Yet it is still daunting, as I sit to update my resume. (Thanks for the video, it definitely helped along with the link to the 6 sec Resume). :)
Mario, I totally understand. However, I still believe you know yourself best. It's okay to boast about yourself and all the wonderful things you've done. Don't be shy about that. Your resume and your interviews are the time to do this.
I've been job searching for two years now. I've tried several different resume routes. I sure do hope this works for me, I'm about done with all this rejection crap!!!
I know this video is 3 years old but for me the biggest challenge with my resume will be coming up with accomplishments from my previous positions. They've mostly been either jobs close to minimum wage or independent contractor positions. The independent positions can allow me to list the compliments that my riders have given me in the past but that is likely it.
RobtheChamp22 so glad you shared, even though the video is a few years old. I still try to read most of the comments on my channel. Thanks for watching. 😊

Hi, Thanks a lot! I learned so much! As Chinese, my biggest problem is that I do not know if my English abilities are suitable for the requirement of the Recruiters or not. So dear Professor Heather Austin, could you provide the consulting services for helping me, such as Resume revision or mock-interview? I am looking forward to your reply!
Thank you! You make something hard for me, seem simple. The hardest thing I find about writing a resume is what to include and what to leave out. What should be detailed for "key words" and what would appear as clutter.
Hi there! I'm so glad you found these resume writing tips useful. Writing a resume can certainly be overwhelming. Keywords should be word that relate directly to the position. Like accounting, project managements, sales leadership, etc... Also, clutter is considered items that don't relate to the position you are applying for. Does that help?
This is amazing! I feel like when thinking about jobs, we always consider what we can get from them as opposed to what they need. Thank you for sharing Heather, just subbed!
Hi there! I’ll need to do research on job search apps. I did make a video on how to format a resume. Have you seen it? Here it is again: th-cam.com/video/lzomFlIAPHc/w-d-xo.html
Hi, thanks for the info you shared there. Most TH-cam videos are made for people who already have work experience they don't say much about those who are fresh out of college or freelancers... I think those are the kind of people who should be catered for the most
I went to college for business accounting and now I am an engineering project manager in the tech sector. To get to where I am today I picked up a wide range of skills and transferable skills but I always feel like in an effort to showcase my adaptability I end up oversharing. Do you have any advise?
I once volunteered as HRM before and was involved in recruiting Team Members for our events. I noticed that I often skipped the Education Background part as I tend to look for experience. My questions are; 1) Where should they put their Education Background? After Professional Profile or almost at the very last? 2) Wht can the job seekers (esp. fresh-grad) emphasize on for this section? I once hired a well-educated applicant but he was not competence enough. Many thanks!
Firdaus Ismail, great resume writing questions. It depends on the situation. Most of the time, the education section will go at the bottom of the resume. Students can also add a volunteer section or some type of club/school organizations. Hope this helps!
Thanks for helping me understand better how to turn job descriptions into accomplishments. This has always been a challenge for me. Great resume writing tips.
Patrick Westover, great question! Anything that makes the interview run more smoothly is recommended. Even if it means bringing a hard copy of your resume to the interview. Good luck my friend.
Hi Heather, the download button on your site for the template doesn't seem to work for me, tried Chrome and Firefox. Checked spam box as well. Is it supposed to be an instant download or go to your e-mail inbox?

Thanks for this video. I'm a final year student, but in the near future I'll be applying for a job interview. I'm a little bit nervous but I think it's normal.
Another question I have that may be helpful to people is about delineation of titles. I've been with the same company for 11 years and have had many different roles with different responsibilities. What's a good way to present them?
her still singing limbs aww, yes! This is also a common question. To list more than one job with the same company, you can either stack the jobs under the same company or separate them out completely. Hope this helps!
Hey Andrew! Thanks so much for the feedback. I’m so happy you stopped by my channel. I LOVE your work. I’ve been following you for awhile. It’s great to connect!
Professor Heather Austin thanks Heather. I’m finally getting a chance to sift through your stuff. You’re great on camera! Would love to connect and talk shop. :)
Hi Heather thanks for the video. Do you have any tips regarding how many bullets each previously held position should have? Also could you speak on word count as well?
Hi Larry! Great questions. Each position should have 3 to 4 bullet points. You can have more on your most recent position. In terms of word count... That's hard to determine. I would base it off of pages. If you have more than 5 years of work experience stick to a 2-page resume. No longer. Good luck!
