As someone who plays Sandusky a ton, hole 15 has never worked out on a forehand for me, I throw my putter (usually a Judge) flat and let it turn over and it usually ends up in the gulley short of the basket, I think there’s way more inconsistencies in throwing a forehand there… 15:44
The proxy is a great putter. It’s a fantastic thrower and for me it goes in the basket. I love it to throw in neutron soft and and an electron soft gets flippy and is wonderful flyer and a great cold putting option. Electron and electron firm are great putting putters. Maintenance guy found one and gifted it to me before Simon started throwing them. So grateful he did
LOVE the proxy. However, I've never thought about putting with it. I use mine to rope anything 250' and under, very comfortable power grip. I throw a beat in eclipse glow plastic one and it is completely torque resistant. Point and shoot with no turn or fade. Niced job, Putting looked good today!
I tend to release a little late (or I don't know how to aim, but whatever) and miss the fairway to the left on LHBH. At one of my local courses I do it all the time on wooded holes but tend to find sneaky gaps and end up fine
I really got to wonder why as a disc golf shop owner you all do not care about carrying and utilizing many of the great disc retrieving tools. Absolutely blows my mind to see you all climbing in that creek for discs almost every video you play here.
I cackled cause he was trying to talk and as soon as he stopped to ask what the birds were they stopped. And then started as soon as he picked back up on the dialogue haha.
We were not too far behind you Saturday. One of the guys I was with went the creek to get his because we couldn’t reach if with the retriever. We got yours. So hopefully it made its way back to you already.
Been putting with proxy for 3 years or so now, love it! Liked it so much that I currently have about 30 of these (all in the cosmic electron firm), and couple of mediums for winter time :)
I've never seen anyone else use a proxy for a putting putter! It's been my putter for 12+ years and felt strange. It's a little faster than most people use I guess. But it's so versatile. I use it for almost anything under 75'.
Dude, I just put a slammer in the bag and I love it. It’s BEEF though. It is brand new so I can’t wait to see how it beats in over time. Right now it’s basically a zone os. Love the feel of it and I seem to control it better than the os though.
OMG, the decision to go Nord, not sure about that, you did disc up but maybe you shouldnt have with the OB water . If you are fatigued grab the straighter disc, right, especially when you've already early released. Bad decision making Trev.
Sick round at a sick course. When you exercise like you do in a climbing gym you release so many positive endorphins it will elevate your execution and touch despite being tired. I still think I'd shoot -10 @ this course first try though
One thing I did that really helped my putt was kind of emulating Isaac Robinson and forcing myself to open my hand and rotate away/clockwise to make sure the putter is coming out flat. I feel like I’m rolling my hand all the way over but I’m not. I hope this makes sense. I used to hyzer putt almost as bad as Double G! lol.
Did he... not find a stick to get that Nord???? From that angle it really looks like you could stick your arm in and grab it. I've also walked up to my waste in water to retrieve discs, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask..
I greatly love that people have been fully introduced how much of an all-rounder the proxy is. A few short years ago, it was Envy, Envy, Envy. What's a Proxy?
Yet another reminder to get a disc retriever.
It’s just a running bit at this point 😂
@@TrevorstaubdiscgolfLOL I was like no way he’s not gonna grab that
@@Trevorstaubdiscgolfain’t y’all got have some at the shop lol
I'd rather have a day like this than a day where everything goes right EXCEPT putting. Nice round!
I love these vids. So calming compared to a foundation video. Something great to unwind to at the end of a day
absolutely love the series! Keep it up man!
The proxy putting is looking so much more smooth and consistent!

16:30 some might say it’s kind of a tricky layup from here
LOVE the proxy. However, I've never thought about putting with it. I use mine to rope anything 250' and under, very comfortable power grip. I throw a beat in eclipse glow plastic one and it is completely torque resistant. Point and shoot with no turn or fade.

I’ve never thrown it haha only put with it
The proxy has been in my bag as a thrower since I randomly purchased it in 2020. Nice to see it receive some love as a putting putter
I also putt with a Proxy and I absolutely love it.
Love that hoodie. Let’s go old navy!!!
I just changed putters as of Christmas. I went from P2 to Hardy Candy. Plastic is fantastic. Actually a great throwing putter too.
My most common miss is LOW, but on line. Of all the "misthrows," low gets you into the least trouble. (unless you're throwing over water)
I tend to release a little late (or I don't know how to aim, but whatever) and miss the fairway to the left on LHBH. At one of my local courses I do it all the time on wooded holes but tend to find sneaky gaps and end up fine
It's almost always about alignment on a drive, since you really don't "release" the disc in the first place.
Why do u not have a disc retriever in your bag? Especially if u know your playing right next to a creek?!
none of the foundation boys do, its like their gimmick, though stupid
@ I guess u lose u it u lose it
@@BeardoTheWeirdoStill, waste of money and unnecessarily leaving plastic in nature
Lol, at 18:50, Brodie's Step Putt immediately came to mind. I was waiting for you to put it on the street.
Climbing before disc golfing is wild. Your elbows had to be hurting so much 😂
It was not my best choice 😂
HYPED you used a shotgun mic for this video over your lav. Sounded great! 🔥
I really got to wonder why as a disc golf shop owner you all do not care about carrying and utilizing many of the great disc retrieving tools. Absolutely blows my mind to see you all climbing in that creek for discs almost every video you play here.
Hole 6 - those are blue jays and that's what they do. Usually when you least want them to.
I cackled cause he was trying to talk and as soon as he stopped to ask what the birds were they stopped. And then started as soon as he picked back up on the dialogue haha.
I like how you did the video at the other course where you kept playing till you got it
The Proxy is really nice. A nice straight putting putter can be so effective if you dial it in
We were not too far behind you Saturday. One of the guys I was with went the creek to get his because we couldn’t reach if with the retriever. We got yours. So hopefully it made its way back to you already.
@@kingpballer07 yes I got it back! Thank you so much!
I recently switch from the Avier to the Pixel and loving it.
The proxy is the goat

