      Just wonderful, I've been looking for "weight loss for women over forty" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Viyemily Mature Mansonella - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my colleague got excellent success with it.

      When it comes to slimming down quickly, there are a lot of sites claiming they offer information. While most of it costs nothing, you actually get what you pay for these days! I was tired of all the games, so I put some cash aside and decided to buy The Venus Factor. Boy I'm thankful I did! I've truly reached my slimming goals and the excess weight isn't ever coming back! Sound great for you? Go here to look at the video for more info. badassbutton.com/74-Weight-Loss-Guide-463

      I hate complicated diet programs or the ones in which you have to purchase food from them - and keep purchasing it. I have tried those diets previously and they never helped me. That's why I'm so grateful I discovered The Venus Factor last month. I've finally arrived at my second milestone and would like to share this phenomenal weight loss system with someone who is having trouble shedding pounds. Have you tried being on a diet and still ended up gaining weight? This is not surprising. I had been watching this informative video the other day and I discovered that males and females need to shed weight slightly in different ways. This may be the reason why you haven't succeeded. If you'd like to gather more information, check this page to watch the video clip. badassbutton.com/78-Weight-Loss-Guide-131

      I'm not a stupid person, but one thing I do not like about a lot of diet systems is the fact that they aren't direct to the point. That is why I was really excited about The Venus Factor. Dr. C has put together a plan with workable steps - do this after which do that. I followed the advice and I've been shedding weight! It's all too easy since I don't need to avoid "bad foods" altogether. Would like to know more? Visit here and check it out for yourself. badassbutton.com/32-Weight-Loss-Guide-187

    This video is spot on, Joanna. Let me add this: I think it's much more effective if we simply multiply our BMR to 1.2 (sedentary multiplier) regardless of our real activity level. This way, you'll be able to count all calories burned through exercise. It's because if someone labels himself wrongly as "moderately active", he ends up calculating his maintenance calories much higher than it truly is, plus he tends to record calories burned in his workouts "twice", which prevents any weight loss from happening (it's a long story). Personally what has worked for me and other people I know that tried caloric restriction is to understate your activity multiplier to a sedentary level of 1.2. This way your maintenance calories are much lower, and if it's somehow too low to sustain daily, that's when you count calories burned in exercise so you can eat a little bit more (but not much) then balancing out half of the calorie deficit with exercise (I prefer having a 250 calorie deficit from the diet, and then burn +250 calories by jogging or walking daily). Also, it is much better to put majority of your calorie deficit on carbohydrates more than any other macronutrient (meaning you cut back 250 carb calories per day but not much on fat and protein). I lost 5 lbs in 3 weeks doing this. I do hope I'm making sense? :) By the way, for men there is another simplistic way to do this, and that is to take your body weight in pounds, then multiply by 12 -- the answer will pretty much be your maintenance calories. Try it. Thanks for the video, by the way!

      Verniel Cutar thank you so much for this comment, it’s so enlightening, with the activity level factors ppl are indeed counting cals burned by workouts twice
      Although the simplified BMR formula isn’t a safe bet as it only takes the age factor into consideration

      Thank you so much Verniel, you answered the question that was on my mind for days and it is best to calculate calorie intake for sedentary life and then minus the exercise burnt❤

    This is the video I needed all along, I have started to lose weight since May and the initial weight loss was big--as expected--but now it slowed down and I'm just maintaining, better than gaining but I was super confused how I needed to change my calories again. This information you gave provides us a hint to what number our calories should be estimating! Thank you, I will now continue my journey to 130! Currently 172, highest weight 184

    listen. you can eat pretty much whatever you want. the catch is to stay within a specific caloric limit. thats pretty much what the video is saying. i started counting calories on new years day and as of January15th, i dropped from 265 to 258. and this was with me not exercising much. i have been eating burgers, pizzas, tv dinners, hot pockets, going out to eat. hell. today i had a double whopper with cheese from burger king before i went to work lol. like i said. u have to limit the calories. wanna know an easy trick? if u go to lets say..burger king and u order a sandwhich, dont get any fries with it. just get the sandwich by itself and ask for a cup of water! the reason why i said to just get the sandwich alone, is because when u add in fries and a drink, thats already well over 1000 calories! thats how extra calories and weight gain sneek up on people. eat what you want, but be sure to limit the calorie intake and drink only water. WATER!!!! WAAATAAAAHH! water will ensure that u stay within the limit

