I haven't actually even seen very much drama... (at least on hoyolab) all I've seen is a few rare instances "ew, you can't ship with , they're different ages!" I think the worst drama I've seen is consistent grossed out reactions to Kaeluc. But yeah, I just ignore the drama that I do see to the best of my power :3

ChongQiu is honestly one of the least debated Ships I’ve seen in Genshin, Like, I’ve never had someone upset at me for shipping it while I have for basically all my other ships

Yep, I think it's the least controversial ship in my book along with HuFei (did you guys know the official shipping wiki also calls then "Arson"? Lovely) But I mean, guess it's also kinda hard to argue against them when they're attached by the hip, I can barely recall arts where they're not together or events that don't at least mention each other

My favourite part of the irodori festival was going online as seeing Xingqiu fanart which had nothing to do with chongyun. Thank you for focusing on Xingqiu and giving him new characters to interact MHY. They are their own independent characters and not just a friendship

As someone who has been part of the genshin community since day one and watched the fandom grow, I give coley major points for having the courage to make this video. I know very well that talking about genshin ships is like walking into a war with seemingly no end. Both sides so stubborn to prove their side that they forget the ship they are fighting for is fictional and it gets real personal real fast. Great job explaining coley!

Once I got bored of the game, I went to search for fanart and stuff, and got a whiplash seeing how the fanon is wildly different from how I interpreted the game. Never even heard of the popular ships. When I saw them I was like "huh? people ship that??"

Ah this is perfect! A calm, almost analytical explanation of the genshin ships is exactly what this fandom needs and Coley is the perfect person to do this. This gives great insight to all of these ships and maybe helps people understand the reasons behind different ships. Also to add to the Xiaoven note: Xiao’s namecard says that ”He longs for a day to come when he will wear the mask and dance - not to conquer demons, but to the sound of that flute amid a sea of flowers” Basically this heavily implies that Xiao wishes to listen and dance to Venti’s music without having to bear the burden of his karmic debt. Also the ”sea of flowers” is very likely the Dandelion sea which is said to be located somewhere in Mondstadt.
I would also love to see more Genshin ship videos or just Genshin videos in general. Like there are so many aspects of the lore that would be super interesting to hear about in a video

I think the funnest thing about Traveler ships... is that it really is interchangeable. Like Chilumi can so easily be Chether (idk what their actual ship name is, but I saw this once and ran with it, lol). And same with Xiao X Traveler, Venti X Traveler, Kaeya X Traveler, ect. Because the player can chose either sibling in game. :D
Oh, I saw the discussion about that first one somewhere. Basically, some people really like the idea of Childe with powerful and strong woman because of our dear and beloved Cryo Archon. This fits the bill perfectly for Lumine. But the same person said that there is nothing wrong with Aether fitting the bill. They are MC *and* twins, so yeah. People will be biased to one sibling they picked. If only we could stop the discussion of "canon" MC and a "canon" Royal of the Abyss like that.
I ship Chilumi and I heard from other shippers the reason why they ship Childe with lumine not aether , and many of them said that Aether has very humble attitude and can’t be stubborn ,rival for Childe who always seeks for competition. Lumine compared to Aether , is little more competitive , persistent (we can see it from Lumine’s movement how she is more of on attack while Aether is defence) . That’s why shippers prefer Lumine bc it makes very popular ship genre of enemies to lovers, lovers and rivals and strong woman who will compete and challenge strong man . Both aether and Lumine ships are good , but since twins are slightly different Chilumi has more spice to it and it’s extremely popular for that reason

Anyone that thinks the Traveler is underage hasn't been paying attention. The twins are eternally youthful, end of story. Their appearance is that of a young adult that 'might' not be legally allowed to drink yet. Chilumi is cute af and one of the few straight ships I actually appreciate.
Yea, I once saw someone try to say the traveler is underage like A MONTH ago😭 the traveler is literally 500+ years old and it's obvious that they're using some kind of pretend name/identity anyways (since in We Will Be Reunited the abyss twin literally calls out Aether/Lumine in voice dialogue, when all the other characters call you by whatever name you chose) Either way, chilumi is a rlly cute and unproblematic ship, probably my favorite Childe ship, with Chaeya being a second choice. And for Lumine, probably my fav, assuming she's the traveler and not the abyss twin.

The Traveler twins have been around since the fall of Khaenriah AT THE VERY LEAST, and one of Ei’s voice lines has the Traveler straight up tell her that they are falling stars, and stars are usually thousands if not millions of years old. If anything, theres a very real possibility that Lumine and Aether are the oldest characters in Genshin. Plus the whole “they’re short so they must be a minor” is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard. Like, short adults exist too.
Additions to Some Ships ScaraChi/ChiScara: In the current plot, Childe has actually been sent by the Tsaritsa to hunt down Scaramouche since the latter has deserted the Fatui whilst in the possession of one of the Macguffins that the Tsaritsa needs for her big mysterious machinations. So now, a lot of the fanwork includes some cat and mouse, “catch me if you can” type shenanigans and tension. VenLumi/VenTraveler: Theres actually an achievement you can get by siiting in the hands of the giant statue in Mondstadt called “Beloved of the Anemo Archon”, which is just more ammo for the ship XiaoAther/XiaoTraveler: In Xiao’s latest birthday letter, he says “ The wrath of evil spirits, omens of calamity… and your voice. That’s all I need to hear.” Also, if you have him in your Serenitea Pot, he says a lot of lines that can be interpreted as romantic, such as swearing to protect the place for the Traveler’s sake, saying that the pain from his karma has lessened and it might because of the Traveler keeping him company, and even offering to take a walk in Liyue harbor together (something he used to refuse doing because he hates being in public).
For Sara personally I ship her with gorou as former enemies turned allies and a pretty decent fanfic I've read of the 2 involves a mix bath at the peace talks.

Proof: - They wear their Visions in the same spot - Albedo's eyes are the colour of Sucrose's hair and Vision, meanwhile Sucrose's eyes are golden like Albedo's hair and Vision - Both have blue and white uniforms and while this might be coincidental, knowing that Lisa is kind of in charge of the uniforms, this might've been her doing.