I know you missed the line but dang what a great round. Maybe you found your new warm up...rock climbing
I switched to the Proxy too!!! 🙌
Great round. I somethings throw a forehand with too much anny and it turns into a forehand roller that ends up further that most drives.
Eclipse Soft Proxy greatest disc ever made

Yeah not my smartest move 😅
Climbing before round, Poor disc (Nord) decision, no retriever, choppy edit…..this is Staub Energy I am here for! Thanks for the content! #staubmaub
You’re a real one 😂

I still think I'd shoot -10 @ this course first try though
Great round, and you're so close! Great putts!
Crazy close for the cold start
For the cost of a new disc you could own a retiver
But then you have no excuse for buying the new plastic and new color 😂
I’m here because that thumb nail got me
Love this challenge
Try the big FH hyzer on 18, in the winter nothing stops me over there. Ez bird
Bro does not have that in his bag
You need a Marshall street retrieving pole. It saves soooo many discs
Is it actually a tricky layup from there? Haha amazing video man!
@@QMediaLLC LOL whoops
@@Trevorstaubdiscgolf haha love your content man. New putter looks dope! Just giving you a hard time
the pixel changed my putting. I've always used the Plasma Ion from MVP but ive yet to use the proxy.
For almost 2 years a proxy was my putting putter until veterans park in kannapolis ate it on a 50 ft run that hit a tree and straight to the water
Bring back those Foundation sweatpants, i need them
A good way to work on your resolution is to grab a few discs and run a course. Definitely choose a safe course to run, meaning less trip hazards.
Those putts looked sexy today. Maybe he did some coaching off cam with Mr. Unlimited?

Good advice!
I mean you were obviously putting great today! just a tip that helped me keep it flat cause I see you hyzer like me.
This is Isaac Robinson’s channel?
come on Trev.. how do you not have a disc retriever on your bag…??? you work at a disc store
Took the words right out of my mouth!
Why get a retriever when you can head to work and just grab a new one?
I'll grip lock it to 2:30 but on a butt ton of hyzer
I throw high too much...so I end up smoking more to level out my throws.
disc retriever and mics for the audio
I’m just getting into disc golf and looking to get the Atlas bag. Will they be back in stock or a v5 releasing?
Restock coming tomorrow!
Need Trevor’s foundation sweat pants!
Dude. Try throwing the Proxy on 8
Not a bad idea…
Trevor x Blitz climbing collab video when!?
Hi Travis!
that first shot was so lucky 😂😂 how did that not h it that tree
Trevor climbing video when??? I wanna see some sends
7 years with the daggers from latiude never gonna change it :P
Is that construction behind you or gun firing?!
Did u rlly leave that disc in the water?
I did but someone actually got it and returned it! The community here is incredible!
@Trevorstaubdiscgolf that's awesome. I'm jealous

The fact your bracket worked out where the Dime had to face the Proxy is tough….
Threw my favorite disc dead center of a lake Saturday
Ooo a little editing mishap there…. Read your comment and was just giving you a hard time. Love your content!!
Haha no problem! Sometimes being your own camera man and editor leads to mishaps lol. Appreciate the support!
@@Trevorstaubdiscgolf Quality round. That new putter seems to fit your game well. You might actually get this one.
Big z flex zone backhand straight for hole 8.
I'm just here for the thumbnail
First viewer!!!! Hey Trevor!!!
Whats that hoodie??
I love fishing but the next day it’s hard to play 18 feel your pain
🤝
This is getting freaking ridiculous with no disc retriever. It looked like you could have got it with any random stick too.
have you tried releasing putters higher? That's something tall guys preach like Calvin and Gannon
This goes to show you should really warm up before, because you always start slow
Did you steal Hunters Trail? edit: oh it was a Terra, nvm
Trevor keeps saying, "we." Is Mr. Unlimited with him?
What are the birds? Obviously they are Tee birds.
The birds are blue jays
Some rough editing
Not my best work, I’ll admit. Don’t usually mess up like that. Next week will be better!
I greatly love that people have been fully introduced how much of an all-rounder the proxy is. A few short years ago, it was Envy, Envy, Envy. What's a Proxy?
You can thank James Conrad for that. Both are pretty awesome imo
I’ve noticed you wear Denver hats before, is that Bo Destroyer made for Bo Nix or whaaaaa!?!? Go Broncos!!! 💪🏽💙🧡
Yikes
Seeing you without Hunter is criminal.
How the hell do you not have a disc retriever yet?
I like to live life on the edge
@@Trevorstaubdiscgolf But your discs aren't landing on the "edge." They're in the WATER.
