see it’s still a working filming lot! So much history, especially if one loves old western shows!
That was incredibly cool. I love that it's not just movie history, but music as well (BIG GnR fan). Thank you guys so much for the work that goes into filming and editing, etc. It always makes me happy to see a new upload!

Another great video. Every Saturday night when I was a teenager. My friends, and I would be at the clubs on the Sunset Strip. You showed Slayer during your Country Club vlog, which I was at that show. They end their career tomorrow night at the Forum.

I bet there are a few old movie star ghosts wondering around those old sound stages, dressing rooms etc. Glad the old RKO globe has survived and the lovely old buildings. I wonder what those old movie star ghosts would think of Hollywood and the way the studios are now. I bet they would be turning in their graves. Great vlog Jordan.
I am a new subscriber. I have been watching several past videos. Love them! Some of the houses you visit, not much can be seen from the street, have you thought about adding a view from Google Earth? I did that after your video of Pickfair. I know it’s a different house, but loved seeing the grounds. Same with the Charlie Chaplin Breakaway House.
The bracket hanging on the Red Studios is the one for the door to Our Miss Brooks. I Love Lucy was next door. Right now, the Mad About You reboot is using the Lucy soundstage there.
Hey Jordan..Have you ever done a video on the old "Garden of Allah"? I know they tore it down years ago..but some of the stories and the people that stayed at that place are so interesting!! I would love to see you do a video about it!That place was around when they were still doing silent movies..I wish they would have left that place standing.

Finally got to see Marylin's orphanage. She spoke of it often. Interesting to see the view she saw when being able look out to the Paramount Studios.