Fun fact about why Sara likes the Shogun so much: Sara fell off of a mountain when she was still a young Tenguu (I can’t remember exactly why) and when she awoke from the fall, she had an electro vision, however her wings no longer worked. She was then found by Tenryou commission police and adopted into the Kujou clan because of her vision. This is also why during the vision hunt decree, Sara said she was more than happy to return her vision to the shogun in the end.
I love how Genshin lore is either normal such as "this character bought their vision, kinda accidently, this guy is rich and lives a pretty normal rich boy life etc." Or the wildest array of events you've ever heard and there is NO INBETWEEN. It's either, haha this character likes cooking hihi, or He challenged the god of thunder to a duel before the throne and was executed via tiddy sword. ICONIC
“coincidentally” Itto has a Tengu rival-friend he fell down a mountain with during a match of sumo, they were both very injured and Itto couldn’t walk due to injury, assuming it’s Sara she probably got her vision as her determination peaked while she’s bringing back Itto to safety despite her injured state, during that time Itto was noted thinking how tengus are so strong(probably cus of her vision)
The stated the three words ‘I’m a minor’ in an inazuma dialogue. There are plenty of instances of the traveler being a minor despite their large age, however the most visible evidence is them calling themselves a ‘minor’
@@blushpinkbunny to my knowledge, there has not been one instance where the travelers say anything about being minors and I've been playibg since launch. It's one thing to have a headcanon but it's another to be spreading false information.
Another ship that I’ve seen a lot is Kazuha and Xiao. One of the biggest backings being that their Japanese VAs voiced these two other characters who had an amazing relationship but ended in tragedy so people see Kazuha and Xiao and are like “their love continued on in another life” Also something that I don’t think gets as talked about as often is the platonic relationships, like there are so many that just so dang good. Some of my favorites are: the archons, they get shoved together like friends that have known each other for so long no matter how much they annoy each other they still care. It can range from angsty of them reminiscing over their lives to straight up comedy of them enabling each others bad habits. Like they often show their less than godly sides to each other exclusively. Another good one if course is Albedo, Klee, and Alice. With Alice and Klee both being so cheerful and Albedo being more reserved is often about them taking him in as family and showering him with familial care. Also from Mondstadt this is a much smaller one, not much for it but it’s still great, it’s Diluc acting as a parent for Bennett, Fischl, and Razor. Mostly comedy from Diluc being exhausted by these kids he’s trying to stop from dying. It works in the way he can help Razor with using a claymore, help Bennett with pyro usage, and for Fischl while not combat related since Diluc is from a high end society that’s something him and Fischl could connect on. And finally Kazuha and Beidou (or just the entire Crux fleet itself or sometimes Ninguang) it often has different depictions like coworkers, siblings, or even motherly relationship with each other. Most common thing I’ve seen for it is then drinking together in celebration. Can get angsty with the whole story on how Kazuha became part of the crux fleet as well.
Okay but as for platonic ships? Just the idea of Thoma, Ayato and Ayaka being a lil squad of buddies makes my heart sing. Like the artists who draw the three of them being friends are so talented and understand the assignment too

As an adult who looks pretty young, I’m sometimes a tad saddened by discourse about whether adult characters who look young should be “allowed” to be depicted in relationships. Like plenty of adults I know look very young, and that doesn’t affect our ability to consent or have partners 😞

As an adult with a smaller body i disagree in this case. The traveler is 500+ but we dont know their body age, and EVERYONE calls them a child. Saying that just bc theyre super old doesnt mean anything and is used as a excuse for pedos ("she looks 12 but shes 5000!!!")

They don't even look childish in my opinion, I was surprised when i first heard people tell them they can't drink. They definitely don't look 12. They also clearly don't have the mind of a child. What is body age? If someone is 25 but people mistake them for a teenager, it doesn't actually change how old they are. They're still 25. I would agree to it being weird if Traveler actually looked AND behaved significantly younger than they do, but as they are it's fine. They're like young adults. Of course if you're still uncomfortable with them being shipped that's okay, just don't look at it. I'm just saying it's not immoral for it to exist. There are plenty of reasons that people are okay with traveler pairings that don't have anything to do with p*dobait at all.

The debate about Lumine's or Aether's age is that they're way too fckn old for any other character, right? Because the cluelessness about their age is only amongst the characters in game, not for the players so it wouldn't make sence to be controvertial in shippings.
Yeeeaaah, I think that people forget that when it comes to immortals (or any long living being) in fiction, actual chronological age isn't that important anymore, since if they're so old they'll rarely have someone with a similar age (and half the time there's a good chance they'll be related). I'd say the mental age is much more important; cause, like, if I remember right, Klee is chronologically around 50 yo because elfs age super slowly; but physically and mentally she's 8, so by all means she's a kid. So, she looks like a kid, acts like a kid, and thinks like one; so she's a kid. And following on the examples, there's also Venti, who looks like a 15 yo (well, not exactly 15 because we have no official cannon, but somewhere around that) because he took the form of the nameless bard; but he acts much older and he's mentally older than that (and he's an alcoholic), so he's not a kid or a teen, his character isn't even written to be child coded; he acts like an adult (not a very responsible one, but adult nonetheless), he just has a baby face (which gets accentuated by the anime-like style). (And, like, seriously, how many actual people in the world exist that look way younger than they actually are? There's a whole subreddit about it for goodness sake; are they going to say that every working and independent adult that has a baby face should be treated like a kid/teen just because they look a bit like one? Or that every teen that looks older than they actually are should be treated like an adult just because they look older? Age isn't always something so obvious even in normal circumstances) People sometimes forget that things work different in fiction; you have so many different species that age very differently to real life human beings, their chronological age isn't going to matter as much because age works very differently for them. Doesn't make any sense to make all this drama about it.
@@gabrielabatista6016 i think the issue is more so there's a trope of 1000 year old children and even pushing looking like a teen is seen as weird. it's also a concern of sexualizing the physical appearances of said characters that's the major issue in both shipping spaces and just.. lewd-ing any of them. While yes, in story these species and characters can work differently in universe, people view it from a question of "What were the devs trying to convey to an audience with an immortal being mentally, but looks like a child?" (a lot of sinister implications most of the time with this one..) I think also the issue with genshin is that they use the same model for teens as they do adults instead of making them look different most of the time (xiao is the same as venti but I'd say xiao looks older imo). Child-coding isn't only behavior either, it's to do with how a character is drawn proportionally (though, I can't say venti entirely falls into this b/c again, if his physical appearance is younger it's more likely a teenager and it's harder to define what a teenager looks like in genshin). Not saying any of this is the correct belief btw I just think it's something to note of when approaching this topic that it's not always something you can look at the in-canon universe and just go "well this is normal for them" but an examination on the creators and why'd they'd go out of their way present things like that. Drawing real-life comparisons of younger looking people (I'm one myself lol) isn't always what people think the creators are trying to showcase, but instead something nastier.
@@auriauri8872 When it comes to anime, you need to realise people like the design, not their age. Not to mention, their appearance can be very deceiving. For example, you have a male with face like he's in late 20's and turns out he's 17 (Kujo Jotaro part 3 lmao). Then you have this girl who look like 10 but actually an old mad scientist who everytime die becomes younger instead of dying (Mobius from Honkai). Honestly, the only problem is that when their age doesn't represent their personality that much. If they are old but have tiny body and act like adult, that's fine and understandable (especially if it's given explanation later). Now if they're old but you make them act like a child with child body, it's where you know there's hidden agenda. I don't have problem with loli hag because the trope can be very good. For example, Mobius knows people more vulnerable against child so she keeps acting like one to lure them. She's basically immortal who uses her child look appearance to trap people into her experiment. Of course the one who kno her won't fall for it, but you get my point.
it really goes either way - the twins are...kind of out there. they're definitely not children, but they don't have the tall character model and it seems like they look pretty young to other characters, too. that doesn't necessarily mean they are that young, even physically, but it puts people off shipping them with characters generally considered over 18. on the other hand, their immortality and the implication that they are potentially older than the stars puts people off from shipping them with people under 18. some people think that it's alright to ship them with people in a similar age situation like venti and xiao when others are incredibly against shipping the twins with anyone whatsoever - and some people think it's fine to ship them with anyone, or anyone in whatever age category they consider them to be in physically.
i love fishnet!! bennet/fischl's never even really been a ship i'm interested in but that ship name's so good i might start incorporating it into more of my stuff just to push the Fishnet agenda!
I propose that Goro and Kazuhas ship should be “koro” because it roughly translates to near or around and it refers to however far apart they may be they come back around to each other or are near to one another in spirit 🍃🍂 Also Kazuhas wind tunnel thingy brings everything near him which could include goro lol🌪
To add on to ChiLi (Because I love talking about them), they're very complementary and share certain similarities that just, make them work. Zhongli is a warrior god who, judging by lore, can use multiple weapons besides the polearm (he has an archery ring, for example, which suggests he has mastery over the bow), and Childe is capable of using all weapons with the exception of the bow (which he is currently mastering), and prides himself as a warrior. There's also plenty of angst to be had, what with Childe being mortal and Zhongli being non-human, and the many, many death flags that Childe has. And elementally speaking, water and earth exist side by side in nature. That aside, these two are constantly marketed together. I have not forgotten the advertisement.
I remember the first white day art of Genshin it was these two lmao, I think there was also talk of a strap Zhongli was wearing in one of the arts (his first birthday art perhaps?) that matched the strap Childe wears around his knee, also people went crazy at any sight of blue in Zhongli's art and orange in Childe's If you ignore Twitter, shipping in Genshin is so silly and fun