    Hi, Joanna :) Just wanted to say a massive thank you for putting this out there. I am drastically overweight and feel rubbish about myself but also am discouraged by how much I need to lose. Your video encouraged me to start in small increments, not try anything drastic, and to keep going. Is it alright if I keep you updated on my progress every 4 weeks ? I'm not telling my husband I'm doing this because I want it to be a surprise for our 11th anniversary next Feb, and feel I need to be accountable to someone if that makes sense. Thank you.

    I love your videos and I LOVE YOU! Thanks a lot, you really inspired me! I've been on a diet since like forever, and been doin some workouts but only lost 5 kilograms only in last summer break (lost weight only in two months of 3 diet and workout years!!) It was because in this summer break I had time to workout everyday but also ATE LESS THAN 1000 CALORIES PER DAY, which now I know is very wrong! I had so many wrong ideas about diet and exercise, and thanks to your videos I've changed some of them!! Thaaaaannkkk youuuu

      Can one of you guys maybe help me with this? (anyone, pls):
      -Is it necessary to weigh your food while in a calorie deficit? Because the problem I have is... I simply don't have a scale and don't really plan on having one. So I am trying to be in one without using a scale.
      -Do you think that is possible to be in one without a scale?
      - Also on a calorie deficit, how can you eat anything you want without restricting yourself, while being mindful, and try thinking healthy?

    Love this video...my doctor and I have chatted, several months ago, about my needing to lose a substantial amount of weight(about 95 lbs overweight) but it was discussed, as you mentioned, that it took me years to gain this weight so it will take time to get rid of it...slow and steady...lifestyle change...not dieting.

    To anyone who may be reading this, DO NOT COUNT CALORIES. I just found this video in my favorites from a while back. After reading tons of seemingly reliable articles and watching videos like these, I had become obsessed with counting and restricting calories. Restricting food intake is literally depriving your body of essential nutrients, and it wasn't long before my body turned on me and I began to uncontrollably binge-eat. I was soon diagnosed with an eating disorder and am still in treatment for my recovery. Counting calories may seem like an easy and quick way to lose weight, but I swear to you it is not reliable. I have since gained back all the weight I did lose while restricting and then some. It is okay to want to lose weight, but please do it healthfully by listening to your hunger cues and feeding yourself nutritious and wholesome foods. Eating is not a privilege, it is a necessity. Be careful everyone ❤️

      catsandcroissants I'm sorry to hear about your eating disorder and the troubles you have had. But counting calories does not cause eating disorders, nor does it mean you are necessarily starving yourself of nutrients, I find counting calories very helpful to understand how much I'm eating, "listening to my body and hunger cues" does not work for me, nor for a lot of other people. Counting calories is not dangerous, becoming obsessive over how much you eat (regardless of whether counting calories) is dangerous. You don't need to count calories to develop an eating disorder.

    • @ivananovakovic8839
      @ivananovakovic8839 9 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      catsandcroissants Counting calories doesn't mean you should starve to death. You should just put less calories in your body. In my case i started eating more so that i can have less calories par day. How? Well, insted of full plate of pasta i eat two full plates of salad. Insted of 150g burger i eat 200g of fish. And so on, and so on. I'm sorry to say, but you have eating disorder because you are obsessed (as you said your self) not because you counted calories.... I wish you all best in your recovery.....

    • @phoebella
      @phoebella 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Holly I don't count either..but I just eat lesser. Recently I tried intermittent fasting- leangains. I only eat two meals a day and eat during a 8 hr period and fast for 14hours. I have not been on it long enough to see drastic weight loss however my tummy does seem smaller. but I do enjoy Joanna's video =D I like her fitness videos.

I'm 16 and I've started counting calories last year and because of that and all the kind of "low calorie diet" I have an eating disorder (I have anorexia and bulimia). So PLEASE do not start counting your calories thinking this will help you. Just start eating healthy and BE HEALTHY that's the most important. Thank you
