Best disc golf term video ever made. Enjoyable to watch regardless of skill level

Thanks for this month of videos Pete. As we slip into the new year... here's hoping we all get more birdies and hit fewer trees.

..”there are a bunch of them, so I’m going to go fast”…
I never doubted for a second that you would pull that off. Very helpful video Pete, thank you.
Prayed for your family’s safety as these storms have worked their way across the south.

Thank you my friend ! We are all safe and getting ready for a nice calm Sunday.... oh wait! I work at a church... so maybe not too calm. :D I appreciate the prayers!

Look at you, using the metric system. I’m so proud of you. We have a local course that plays by California rules. It is not written anywhere, but regulars are aware that tree shots mean penalty. Lots of branches to catch discs. I still don’t get why people use the term ‘stable’ to describe ‘understable’ discs. I would prefer sticking to beefy for beefy discs and stable, for discs that have a somewhat straight flight. Oh my, you reminded me of a time I was playing casually with a friend. He told me I should have called ‘provisional’ before throwing a make-up shot for a disc we were sure was out of bounds, but wasn’t when we found it. Frustrating. Glad it came up before I needed it in a tournament.

i totally agree about stable, but what are you going to do when a lot of out terms are made up by pot smoking engineers 40 plus years ago? :D I have played in the 2 meter era and I prefer not being so uptight about discs getting caught in a tree. Let's face it, certain regions had trees that are just disc magnets that suck in anything thrown near them... it makes for a long day and lots of extra strokes... I am not mad that it is mostly gone except for California and Canada... two places the start with CA and are goofy. :P Thanks my friend!

@@ogdiscgolfer well, California and Centennial Park, Toronto. I’ve seen no other rule. Agree with the engineers not thinking straight. Or stable.

I love the idea of provisionals but I can never remember the word “provisional” when I’m actually playing!

Tell me about it! I know it is such a good rule, but the chances of me remembering on the course under pressure are pretty low. :D

Awful lot to hear...lost u at throwlers .....also, all of these terms are opposite for left handed players...it's very difficult to grasp when yiur entire talk relates to rh throwers...it's wonderful, but lh players need lh talks just as much

Valid points, but may I ask how I can make it both shorter and include left handed players?