His bday art included ascension materials of the characters closest to him, including qingxin (representative of both Xiao and Ganyu), silkflowers (Hu Tao), glaze lilies (Guizhong), and a peek of a single starconch (Childe). Tbh, Twitter is exactly what has made the shipping more fun for me, personally. So long as you block and move on, it's easy to enjoy yourself. You get to learn a lot, too. For example, I wouldn't have even known the different symbolic meanings of the chopsticks if not for Twitter, as well as other cultural details. It's been great.
Also the fact that they're the only character probably ever to have 2 banners next to eachother, and don't forget that Korean ish drama scene in Zhongli's collected miscellany, them having 2 lines for eachother and their low health line being very similar.

As for 45:50 the reason Sara cares so much about the Shogun, is that she believes Ei saved her life. I think it is something along the lines of Sara believing Ei granted her a vision in her childhood, to which she was falling off a cliff at high speeds.

Zhongchi is the most tagged ship along with Kaeluckae as second. But yeah, it's definitely up there. It's the most popular f/f ship if that's what you mean :)
A note on DiluVen: Please keep in mind that Venti IS immortal, no mater what he looks like. I see a lot of people talk abt how the Travelers aren't minors, which is true, and how they're just eternally youthful, so I feel that people need to bear that in mind for Venti as well. Venti is quite obviously physically very small, and has a baby-face, but the Travelers have the same thing going on, and Venti is even older than the Travelers. I think the ship should be respected, especially by the people who make the argument that the Travelers aren't minors (which again, they are canonically NOT minors). I think that the ship is okay, especially since Diluc already knows that Venti is an Archon. Anyways, this is just my opinions so y'know-
as a zhongven shipper I agree 100%- Venti and the twins have been alive for so long (venti is like 2400- 2600 I believe?) and the twins are older than khaenriah (confirmed) so there's no way they can be 'minors.' T.T Also about your last line- don't worry you're so valid! Plus the game's lore itself backs you up.

My favorite ship has to be Guili. I know that they can’t be a thing because she’s dead but I still like the ship and I hope we get some ingame flashback with her. I’m a sucker for tragic love stories.Also here’s a little fact about them guizhong made the memory of dust for zhongli and inside is a special secret and he still can’t open it. The sword you spoke of is the "Primordial Jade cutter". The description said "So it was also with this precious sword, carved as it once was to be given as an expensive gift to a certain someone. This jade too was once cut for love of peace and luxury. It's not the entire description but the sword did mention something "These were the words of a friend long forgotten" which might hint at Guizhong.

in original CN voicelines, kaeya calls albedo "handsome" and the sketching part of albedo said about kaeya was actually so easy to draw when he was inspired so it took him only three strokes to draw him while it was vice versa for Huffman because he's not inspired at that time. it was also mentioned in irodori festival that albedo could speedrun his painting when he's inspired :) i feel like kaebedo is more of "off-screen bantering" kind of thing which lies behind time-gated events and voicelines to get to know about their dynamics!
I never knew the character's ages were controversial. I thought it was kinda obvious all the shorter characters were young adults. Hu Tao and Barbara are the only two I think could be younger than 18, but it's still unlikely.
many of the shorter characters are actually teenagers. Bennet, razor, fischl, chongyun, xingqui, xiangling, xinyan, etc. Technically the young adult is childe, who is around 19-21
fischl, barbara and noelle cant drink so they are canonically under 18. only ones I know to be confirmed under 18. fischl is kinda hinted to be 14-15 but not really confirmed, it is just based on her story and how it lines up with the current.