Pretty difficult to explain my accomplishments with routine day to day task-oriented jobs that have no room for creativity or improvement of the process. Jobs where you can't quantify your job because you essentially do the same thing every day.
Professor Heather Austin not really, I was a manager at a top tier movie theater. Business depended mostly on what movies were showing and the demographics of the audience. So it is difficult to get a handle of what exactly I accomplished in terms of hard numbers. I handled cash, delegated assignment, and did a lot of customer service. I just graduated and want to start a career in finance but I'm not sure how to incorporate this job in my resume.
@@Viper4ever05 literally in the same position. Me working at a movie theater in times square is only impressive to other sales associate positions, not to the research internships I'm applying to. And now-a-days you need experience to get the experience you need to qualify for an internship to get you experience for a job! Where am I supposed to get experience if I don't even qualify for positions that get me experience because of lack of experience!
VPX4 work for someone for free and do a good job at it. When you are done, the employer or business owner will have nothing left but to pay you, especially if you did a good job.

Hey, guys! Are you trying to land more job interviews? Or maybe you're on the hunt for a higher paying job. This video will help you write a really good resume. You'll also find a sample resume template. What do you struggle with the most when it comes to writing a resume?
Professor Heather Austin my hardest part of writing my resume is finding my strengths. This is due to the past 3 jobs I’ve had, I have always felt as though I’ve excelled at it. So, it’s so hard to find my strengths.
The hardest part for me is quantifying my bullet points. I instinctually want to write anecdotal notes instead. It's too late now, but I've learned the hard way the importance of a project journal/tracker for my next job. Also, I have no info about monetary impact of my work. I did the work and got pats on the back. Bosses don't tell me what the value of that work was. I'm lucky sometimes if they even USE the work. 🥺
Thank you for giving helpful 6 tips. My greatest challages are two : First, Profile writing and Second, how to set or Mention my skills based on my degree. For example Is it ok to write objective like this one , looking for a job as an Electrician based on my Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology(2003) by formulating leadership execution and to set Profile # Managed Computer Hardware Assenling. # Handle 38 Electronic components working and testing such as Transistor, MOSFET, Diode, Capacitor so on.

Do you do resumes for people privately for them? Like a paid compensation? I'm wanting to redo my resume for a job change and I just want a solid resume that isn't going to get looked over or passed through computer scans. Thank you :)
Hi Melissa! Great question. Yes, I have a team of resume writers, however I always recommend leaning how to write your own resume first. It’s a skill you need throughout your entire career. Let me know if you’re interested in any of these options. 😊
Hi there Rhiza, great question. This is not normally something that's done in the U.S. However, I have hear about a photo being used on resumes in other countries. What country do you live in?
As a recruiter, I can tell you a picture on your resume is a bad idea in the US. If the recruiter or HM wants to see you before they call you, they should be able to see you on LinkedIn..
Katherine, great question. If both positions are strong and you have significant accomplishments from each, list them separately. On the other hand, you can list them together under the same company. Separate the positions with a slash. Then list your most important accomplishments from each position. Good luck!
I have been applying and sending out my resume for about two weeks, about 6 jobs a day everyday. I have four girls and I am a single mom, I have not received more than two interviews, no one has called me back, and I have received several "We have moved on with our hiring process". I really really REALLY NEED HELP!
Kay Douglass, thanks for the comment. I’m sorry to hear you are not getting call backs. I’m hosting a free career workshop on right here on TH-cam next week. You should come. I believe it will help you. ❤️
I have so many gaps in my resume, as I was "stay at home mom" while my kids were young. At the same time, I couldn't start working due to moving from a place to another (nine different cities) due to my ex's job. Then after that, I went back to the school. I have postgraduate degree but not much of experience! What can I do to make my resume acceptable?
TheSkinnyFairy, great question. This is something I see all the time. My recommendation would be to focus on your most recent position, volunteer work and your education. I hope this helps!
Hello, My biggest struggle is knowing when to use a list/bullet vs blurb format. Depending on the organization and their recruiting tools, one is preferred over the other. Any suggestions?
My challenge is what to focus on. There are so many jobs I like. Blow drying stylist, dog bather, accountant, H&R Block person, Analyst, Unique Pup wear designer and lady dresses and hand sewn gifts plus business card designer.
Hi Liz, this is a common problem so many face. It sounds like you're a well rounded person with lots of interests. This is great! Focus on your transferrable skills. Those are skills/talents/expertise you have that can be applied to any of those positions. i.e. good communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills, etc... Hope this helps!
