Tax saving is 1458.3 per month., when converted to monthly . What good is that amound in these times. What can middle class buy with that money. How does that increase consumption. How can one say that increasing the LTCG to 12.5%. from 10 % is good for stock market. I don't understand. It is good only for people trading unlisted stocks. Normal traders and investors trading in NSE and BSE will pay more tax.

They increased the rate ya. I think all of them are putting on a show. It looks so artificial. Rates increase and they are happy. The kedia guy says, he was expecting 20%.