Fun fact, KaeBedo is solely based on two lines: In Kaeya's profile, when talking about Albedo, he says something like "Do you have a crush on him too?" And recently, in the last Inazuman festival event, Klee has a line like "Albedo paints Hilichurls, Kaeya, and even Dodoco!"
Oh yeah, also in the summer something event he calls Albedo's flowers "beautiful" lol But the fact Klee mentions that Albedo draws Kaeya while talking about things he draws, makes me thing he does it to spite Kaeya, each drawing getting worse and worse lol
Not entirely two lines but also the whole Khaenriah connection, coworkers to lovers trope, sharing the secret of being Khaenrian and potential menaces to Mondstadt/Teyvat and you could also include the found family trope if you add Klee being taking care by both, but it's true that Kaeya's famous line might have kickstarted things 😆 Also fun fact about the whole drawing thing, it seems like the English translation of Albedo drawing Kaeya in 3 strokes is slightly mistranslated and the og dialogue implies that he only does that "sometimes" when his mood is not good to put effort, which combined with the info that he said about spending hours on drawing Huffman (and now Klee saying he draws Kaeya quite a lot), we can say he actually does draw Kaeya well too!
It’s really nice to see someone talk about so many ships and treat all of them with respect even if they are considered controversial. One thing that annoys me about the genshin fandom is how people always have issues when it comes to respecting people’s opinions (like how everyone despises you if you ship traveler ships for example). Basic shipping etiquette is to always have respect for other people even when they have a different opinion. If you don’t like someone else’s ship, you don’t have to engage in it but don’t get mad at others who do. That’s something this fandom really needs help with.
Small things to add onto ChongQiu: - During Chongyun's hangout, it's discovered Xingqiu was actually the one to suggest the spooky forest as a place to hunt evil spirits, that place is actually a popular one for couples' dates lmao - Their designs were made to contrast one another! Chongyun being the yang and Xingqiu being the yin, I remember some talk about Xingqiu being phoenix but can't remember what exactly that was about lol - The origin of this ship was because their gameplay worked together very well, people didn't actually know they were besties at first Also small fun fact about Xingqiu, for the longest time in the game, his Vision was flipped, it has been corrected but yeah, small fun fact I guess Talking about Visions, if you flip Childe's Vision, the other side is red and has the Fatui symbol on it, discovered this while fucking around in a website with Genshin models
As someone who has seen Kazuscara as a ship grow, here are some extra notes! - Their origin was actually because they were the first Inazuman boys to be revealed, Scaramouche in Unreconciled Stars event and Kazuha's model being leaked around Lantern Rite - Surprisingly, this ship nailed down Kazuha's personality very well when he wasn't in the game yet, then again, I'm pretty sure only Kazuscara shippers were writing about Kazuha at the time lmfao - Kazuha is actually alive because of Scaramouche, since back then he spared his great grandfather, whose father was someone who helped Scaramouche during the time he was at the Tatarasuna - Kazuha's bloodline indicates he's actually "Niwa Kazuha", since his great grandfather was adopted into the clan. Niwa in Japanese is written as "red feather", so you can guess Kazuha's trademark red streak is actually family genetics, which in turn explains why his great grandfather was spared when his hat fell off (NPCs lied to us/hj) This ship is one of the most unusual I've had the pleasure of experience, a majority of us gave up on canon relation when the letters theory were proven false, but then Irodori shoved a whole ass cookie down our throat lmao (also gave birth to a very weird group of friends), oh also, we were mocked for liking a "weird ship", when we just wanted to do our thing lmao Ps. The fanarts of Kazuscara are incredibly cute, there's an artist who draws them as cats and it’s so adorable! :D
Love the fact you presented all these ships and why people may or may not like them without getting passive aggressive or catty. I feel like a lot of ship videos that attempt to present themselves impartially will still take passive aggressive potshots at the fan base of ships they personally find distasteful. Like “I’m not trying to yuck your yum” followed by listing all the reasons they find the ship boring and uninteresting or even illogical (as if “logic” in shipping isn’t routinely ignored), only to then feign devil’s advocate and listing off all the most superficial of superficial reasons to like it that boil down to “they’re hot and breathed in each other’s direction that 1 time” as if that isn’t the basis for like 90% of ships regardless of fandom.

Just wanna add some things about my fav ship, zhongven asides from they are both immortal gods and total opposites of each other; it's because they are close friends in the lore. Zhongli's character story 5 is mostly about barbatos; how he came to him offering friendship, starting the 7 OG archon meetings that zhongli held so dear in his memory, until his disappearance. Their lore behind books and furniture are all hilarious and show how close they were in the past, and still are now. Their old married couple vibe is so funny to me. Also I never understand people who says venti looks like a child. His model is the same as albedo, kazuha, xiao, etc. He is just cuter.

I remember having to dig to the deepest depths of the internet to find the shipping genshin fandom, now its the face of the community 💀 Venti took the form of his friend which was described as not too young but not too old, and a minor is young. So id say his friend was around 18-20, same with traveller.
As a Chiscara fan, I'm hoping for some fine angst when they finally meet to fight for the gnosis. I doubt that any of them will actually die, since Scara is very likely to be reedened and made playable and well... I don't think It's a good idea to start this process by getting him killed or making him kill another playable character. But I sure do hope that the conflict is still intense

I'm so happy to see Xiao x Ganyu made it to the list. I love those two to bits, they are the perfect mix of melancholy, loneliness, mutual comfort and awkward fluff. Here's a small trivia about their voicelines though, because Ganyu's voiceline about Xiao in the English version is kinda different compared to the others : In the English version it almost sounds like she is hesitant to deal with him, because of the death of his former comrades. However in the other languages, she implies that she'd like to get along better but because of his tragic past, she doesn't know how to approach him. I guess the nuance was kinda lost in translation. PS: kinda bummed XingTao and Chongling didn't make it into the video. I guess there was just too many other options or they are just THAT unpopular TvT

Despite there being some ships I myself strongly dislike, it was nice to hear why the ships exist and to realise that really it doesn't matter, as long as it's not illegal it's all just harmless fun. It's just great to have some ship walthroughs without the judgement and hate, which I am ashamed to say, I have also propagated a few times. Here's to not being so dumb in the future! a note on zhongven/venzhong: zhongli's character story 5 said that "nor would the wind ever return again", however in Mandarin it is said that something roughly of "nor would the wind return to his side again" which implies a much more personal/intimate longing. also we have the wings of shimmering galaxy, where venti pour wine on Zhongli's head and he's not mad at it, and rather warned him, [ Later, the stone replied. It dabbed its face with a handkerchief, saying: "Your performance was indeed unmatched throughout the land. But the next time you get drunk and pour wine on my head, I shall be quite angry."] ps: we have a lot of lore speculation about them, as their relationship are mostly depicted in strange cryptic random corner of the lore world (huge shout out to the furniture lore)
I like Zhongven or Venzhong because they give old couple who live for a long time vibe. Like both just sitting next each other and maybe one of them say "Remember when..." and the other replies "Yes, it happened seven hundred years ago" then they can also bicker about what happen 1000 years ago.
Also the way that in one of Zhongli’s dialogues he just immediately knows Venti visited and IMMEDIATELY knew to brew something!!! He acts like he’s had to do this multiple times before