Hi there! I have a little question. I want to apply in Europe Countries such as New Zealand and Canada as a CNC machine operator.. but I was promoted as a designer and programmer for more than a year now in our company here in KSA.. how can I apply it in my resume that the employer will focus on my Machine Operator Experience? because I'm afraid that the employer will see my previously working experience as a programmer and designer and not as a Machine Operator that they needed.
Great question Angelo! That's exciting your applying for a new position. My recommendation would be focus on your transferable skills. That is any skill, accomplishment or expertise that you have that can be applied to your current position and the new position you are applying for. Good luck my friend!
It depends on your qualifications. Point out to the next best thing, like related school projects, internships, personal projects and so on. If you have those, make sure to make a good chunk of your CV out of it (briefly describe the tasks you had to do that are related to your future job), rather than a small mention at the bottom. But you want to show the good stuff, not what's irrelevant. For example you'll only put a 'hobbies' section if you actually do something interesting. No one cares about reading or playing video games, but if you do something productive, like lets say writing books/short stories or programming for fun, that's definitely worth mentioning that can help you fill up a bit. Finally, make sure that it stands out even if printed in black and white and thrown in a pile of CVs. Make sure that you can find all sections and information from a quick glance (print it to see if it works in real life too). Basically avoid a wall of text where it's all the same size. In the end though, you have to play with what you have and accept that if they want someone with a lot of experience, they won't want you unless they have no choice. Try recruitment agencies that aren't as popular, less commonly used job offer services (newspapers), and put the most care in the job offers where they don't seem as picky about experience.
Hi, Kimberly! That's great. Don't forget the sample resume download if you need it. It's more for entry-level positions, but you can build upon it if you will be applying for executive level positions.
i dont have any specific goal or career choice. I have worked several different types of jobs that have all given me different experiences. It is hard to narrow down my information. Also as far as editing a resume to be more job specific does this mean i should edit it before any different job search?
Wow, great examples on how to write a really good resume. Thank you for providing a screen shot of your sample resume template. I need to download the template.
My main issue is explaining what I have done at prior positions that don't make the resume sound repetitive or redundant. I also struggle to make a list of skills that would be beneficial and universal to a majority of jobs. Being young also makes it hard to make my experience sound important.

Mario, I totally understand. However, I still believe you know yourself best. It's okay to boast about yourself and all the wonderful things you've done. Don't be shy about that. Your resume and your interviews are the time to do this.
Thank you for this video, my current challenge is integrating my current tasks and skills into a new industry.
My resume is sooooo outdated! LOL This video helped immensely. I was actually fixing my resume as I watched! Thank you so much sharing!
Hey there Mysti! I'm thrilled to hear you've been able to fix your resume. Good luck on your job search!
I've been job searching for two years now. I've tried several different resume routes. I sure do hope this works for me, I'm about done with all this rejection crap!!!
Rainy, without a doubt, you’ll see results. I’m so excited for you. Please keep me posted as soon as you land a job.
Great explanation of a branding profile 👍
Hello my friends over at Indeed. I have a new version of this video. Have you seen it? Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/r_Wf532f5X4/w-d-xo.html
Glad to see you do your research. Mythbusters proved almost 10 years ago that gold fish show evidence of remember things longer than 11 months after learning them and can spend at least 10 concentrated minutes learning something new.
Misshowzat, that’s so awesome! I didn’t know goldfish could remember things up to 11 months after learning them. Wow! Thanks for sharing.
You can't teach pesonality to people, but you can give wisdom to help one choose who they will be. Sometimes we all get lost and frustrated and angry when we feel abused by others or not given a fair chance, as you naturally would, but dont be ran over sometimes you gotta make it happen for yourself hun! If you've tried to move up and are still ignored go where youre worth is appreciated and valued! "To whom MUCH is given, MUCH is required" - The Bible! The competition is not just those in your own backyard anymore. Thanks internet! It is put in place to work for you! That doesn't mean you dont have to do ANY work you guys; it wont work itself! One more thing! I wont tell anyone not to speak profanely, but I will shine a little light on you love... "There's a time and a place for everything!" Being professional isn't a front, it's a part of you! You turn it on when you're about your business and relax/let loose when the time is apropriate; even then you will be judged/known by your ways. "In the same measure you expect to be treated, you should treat others" this means when you go out of your home, to spend money or time at an establishment, the service you expect to receive in good morality is what you should strive to give. I say this because that is how the world should be! Unfortunately it isn't all the time, but I guarantee if you live those words as law, you will receive the measure of your faith and a newly-found peace will ease your worries that other people cannot give you! Morals are everything my loves and the bed YOU make for yourself, no matter how plush or how bare, is the one YOU must lay in. Faith without works is dead boo boo lol! Keep pushing and have a "Let's do this!!!" mentality! I hope your ears and hearts are blessed by these words
Wow! Thanks for sharing this. I wish you the very best on your job hunt.
