It's funny that strahd has a harem despite he's tormenting obsession with Tatyana
He’s a conquering warlord and a predator, he will never say “this is enough” and go home. He will take what he wants, forever. He will never be truly satisfied with anyone or anything.
I love this so much! In my own game, Ludmilla has a couple of imps along with a displacer beast as companions. Something I regularly do if my party is speaking to Ludmilla is have her imp, invisible, hold a note book, whilst she, using mage hand, uses a quill to take down notes as she speaks. I'm also planning on having her do this during combat with her if they face her before the 'final' battle with her, so that she takes notes as its happening. I have also given her the ability to 'bloodbend' (basically use telekanisis on people) as well as boil their blood, and the spell 'Ice Shard' has been re-flavoured as 'Blood Shard' for her.
She's the fortold enemy of the sorceress of my group, and the players has said that she is interested in her a lot, as she seems cold and deadly but also a lot more intelligent than the other brides which is what I was going for.
Brilliant! My players had only a short interaction with her, but it was enough to impress them! She was very gentle, but deadly!!! Your art and guide are excellent and I shall save them, whenever I'll need to remind myself of her character!

Just finished watching! Great content as ever! It's given me some really cool ideas for my Curse of Strahd Campaign. In my home game, I've had Ludmilla be a master of shadow magic. She is able to animate peoples shadows and control them as servants.
I had her buddy up to my wizard player and offer him access to copy spells into his spellbook in the castle library in return for him bringing Ireena back to the castle.

Your videos have been a great help to me around Curse of Strahd. I’m about to run it for my players and they’ve given some great perspective.
I have a question about her stat block: why does Ludmilla have no prepared spells? She has stuff in her legendary actions, but nothing levelled or cantrips. Is there a reason for that?
@@dalekslayer14 yes, the reason why I did that is to help the DM have less to keep track of, I just give her spell-like effects that you can immediately use instead of having to refer back and forth between spells, I find this to personally be easier to use and wanted to share it with people
