**SPORT MODE** Thanks for watching and the feedback! I know the ski wasn't in sport mode see the link below for when I took the spark out again and made sure it was in sport mode this time! th-cam.com/video/RieqaPaRxbk/w-d-xo.html
@@ronalddelacruz9213 IF you want a 70 mph ski dont get a spark if you want the most fun you will ever have get a spark trixx tops out at 50 and you can do wheelies all the way across the lake
I use mine on the lake. I like how people call them slow..but most of the time they are faster than any go-fast boat on the water unless you run up on a 400 hp Ranger Bass Boat lol or a catamaran with 500 hp lol or bigger jet ski 48 mph is plenty fast for someone new to PWC's.
They arent designed to go fast, so if you come across somebody calling a Spark slow, disregard anything else they say. Theyre way slower but way more fun in choppy water.
If 50mph 80kph is quicknon the water you want top end don't get one i have one acceleration is awesome and launches easily off the smallest waves / wakes
Thank you for posting another video because this triggered the hell out of me being a spark owner. Sport mode is a different experience on those things and you don’t even have the trim control that the trixx model has.
I was waiting to see if you ever figured out that you were not in sport mode. Too bad. Sport mode is a dramatic difference over touring mode. In sport mode, the Spark is as quick to 30 MPH as a 300. You hold the button til you hear 3 beeps (Entering sport mode). Then, you hit the button once. When you hear the single beep, you're in sport mode (sport mode activated). "Entering sport mode. What the?" You almost had it. lol
04m6gto haha dang so close. I'll have to do an update video. I've ridden them before in sport mode so I could tell something was off but I wasn't quite getting it. Definitely a different procedure all together compared to the rxpx
Revrider550 Yeah, it's like a completely different machine in sport mode. They jump out of the hole. Why they make you enter sport mode first before activating it, I have no idea. Make another video throwing that thing around like it's meant to be. But in sport mode this time. lol. Good video, regardless.
04m6gto I will for sure. I could tell they had the torque to be awesome just clearly didn't know how to activate it and make the most of it. Thanks for the feedback glad you enjoyed it!
They're a great starter ski. They dont handle waves great but they're fun and cheap. I will say I'm not sure how well the 3 up will actually do with 3 adult riders on it. But other than that I think they're a great way to go.
Anyone have an issue with their IBR stop working with only 14 hours on the machine? Cant figure it out why. Once I start the ski and hit the gas IBR light comes on with a loud beep, reverse and neutral don't work.
The Spark will beat the living crap out of you in even mild shoppy waters. The light weight and flat hull is terrible to chop through even small waves.
EvoPortal if your out of shape on any craft you'll get beat up. You gripping on and basically doing squats with jumps each jump. Depending on how long you ride you will be soar. I've been soar after riding a boat. If your isometrically grabbing any object i.e hand gripping without release for an extended amount of time you will be soar.
You obviously have never rode the Spark. The Spark has a flat hull because of the weak engine. If the hull was designed well for performance and handling the Spark would go 20mph top speed with such weak engine. The fact is the Spark simply can NOT handle even small choppy waters. It has nothing to do with how fit you personal are but everything to do with the Sparks hull design.
If youre running small lakes go for a used spark. Nice and reliable and youll save some money over new and have less depreciation to worry about. If youre running larger lakes or oceans try to find a used GTR 215. Supercharged so its something you can grow into power wise and the fiberglass hull will handle larger waves better. you can also look at the Kawasaki STX 15F as its a proven platform that has been around for a while and has some nice used options that wouldnt differ much if at all from the new ones. At this point id say stay away from 2 stroke skis unless youre pretty handy. theres lots of little parts that can break and put the ski out of commission for a decent period of time. A lot pf people are big fans of the yamaha VX line but im not super familiar with them so i dont have much to offer for recommendations there unfortunately.
Clash with Matt I would say if you're planning to ride 3 up a lot go with the ex. I think the spark is a lot of fun and for a solo or two passenger ski it's great but with how light it is riding 3 up would be less than ideal other than in total must situations
HDjoe III awesome I'll be out on oneida this Saturday! If you're out there this weekend I'd be all about meeting up! If you have Facebook or Instagram shoot me a message on there both are "Revrider550" it's the easiest way to message back and forth.
@@Revrider550 yessir....used to drive two hours just to eat there and then chill at the mall. Might make my way out there either Sunday or next weekend
I don't like that they are plastic. Id rather have a heavy fiber glass ski. Sitting on the showroom floor next to other ski's the Spark looks like a cheap toy. No thanks, Ill pass.
Harley Rider yeah with how the trim fades on normal skis I'd be very worried about how the sparks will hold up over time as that's essentially all they're made of. I'll be curious to see how much of an issue fading ends up being with them.
I was comparing the difference in throttle response in sport mode but I didn't have it in sport mode anyway in the end so it's a pointless part of the video. Regardless of HP how responsive the throttle is can vary heavily between vehicles.
I'm really not afan of the Spark. Or SeaDoo at all, for that matter. I've seen so many burning and broken SkiDoo's on trails, that I wouldn't trust a boat made by the same company.

Logan Crawford 50 is fast enough imo especially when it gets there faster than anything else on the lake

the delay is because it isn't in sport mode, to put it in sport mode you need to do what you did and press it again.
Thanks for the video. I am strongly considering a Spark. Where was this video shot? It looks like 1000 islands.

Revrider550 No problem. Thanks for uploading.
clearly you havent ridden a 300
Please make an update video with it actually in sport mode! Make sure you click the button one more time after you hold the button
ShaunGrey I plan to for sure. Just gotta get back out on the water with my buddy who owns them again and then the update will be up!
seen lots of videos on the spark. not much about price on service ??
I have a 2019 Yamaha Fx cruiser shvo limited out on Skaneateles if you want to review it!
Awesome I really appreciate that! I'll try to get in touch this summer id love to get some seat time on the new FX!!
You never put it in sport you needed to tap it again
Tazpar yea
After you hold the sport mode button you have to press it one more time to actually go in sport mode
How did you get that color? Black and grey looks so much better than the options at my dealership.
These are 2015 models so they stopped offering this color combo in 2017 i believe
looks really good for a Spark
Thanks for information for spark
The wrap on the spark 👌😵🚫🧢
Ayy I'm from CNY too.
CNY gang!
How much was your ski with all the options after tax if you don't mind me asking. Also what camera are you using to record yourself
Zach Rozzario my ski is the rxp x I got it as a leftover on 2015 for $12,600. My camera is a Sony AS100V
How many hours can these things handle? I am on verge of buying used one
You need to change oil and filter before every season. But there is a big service at 200hours👍
You forgot to click the button again when turning on sport mode
U think the seado spark is worth it because we are thinking about buying 2

That u thought was sport mode isnt sport mode... i have to hold the butten for like 1.5 seconds and then u press it once again and that is sport mode

It's a 2015, this was a color option that year.

Onieda lake?
Yes it is!
Will the jet pack work on those
kaleb cathey I don't believe they have enough power to use the jet pack. I'm pretty sure you need 155 horsepower or more
Alrighty thank you
You never had it in sport mode , you have to push it twice. if you had read the words it would have told you. sport mode is alot diff.

Well it is a cheap toy
its really not a cheap toy, and in some cases like hitting a rock fiber glass will break where the spark would just bounce off.
I'll own a couple
8 min.. are you really comparing a spark to an rx? lol... more than 3x the hp no kidding its diff.