My biggest challenges when writing a resume have been writing paragraphs and using outdated Objective Statements. These tactics have gotten places. However, not far as I would really like to.
Thank you kindly for this video!
My biggest challenge writing resumes is the wording. Translating what I did in the service to regular work compared to everyone else.
Hi Joe! Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing your biggest frustration. This is a common struggle for many. Here's another video that will help: th-cam.com/video/SBu-FayxYN0/w-d-xo.html

No cap me too 😂😂😂

Super cool! Thanks for sharing. BTW - I love your profile picture.
Professor Heather Austin thank you! It’s the embodiment of who I am as a person 😂
XxxLYON PAWxxX that’s way cool!
Really great resume writing tips on how to write a resume in 2018. The sample resume template is just what I need for my students. Thanks for sharing.
They slightly a little from how to write a resume in 2017. These tips for resume writing are designed to help you stand out in 6 seconds or less.
don't know if I should include everything i've done or the most relevant to the job post...thanks Heather! Love your energy
Hi Nancy. Thanks for watching. A good rule of thumb is to not go any further back than 10 - 15 years. Make sure the items on your resume relate directly to the job you are applying for. You'll do great!
Really great tips and thank you! I help mentor recent grads and new adults and resumes is a huge part of the conversation. Thanks so much please keep posting!
Hi there! So happy to hear you have your boots on the ground helping recent grads! Glad I could help. Keep up your great work.
Thank you for this video, I got two pointers that I really liked! I was just wondering what do you do when you have short employment or gaps in employment? Like they say dont use anything under six months. Do you have a video on this that I missed? I really appreicate any help. thanks
Mia, thank you for watching. I’m thrilled to hear you got some takeaways from this video. I haven’t yet made a video about employment gaps. Thanks for the idea. Do you have volunteer experience that you can add? Employers love this!
Thank you!Is resume to match the postion, or let hr to match best of myself
A very Energetic way to talk about a resume and very valuable key points for optimizing it.. thanks for taking the time to make a good video. appreciate it...
Hi Eddie! Hey, thanks so much for watching and for the feedback. I appreciate it!
I subscribed. Thanks for making resume editing simple.
House of Many, hey! Thanks so much for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed these resume writing tips. Good luck with your job search.
Thank you!!
Do you have any good recommendations for resume apps? I spend so much time trying to get the formatting perfect when I update a resume.
Hi there! I’ll need to do research on job search apps. I did make a video on how to format a resume. Have you seen it? Here it is again: th-cam.com/video/lzomFlIAPHc/w-d-xo.html
It's always great to learn more about how to write a really good resume. Especially in 2018. My favorite tips was to focus on the format and design.
Hi. Have a well formatted resume is so beneficial. I always recommend using a bold and extra spacing where appropriate. Thanks!
Hi. Have a well formatted resume is so beneficial. I always recommend using a bold and extra spacing where appropriate. Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the info you shared there.
Most TH-cam videos are made for people who already have work experience
they don't say much about those who are fresh out of college or freelancers... I think those are the kind of people who should be catered for the most
Hi there! So glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
I went to college for business accounting and now I am an engineering project manager in the tech sector. To get to where I am today I picked up a wide range of skills and transferable skills but I always feel like in an effort to showcase my adaptability I end up oversharing. Do you have any advise?
My son needs these tips as he's graduating soon and will be looking for a job
Congratulations to your son Herman. What specialty is he graduating in?
Someone is off to a late start, I started working when I was 13.
it's called being useful in society
I once volunteered as HRM before and was involved in recruiting Team Members for our events. I noticed that I often skipped the Education Background part as I tend to look for experience. My questions are;
1) Where should they put their Education Background?
Hey, so glad you found these resume writing tips useful. Don't forget the sample resume template you can use and tailor for you next job.
Do you need to bring a hard copy resume if you have already sent a digital one?
