- Barbecue in Texas is progressing due to the new Barbaquero Movement. (What is a Barbaquero - a pit master with Mexican Food/ Culture influences and a strong focus on Tacos). The Burnt Bean Co. in Seguin, TX is not your ordinary TX BBQ spot. One of the things that separates them is that they have 2 award winning Pit Masters (Ernest Servantes / David Kirkland) working in tandem to smoke up some of the BEST BBQ that Texas has to offer. On Sundays they are offering up a Mexican Brunch Menu that is creative and literally has everyone in Texas talking about it. I had the opportunity to visit Burnt Bean Co. and my taste buds have not been the same. In this video I deep dive into the Sunday Brunch Menu and show you just why this needs to be the next place you are going to eat.

One thing I can say about the Burnt Bean Co they are consistent, incredible tasting food every datgum time. Love this place!

Between burnt bean and 2m I always end up going broke when I’m on that side of town. With blacks bbq in new braunsfels there’s a little bbq triangle going on over there.
Why go outside of San Antonio?
It’s only 40 min. This spot is well worth the drive.
Ive driven from Corpus to here twice in the last couple of months. Its a drive you will not regret. Trust me!