I rlly love XiaoYu, one of my headcanons for them is that Ganyu stays with Xiao in order to keep in touch with her adeptus side while Xiao stays with her to learn more about Liyue and it's people. Please for me they're the perfect bridge between the adepti and mortals jwndjdn I wish Hoyoverse would explore and progress their relationship more, they have so much potential
Another thing about the ChiLi tag is that it's a "switch tag" iirc. Some people have preferences on dynamics and dislike seeing tha other, so the tags were separated into TartaLi and ZhongChi :))
Rather than sex positions, at its core TartaLi vs ZhongChi is more about whether you want to read soft Zhongli or more dominant Zhongli, and whether you read Childe as a soft dom type or a masochist with some self-destructive tendencies. TartaLi is a very soft ship. ZhongChi is a very spicy ship.

I don't play Genshin, but this video ha seen surprisingly informative of what makes different type of character relationships appealing. From friends to lovers, to childhood friends, to she was a punk she did ballet, to sugar parents and babies, this has inspired me to write different types of relationships with my own OCs.
One rairpare I like is Chongyun and Hu Tao, with like spirts and the warding off of them, I dont know if its a ship, but maybe a rivalry, idk, I just like their dynamic. But Bennett and Chongyun are cool, it isnt like an OTP, but i think its nice. Its mainly because they were in my first pull, but ehhhhh its fine. I think their personalitys could work, with Chongyun that wards off evil villains and Bennett has bad luck. I ship... a lot, but i dont really ship in genshin. I guess my only real OTP is Venti and Xiao, and maybe Chongyun and Xingqiu.
Genshin ships are something else, im literally into almost all the femslash ships such as Beiguang, JeanLisa, EiMiko, KokoSara (i know.), EulAmber but i do have to say all the ships have such interesting chemistry and MHM Thomato is a good one too 🙏

i don't understand why ships are so complicated in genshin community. they're literally fictional characters with no confirmed age (most of them i think). just because a character has shorter/smaller body doesn't always mean they're minor. i usually just ship my favorite characters together. if they look good together in my opinion, automatically shipped. except if they're canon blood related siblings/relatives and childrens
I went and spead read some comments about their ships and what they think, and it's very interesting lol. I feel like you can ship whomever you like together cuz they're fictional and as long as it isn't plain illegal 👀 My personal favorite is AlbeCrose I like idea of the two interoverts who have a teacher/student and co-worker kind off relationship , but slowly release they have feeling for one another. I think what makes me like them is because Sucrose is a shy and passionate girl who gets nervous easily, and Albedo is a calm collected boy who could care less about the opinion of others. I could imagine Sucrose being the one who constantly gets flustered by sudden compliments from Albedo, or Albedo being touched by a compliments from Sucrose, making him realize he values her more then a friend. Pretty much I think they fit each other, and could blend well together in character development

@@scarxnnivs bruh did you just forget Irodori? Xingqiu had his solo debut and didn't mention chongyun at all. I love this event for the fact that he isn't dragging chongyun around as an accessory. My favourite part of the irodori festival was going online as seeing Xingqiu fanart which had nothing to do with chongyun. Thank you for focusing on Xingqiu and giving him new characters to interact MHY. They are their own independent characters and not just a friendship

As someone who has been part of the genshin community since day one and watched the fandom grow, I give coley major points for having the courage to make this video. I know very well that talking about genshin ships is like walking into a war with seemingly no end. Once I got bored of the game, I went to search for fanart and stuff, and got a whiplash seeing how the fanon is wildly different from how I interpreted the game. Ah this is perfect! A calm, almost analytical explanation of the genshin ships is exactly what this fandom needs and Coley is the perfect person to do this. This gives great insight to all of these ships and maybe helps people understand the reasons behind different ships.
Also to add to the Xiaoven note: Xiao’s namecard says that ”He longs for a day to come when he will wear the mask and dance - not to conquer demons, but to the sound of that flute amid a sea of flowers”
Basically this heavily implies that Xiao wishes to listen and dance to Venti’s music without having to bear the burden of his karmic debt. Also the ”sea of flowers” is very likely the Dandelion sea which is said to be located somewhere in Mondstadt.

Like Chilumi can so easily be Chether (idk what their actual ship name is, but I saw this once and ran with it, lol). And same with Xiao X Traveler, Venti X Traveler, Kaeya X Traveler, ect. Because the player can chose either sibling in game. :D
Oh, I saw the discussion about that first one somewhere. Basically, some people really like the idea of Childe with powerful and strong woman because of our dear and beloved Cryo Archon. This fits the bill perfectly for Lumine. But the same person said that there is nothing wrong with Aether fitting the bill.

I ship Chilumi and I heard from other shippers the reason why they ship Childe with lumine not aether , and many of them said that Aether has very humble attitude and can’t be stubborn ,rival for Childe who always seeks for competition. Lumine compared to Aether , is little more competitive , persistent (we can see it from Lumine’s movement how she is more of on attack while Aether is defence) . That’s why shippers prefer Lumine bc it makes very popular ship genre of enemies to lovers, lovers and rivals and strong woman who will compete and challenge strong man . Both aether and Lumine ships are good , but since twins are slightly different Chilumi has more spice to it and it’s extremely popular for that reason

Anyone that thinks the Traveler is underage hasn't been paying attention. The twins are eternally youthful, end of story. Their appearance is that of a young adult that 'might' not be legally allowed to drink yet.

Yea, I once saw someone try to say the traveler is underage like A MONTH ago😭 the traveler is literally 500+ years old and it's obvious that they're using some kind of pretend name/identity anyways (since in We Will Be Reunited the abyss twin literally calls out Aether/Lumine in voice dialogue, when all the other characters call you by whatever name you chose)
Either way, chilumi is a rlly cute and unproblematic ship, probably my favorite Childe ship, with Chaeya being a second choice. And for Lumine, probably my fav, assuming she's the traveler and not the abyss twin.