Patrick Westover, great question! Anything that makes the interview run more smoothly is recommended. Even if it means bringing a hard copy of your resume to the interview. Good luck my friend.
Hi Heather, the download button on your site for the template doesn't seem to work for me, tried Chrome and Firefox. Checked spam box as well. Is it supposed to be an instant download or go to your e-mail inbox?
Hi there! So sorry you’re have probables with the download. It should be delivered straight to your inbox. Let me know if you did t get it.
I love this! I can make good videos, but I always spend days working on my resume! So hard to do it right! Thanks so much for the tips Heather.
VeroSweetHobby hi! Resume writing is always challenging. Applying these few simple resume writing tips can definitely decrease the time it takes to write a resume. 😊
That's what she said
what if the job experience that you have on your resume is not sought after by employers? i am facing that dilemma what do i do?
Hey there! This is a common problem. Is there a way you could re-word your experience to reflect a skill the employer is looking for.
Thanks for this video. I'm a final year student, but in the near future I'll be applying for a job interview. I'm a little bit nervous but I think it's normal.
Yes Antonio! It’s super normal to be nervous. You’ve got this! Thanks for watching.
Heather! I really enjoyed this. Love the points, your presentation, and the splicing in of the pics. I hope your channel takes off. Keep plugging!
No longer. Good luck!
Thank you,good tips
You’re welcome
Pretty difficult to explain my accomplishments with routine day to day task-oriented jobs that have no room for creativity or improvement of the process. Jobs where you can't quantify your job because you essentially do the same thing every day.
Hi there! Aww yes, I can see how this would be difficult. Were numbers or quantity of items/things involved in any way in what you did?

These are so smart!! I love the top half - when I read resumes I focus on the top half!
That’s great! The top half is the first place someone looks when reviewing a resume. It needs to quickly grab someone’s attention. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, guys! Are you trying to land more job interviews? Or maybe you're on the hunt for a higher paying job. This video will help you write a really good resume. You'll also find a sample resume template. What do you struggle with the most when it comes to writing a resume?
Professor Heather Austin can you please repost your resume template? The link doesn't work
How to structure my resume being a fresh graduate?(wrt experience)
good video could even beat pewdiepie's one
Professor Heather Austin my hardest part of writing my resume is finding my strengths. This is due to the past 3 jobs I’ve had, I have always felt as though I’ve excelled at it. So, it’s so hard to find my strengths.
Veronica Andrews hi there! Use this link to download the template here; heatheraustin.online/free-resume-template/
This Help Me So Much At Getting A Better Paying Job .Thank you
Super awesome! Thanks for sharing Noah.
Thank you for giving helpful 6 tips. My greatest challages are two : First, Profile writing and Second, how to set or Mention my skills based on my degree. For example Is it ok to write objective like this one , looking for a job as an Electrician based on my Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology(2003) by formulating leadership execution and to set Profile
# Managed Computer Hardware Assenling.
# Handle 38 Electronic components working and testing such as Transistor, MOSFET, Diode, Capacitor so on.
Learned a lot from your video today how to write a really good resume. I'm glad you shared resume writing tips for 2108.
Glad to have helped. Was there a tip that you found most useful?
Glad to have helped. Was there a tip that you found most useful?
Always a good way to demonstrate your accomplishment with real data!
Yes! Totally. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the useful tips. Where can I find the sample reseume?
Also, placement is an issue for me. I don't know what should go where, before or after what, and what to or not include.
I love sharing your videos with my daughter!
i have trouble putting something on the resume. i dont know what to do to make it better but ill see if this template will help me since its very specific and detailed
malaika khan, the template will definitely help. Keep me posted with questions. Good luck! You’ll do great. 👍
Wow...wish I saw this a couple of month ago when I was struggling for days to write a resume. Now I can update it so it look professional. Will down load your template for help! Thank you.
Rachel, I’m so glad you found my video and the new template. The template will really give you a jump start. Good luck on your job search!
Would you suggest adding a photo on a resume?
Hi there Rhiza, great question. This is not normally something that's done in the U.S. However, I have hear about a photo being used on resumes in other countries. What country do you live in?
Absolutely. Consider this. You are marketing yourself to a potential employer. Adding a photo will only make you stand out more.
I live in the US.
im ugly and i did this and ended up getting zero replys lol
As a recruiter, I can tell you a picture on your resume is a bad idea in the US. If the recruiter or HM wants to see you before they call you, they should be able to see you on LinkedIn..
