Great video, I am defiantly using your tips to alter my resume. Just one question about the title: Do I use my current work title or the title of the job I am applying for? My current title is scientist, and I am applying for validation engineer.
Dear Ms. Austin, I do the same job, however I have worked in various hospitals. Do I have to right the same experiences under every place I have worked? Thank you!
Hi. Great video. Well done. Could you share the template and example you showed in the video that includes the optional Career Highlights section and the Core Competencies section. Thanks in advance Professor Austin.
Hi Guy! Thanks for watching. Great question. The example provided in the video wiht the Career Highlights and Core Competencies is actually located in The Career Advacenement Toolkit. Do you have the toolkit yet?
I just spent time removing my job duties which originally read like my career summary only to put my highlights back in what I discovered was to be put in a career summary. If it's what I am most proud of or what defines me the most why isn't it in the body of my resume. Is it supposed to be redundant to the body or just a list of keywords where it's ok to have no verbs. I thought the whole point of a resume was not supposed to list duties and here I am putting duties in a summary. Hiring managers want to see this?