The Traveler twins have been around since the fall of Khaenriah AT THE VERY LEAST, and one of Ei’s voice lines has the Traveler straight up tell her that they are falling stars, and stars are usually thousands if not millions of years old. If anything, theres a very real possibility that Lumine and Aether are the oldest characters in Genshin.
Plus the whole “they’re short so they must be a minor” is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard. Like, short adults exist too.

ScaraChi/ChiScara: In the current plot, Childe has actually been sent by the Tsaritsa to hunt down Scaramouche since the latter has deserted the Fatui whilst in the possession of one of the Macguffins that the Tsaritsa needs for her big mysterious machinations. So now, a lot of the fanwork includes some cat and mouse, “catch me if you can” type shenanigans and tension.
VenLumi/VenTraveler: Theres actually an achievement you can get by siiting in the hands of the giant statue in Mondstadt called “Beloved of the Anemo Archon”, which is just more ammo for the ship
XiaoAther/XiaoTraveler: In Xiao’s latest birthday letter, he says “ The wrath of evil spirits, omens of calamity… and your voice. That’s all I need to hear.” Also, if you have him in your Serenitea Pot, he says a lot of lines that can be interpreted as romantic, such as swearing to protect the place for the Traveler’s sake, saying that the pain from his karma has lessened and it might because of the Traveler keeping him company, and even offering to take a walk in Liyue harbor together (something he used to refuse doing because he hates being in public).
For Sara personally I ship her with gorou as former enemies turned allies and a pretty decent fanfic I've read of the 2 involves a mix bath at the peace talks.

Fun fact about why Sara likes the Shogun so much: Sara fell off of a mountain when she was still a young Tenguu (I can’t remember exactly why) and when she awoke from the fall, she had an electro vision, however her wings no longer worked. She was then found by Tenryou commission police and adopted into the Kujou clan because of her vision. This is also why during the vision hunt decree, Sara said she was more than happy to return her vision to the shogun in the end.

The stated the three words ‘I’m a minor’ in an inazuma dialogue. There are plenty of instances of the traveler being a minor despite their large age, however the most visible evidence is them calling themselves a ‘minor’

Another ship that I’ve seen a lot is Kazuha and Xiao. One of the biggest backings being that their Japanese VAs voiced these two other characters who had an amazing relationship but ended in tragedy so people see Kazuha and Xiao and are like “their love continued on in another life”
Also something that I don’t think gets as talked about as often is the platonic relationships, like there are so many that just so dang good.
Some of my favorites are:
the archons, they get shoved together like friends that have known each other for so long no matter how much they annoy each other they still care. It can range from angsty of them reminiscing over their lives to straight up comedy of them enabling each others bad habits. Like they often show their less than godly sides to each other exclusively.
Another good one if course is Albedo, Klee, and Alice. With Alice and Klee both being so cheerful and Albedo being more reserved is often about them taking him in as family and showering him with familial care.
Also from Mondstadt this is a much smaller one, not much for it but it’s still great, it’s Diluc acting as a parent for Bennett, Fischl, and Razor. Mostly comedy from Diluc being exhausted by these kids he’s trying to stop from dying. It works in the way he can help Razor with using a claymore, help Bennett with pyro usage, and for Fischl while not combat related since Diluc is from a high end society that’s something him and Fischl could connect on.
And finally Kazuha and Beidou (or just the entire Crux fleet itself or sometimes Ninguang) it often has different depictions like coworkers, siblings, or even motherly relationship with each other. Most common thing I’ve seen for it is then drinking together in celebration. Can get angsty with the whole story on how Kazuha became part of the crux fleet as well.

As an adult who looks pretty young, I’m sometimes a tad saddened by discourse about whether adult characters who look young should be “allowed” to be depicted in relationships. Like plenty of adults I know look very young, and that doesn’t affect our ability to consent or have partners 😞

What is body age? If someone is 25 but people mistake them for a teenager, it doesn't actually change how old they are. They're still 25.
I would agree to it being weird if Traveler actually looked AND behaved significantly younger than they do, but as they are it's fine. They're like young adults.
Of course if you're still uncomfortable with them being shipped that's okay, just don't look at it. I'm just saying it's not immoral for it to exist. There are plenty of reasons that people are okay with traveler pairings that don't have anything to do with p*dobait at all.

The debate about Lumine's or Aether's age is that they're way too fckn old for any other character, right? Because the cluelessness about their age is only amongst the characters in game, not for the players so it wouldn't make sence to be controvertial in shippings.
Yeeeaaah, I think that people forget that when it comes to immortals (or any long living being) in fiction, actual chronological age isn't that important anymore, since if they're so old they'll rarely have someone with a similar age (and half the time there's a good chance they'll be related).
I'd say the mental age is much more important; cause, like, if I remember right, Klee is chronologically around 50 yo because elfs age super slowly; but physically and mentally she's 8, so by all means she's a kid. So, she looks like a kid, acts like a kid, and thinks like one; so she's a kid.
And following on the examples, there's also Venti, who looks like a 15 yo (well, not exactly 15 because we have no official cannon, but somewhere around that) because he took the form of the nameless bard; but he acts much older and he's mentally older than that (and he's an alcoholic), so he's not a kid or a teen, his character isn't even written to be child coded; he acts like an adult (not a very responsible one, but adult nonetheless), he just has a baby face (which gets accentuated by the anime-like style).
(And, like, seriously, how many actual people in the world exist that look way younger than they actually are? There's a whole subreddit about it for goodness sake; are they going to say that every working and independent adult that has a baby face should be treated like a kid/teen just because they look a bit like one? Or that every teen that looks older than they actually are should be treated like an adult just because they look older? Age isn't always something so obvious even in normal circumstances)
People sometimes forget that things work different in fiction; you have so many different species that age very differently to real life human beings, their chronological age isn't going to matter as much because age works very differently for them. Doesn't make any sense to make all this drama about it.
@@gabrielabatista6016 i think the issue is more so there's a trope of 1000 year old children and even pushing looking like a teen is seen as weird. it's also a concern of sexualizing the physical appearances of said characters that's the major issue in both shipping spaces and just.. lewd-ing any of them. While yes, in story these species and characters can work differently in universe, people view it from a question of "What were the devs trying to convey to an audience with an immortal being mentally, but looks like a child?" (a lot of sinister implications most of the time with this one..) I think also the issue with genshin is that they use the same model for teens as they do adults instead of making them look different most of the time (xiao is the same as venti but I'd say xiao looks older imo). Child-coding isn't only behavior either, it's to do with how a character is drawn proportionally (though, I can't say venti entirely falls into this b/c again, if his physical appearance is younger it's more likely a teenager and it's harder to define what a teenager looks like in genshin). Not saying any of this is the correct belief btw I just think it's something to note of when approaching this topic that it's not always something you can look at the in-canon universe and just go "well this is normal for them" but an examination on the creators and why'd they'd go out of their way present things like that. Drawing real-life comparisons of younger looking people (I'm one myself lol) isn't always what people think the creators are trying to showcase, but instead something nastier.