I worked for the same company for 4 years and held many positions there. How do I list that and show the different dynamics?
Katherine, great question. If both positions are strong and you have significant accomplishments from each, list them separately. On the other hand, you can list them together under the same company. Separate the positions with a slash. Then list your most important accomplishments from each position. Good luck!
Thanks a lot for this. Pretty helpful!
Hello,
My biggest struggle is knowing when to use a list/bullet vs blurb format. Depending on the organization and their recruiting tools, one is preferred over the other. Any suggestions?
So true about our attention spans. I love the branding profile right up there at the top. All great tips, thanks!
Hi Professor, Thank you very much for your sharing. Its very helpful. Please keep posted and i will give you 100% support.
Hi there! So happy to hear you enjoyed this video. I wish you the best on your resume.
I was looking for a video like that...now i found...thanks
Thank you very much Heather
Nice..any tips for writing resumes with no prior experiences?
Thanks, just started updating my resume yesterday.
Hi, Kimberly! That's great. Don't forget the sample resume download if you need it. It's more for entry-level positions, but you can build upon it if you will be applying for executive level positions.
Very helpful. Thank you.
i dont have any specific goal or career choice. I have worked several different types of jobs that have all given me different experiences. It is hard to narrow down my information. Also as far as editing a resume to be more job specific does this mean i should edit it before any different job search?
Kate, what type of work do you like doing most right now? Start there. Then tailor your resume to that industry/position.
Wow, great examples on how to write a really good resume. Thank you for providing a screen shot of your sample resume template. I need to download the template.
Hi there! I hope you find the sample resume temple useful. Keep me posted. I am here to answer any questions you might have. 😀
Great tips to land the next job. Thanks for making the vid.
Hey, thanks Danny! So glad you enjoyed this video.
Great tips! I love your simple solutions! My attention span is super short, so this was really helpful!
Christina, I also have a super short attention span. I’m glad you found these resume writing tips useful.
Can I use comic stands
I would use that font. Stick with something easier to read. Good luck!
Trying to get my first job, thought I might as well learn how to make a good resume.
My main issue is explaining what I have done at prior positions that don't make the resume sound repetitive or redundant. I also struggle to make a list of skills that would be beneficial and universal to a majority of jobs. Being young also makes it hard to make my experience sound important.
Great tips on how to write a great resume!!... I wish I knew these tips when I was working in corporate America. I was certainly winging things back then.
I'm not looking for another job but I did just go through an annual review. A lot of these tips transfer well to presenting yourself well during review time.
The Bootstrap Boutique hi there! Aww, the good ol' annual review. 😀Yes, these tips can also be used for that. I'm hope your annual review went well.
Branding Profile! Wow, thank you for this and for keeping me in the loop on staying professional in the world.
Is having a letter of recommendation from my previous job corny to put on a resume?
Hi there! Great question. A letter of recommendation is certainly powerful. However, you don't want to include it in your resume. Provide it as an accompanying document.
Professor Heather Austin 👍🏽 Thank You
everything is fine...but how you think should be the structure in the page?..and hiw many pages should be?
Great question Salome! If you have 5 years of experience or less, your resume should be no longer than one page. If more than 5 years of experience, you can use 2 pages. Good luck my friend!
Thanks for your reply....i need to do a good CV as long time i didnt look for jobs, and now i ve to do it...not sure how the text will be...? i search how to write a good CV but i feel confused...is anything you can help me on this? how i can contact you?
Salome, the resume template I linked in the description will be a great starting point. If you need additional assistance. Feel free to email me at hello@professoraustin.com
Thanks a lot professor....i definetively i need assistance!
Salome, great! I will take a look at what I see with your resume/cv.
Good and informative
Thanks!
Excellent video. This is very helpful, thank you.
Any tips if your applying for a job you dont have experience in to make yourself stand out? For example im applying for a job where they make and sell landscaping materials. I would be stacking and inspecting the bricks. My job past includes various pizza places, a customer service rep, meat clerk at a grocery store, and currently a bicycle mechanic. Please help me i really wanna land this job.
Hi Alex. Great question. There are a few things you can do to make your resume stand out. Take a look at this video I made about how to write a resume with limited work experience: th-cam.com/video/79JL8xq0UzY/w-d-xo.html. Good luck and let me know how else I can help. Thanks!
great, thank you so much for the tips
Benz Rilla of course! Thanks for watching.
