Amazing, especially the takeoff. Takeoff and landing videos are always the best when captured from where you were standing. TH-cam needs more videos like that.
Was this a passanger flight? an looks like a diffrent departure? iv rode on a 737-900 Alaska Air once going from Seattle to Vegas an was pretty kewl, nice video.
It is very hard to push a 737 straight for a long distance. This was actually a really good push. The rules at BUR are a bit different from other airports because of the size and objects we have to work around.
Very nice video of a beautiful bird. Don't worry about those "internet heroes" dissecting everything and trying to act as if they're the "authority".....on TH-cam for crying out loud. I've seen so many posts similar to that it makes me chuckle. The push back was certainly acceptable and you got the job done. Enough said.
sorry to sound negative but that wasnt at all a "good push" firstly moving back and forth across the line isn't what you want when pushing, secondly he needs to get the tug behind the bar before the line, and thirdly use the flashing beacon as the guide not the nose gear, 737's turn on a dime, not like the 777s for example, plus you have limited vision. The 737 pushing behind your tow was also a bit risky, and would almost be considered a near miss. pushing is the best job at the airport!!!
yeah sure every airport has different rules for obvious reasons, we have a strict policies where i work, and such carriers like Virgin Australia would send formal complaints if we pushed like this, only an in-experienced push driver would be "let off" for a push like that. but hey like some say if the aircraft takes off it was a good push hahahahaha