For example, you have a male with face like he's in late 20's and turns out he's 17 (Kujo Jotaro part 3 lmao). Honestly, the only problem is that when their age doesn't represent their personality that much. If they are old but have tiny body and act like adult, that's fine and understandable (especially if it's given explanation later). Now if they're old but you make them act like a child with child body, it's where you know there's hidden agenda.
I don't have problem with loli hag because the trope can be very good. For example, Mobius knows people more vulnerable against child so she keeps acting like one to lure them. She's basically immortal who uses her child look appearance to trap people into her experiment. Of course the one who kno her won't fall for it, but you get my point.
it really goes either way - the twins are...kind of out there. they're definitely not children, but they don't have the tall character model and it seems like they look pretty young to other characters, too. that doesn't necessarily mean they are that young, even physically, but it puts people off shipping them with characters generally considered over 18. on the other hand, their immortality and the implication that they are potentially older than the stars puts people off from shipping them with people under 18. some people think that it's alright to ship them with people in a similar age situation like venti and xiao when others are incredibly against shipping the twins with anyone whatsoever - and some people think it's fine to ship them with anyone, or anyone in whatever age category they consider them to be in physically.
I've always called bennett/fischl by the ship name Fishnet....but Bennefishl is cute as heck.

To add on to ChiLi (Because I love talking about them), they're very complementary and share certain similarities that just, make them work. Zhongli is a warrior god who, judging by lore, can use multiple weapons besides the polearm (he has an archery ring, for example, which suggests he has mastery over the bow), and Childe is capable of using all weapons with the exception of the bow (which he is currently mastering), and prides himself as a warrior. There's also plenty of angst to be had, what with Childe being mortal and Zhongli being non-human, and the many, many death flags that Childe has. And elementally speaking, water and earth exist side by side in nature.
That aside, these two are constantly marketed together. I have not forgotten the advertisement.
I remember the first white day art of Genshin it was these two lmao, I think there was also talk of a strap Zhongli was wearing in one of the arts (his first birthday art perhaps?) that matched the strap Childe wears around his knee, also people went crazy at any sight of blue in Zhongli's art and orange in Childe's

@@scarxnnivs Ah yes LOL, Zhongli's first bday art. Legendary. His bday art included ascension materials of the characters closest to him, including qingxin (representative of both Xiao and Ganyu), silkflowers (Hu Tao), glaze lilies (Guizhong), and a peek of a single starconch (Childe).
Tbh, Twitter is exactly what has made the shipping more fun for me, personally. So long as you block and move on, it's easy to enjoy yourself. You get to learn a lot, too. For example, I wouldn't have even known the different symbolic meanings of the chopsticks if not for Twitter, as well as other cultural details. It's been great.
Also the fact that they're the only character probably ever to have 2 banners next to eachother, and don't forget that Korean ish drama scene in Zhongli's collected miscellany, them having 2 lines for eachother and their low health line being very similar.
Even on Childe's birthday in China, images of Childe and Zhong Li together were hung everywhere.

As for 45:50 the reason Sara cares so much about the Shogun, is that she believes Ei saved her life. I think it is something along the lines of Sara believing Ei granted her a vision in her childhood, to which she was falling off a cliff at high speeds.

Please keep in mind that Venti IS immortal, no mater what he looks like. I see a lot of people talk abt how the Travelers aren't minors, which is true, and how they're just eternally youthful, so I feel that people need to bear that in mind for Venti as well.
Venti is quite obviously physically very small, and has a baby-face, but the Travelers have the same thing going on, and Venti is even older than the Travelers.
I think the ship should be respected, especially by the people who make the argument that the Travelers aren't minors (which again, they are canonically NOT minors).
I think that the ship is okay, especially since Diluc already knows that Venti is an Archon.
Anyways, this is just my opinions so y'know-

as a zhongven shipper I agree 100%- Venti and the twins have been alive for so long (venti is like 2400- 2600 I believe?) and the twins are older than khaenriah (confirmed) so there's no way they can be 'minors.' T.T

The stone dumbell is based on a real life tradition Chinese toy puzzle called "Luban lock" (It reminds me of a rubix cube actually). And this little dumbbell can be seen in Zhongli's idle animation where he crosses his arms and closes his eyes as the dumbbell circles around him.
Some even say that his meteor during his burst isn't actually a meteor but instead, it's Guizhong's dumbell and since he can't unlock it, he just throws it down on his enemies.

in original CN voicelines, kaeya calls albedo "handsome" and the sketching part of albedo said about kaeya was actually so easy to draw when he was inspired so it took him only three strokes to draw him while it was vice versa for Huffman because he's not inspired at that time. it was also mentioned in irodori festival that albedo could speedrun his painting when he's inspired :) i feel like kaebedo is more of "off-screen bantering" kind of thing which lies behind time-gated events and voicelines to get to know about their dynamics!
I never knew the character's ages were controversial. I thought it was kinda obvious all the shorter characters were young adults. Hu Tao and Barbara are the only two I think could be younger than 18, but it's still unlikely.
many of the shorter characters are actually teenagers. Bennet, razor, fischl, chongyun, xingqui, xiangling, xinyan, etc. Technically the young adult is childe, who is around 19-21

fischl, barbara and noelle cant drink so they are canonically under 18. only ones I know to be confirmed under 18. fischl is kinda hinted to be 14-15 but not really confirmed, it is just based on her story and how it lines up with the current.

Also fun fact about the whole drawing thing, it seems like the English translation of Albedo drawing Kaeya in 3 strokes is slightly mistranslated and the og dialogue implies that he only does that "sometimes" when his mood is not good to put effort, which combined with the info that he said about spending hours on drawing Huffman (and now Klee saying he draws Kaeya quite a lot), we can say he actually does draw Kaeya well too!

It’s really nice to see someone talk about so many ships and treat all of them with respect even if they are considered controversial. One thing that annoys me about the genshin fandom is how people always have issues when it comes to respecting people’s opinions (like how everyone despises you if you ship traveler ships for example). Basic shipping etiquette is to always have respect for other people even when they have a different opinion. If you don’t like someone else’s ship, you don’t have to engage in it but don’t get mad at others who do. That’s something this fandom really needs help with.

Small things to add onto ChongQiu:
- During Chongyun's hangout, it's discovered Xingqiu was actually the one to suggest the spooky forest as a place to hunt evil spirits, that place is actually a popular one for couples' dates lmao
- Their designs were made to contrast one another! Chongyun being the yang and Xingqiu being the yin, I remember some talk about Xingqiu being phoenix but can't remember what exactly that was about lol
- The origin of this ship was because their gameplay worked together very well, people didn't actually know they were besties at first

As someone who has seen Kazuscara as a ship grow, here are some extra notes!
- Their origin was actually because they were the first Inazuman boys to be revealed, Scaramouche in Unreconciled Stars event and Kazuha's model being leaked around Lantern Rite
- Surprisingly, this ship nailed down Kazuha's personality very well when he wasn't in the game yet, then again, I'm pretty sure only Kazuscara shippers were writing about Kazuha at the time lmfao
- Kazuha is actually alive because of Scaramouche, since back then he spared his great grandfather, whose father was someone who helped Scaramouche during the time he was at the Tatarasuna
- Kazuha's bloodline indicates he's actually "Niwa Kazuha", since his great grandfather was adopted into the clan. Niwa in Japanese is written as "red feather", so you can guess Kazuha's trademark red streak is actually family genetics, which in turn explains why his great grandfather was spared when his hat fell off (NPCs lied to us/hj)
This ship is one of the most unusual I've had the pleasure of experience, a majority of us gave up on canon relation when the letters theory were proven false, but then Irodori shoved a whole ass cookie down our throat lmao (also gave birth to a very weird group of friends), oh also, we were mocked for liking a "weird ship", when we just wanted to do our thing lmao

I feel like a lot of ship videos that attempt to present themselves impartially will still take passive aggressive potshots at the fan base of ships they personally find distasteful. Just wanna add some things about my fav ship, zhongven asides from they are both immortal gods and total opposites of each other; it's because they are close friends in the lore. Zhongli's character story 5 is mostly about barbatos; how he came to him offering friendship, starting the 7 OG archon meetings that zhongli held so dear in his memory, until his disappearance. Their lore behind books and furniture are all hilarious and show how close they were in the past, and still are now. Their old married couple vibe is so funny to me.
Also I never understand people who says venti looks like a child. His model is the same as albedo, kazuha, xiao, etc. He is just cuter.

I'm so happy to see Xiao x Ganyu made it to the list. I love those two to bits, they are the perfect mix of melancholy, loneliness, mutual comfort and awkward fluff.
Here's a small trivia about their voicelines though, because Ganyu's voiceline about Xiao in the English version is kinda different compared to the others : In the English version it almost sounds like she is hesitant to deal with him, because of the death of his former comrades. However in the other languages, she implies that she'd like to get along better but because of his tragic past, she doesn't know how to approach him. I guess the nuance was kinda lost in translation.
PS: kinda bummed XingTao and Chongling didn't make it into the video. I guess there was just too many other options or they are just THAT unpopular TvT

a note on zhongven/venzhong: zhongli's character story 5 said that "nor would the wind ever return again", however in Mandarin it is said that something roughly of "nor would the wind return to his side again" which implies a much more personal/intimate longing.
also we have the wings of shimmering galaxy, where venti pour wine on Zhongli's head and he's not mad at it, and rather warned him, [ Later, the stone replied. It dabbed its face with a handkerchief, saying: "Your performance was indeed unmatched throughout the land. But the next time you get drunk and pour wine on my head, I shall be quite angry."]
ps: we have a lot of lore speculation about them, as their relationship are mostly depicted in strange cryptic random corner of the lore world (huge shout out to the furniture lore)
I like Zhongven or Venzhong because they give old couple who live for a long time vibe. Like both just sitting next each other and maybe one of them say "Remember when..." and the other replies "Yes, it happened seven hundred years ago" then they can also bicker about what happen 1000 years ago.
Also the way that in one of Zhongli’s dialogues he just immediately knows Venti visited and IMMEDIATELY knew to brew something!!! He acts like he’s had to do this multiple times before

Another thing about the ChiLi tag is that it's a "switch tag" iirc. Some people have preferences on dynamics and dislike seeing tha other, so the tags were separated into TartaLi and ZhongChi :))
The order of tagging also applies to all ships, but I guess the Zhongchi/Tatali fandom was just more vocal about it
Rather than sex positions, at its core TartaLi vs ZhongChi is more about whether you want to read soft Zhongli or more dominant Zhongli, and whether you read Childe as a soft dom type or a masochist with some self-destructive tendencies. TartaLi is a very soft ship. ZhongChi is a very spicy ship.

From friends to lovers, to childhood friends, to she was a punk she did ballet, to sugar parents and babies, this has inspired me to write different types of relationships with my own OCs.

One rairpare I like is Chongyun and Hu Tao, with like spirts and the warding off of them, I dont know if its a ship, but maybe a rivalry, idk, I just like their dynamic. But Bennett and Chongyun are cool, it isnt like an OTP, but i think its nice. Its mainly because they were in my first pull, but ehhhhh its fine. I think their personalitys could work, with Chongyun that wards off evil villains and Bennett has bad luck. I ship... a lot, but i dont really ship in genshin. I guess my only real OTP is Venti and Xiao, and maybe Chongyun and Xingqiu.
Genshin ships are something else, im literally into almost all the femslash ships such as Beiguang, JeanLisa, EiMiko, KokoSara (i know.), EulAmber but i do have to say all the ships have such interesting chemistry and MHM Thomato is a good one too 🙏

i don't understand why ships are so complicated in genshin community. they're literally fictional characters with no confirmed age (most of them i think). just because a character has shorter/smaller body doesn't always mean they're minor.
i usually just ship my favorite characters together. if they look good together in my opinion, automatically shipped. except if they're canon blood related siblings/relatives and childrens
I went and spead read some comments about their ships and what they think, and it's very interesting lol. I feel like you can ship whomever you like together cuz they're fictional and as long as it isn't plain illegal 👀

I like idea of the two interoverts who have a teacher/student and co-worker kind off relationship , but slowly release they have feeling for one another.
I think what makes me like them is because Sucrose is a shy and passionate girl who gets nervous easily, and Albedo is a calm collected boy who could care less about the opinion of others. I could imagine Sucrose being the one who constantly gets flustered by sudden compliments from Albedo, or Albedo being touched by a compliments from Sucrose, making him realize he values her more then a friend.
Pretty much I think they fit each other, and could blend well together in character development
